Independence Tourism Department: what do users think?
Julie Brown: Adventure Oasis in independence is so horrible! The manager has an overextended sense of authority, is rude and hostile! The staff of children are no better. I just witnessed an older woman being asked to leave because the manager didn't like her suit which was covering more that some of the young female staff that have their entire assessment hanging out for all to see! They only allow independence residents and 23 year olds have yo have a. ID. How 13 year olds have IDs????? This is idiotic rule if no outsiders is prejudice and under no way to run a business! If if us a Grandview kids money not good enough at this park? This place makes me sick and I will pass around fir people not to come here!

Visit KC: what do users think?
Erwin Milanes: Visitor center in the main street/downtown of Kansas City, MO.
JeanHelene Davis: What a wealth of information ! If you are having a group of people come in - they will assist you with providing bulk information for those coming. If it's for a group over 50 you need to give them more time to get info togeather. The offices are amazing, with meeting room space, and they're super nice too !
Tim Weinberg: Great place
gary duggan: What a great group of people. Everyone was friendly and they are very community centered. They are also generous, and donate back to local non-profits.
Tim Ryan: The VisitKC Team is amazing! They are a great resource to travelers coming into Kansas City. The work they do pioneers new horizons for the Hospitality, Tourism and Service Industries in the Greater Kansas City Metro. I am proud to be in partnership with them as a hotel accommodations provider because they genuinely craft a culture that understands the guests experience!
Ashley Lane: religious zealot in charge of this division, would highly recommend creating your own tour of kc via google than support anti-choice politicians that want to involve themselves in social services
Celeste: A great resource for anyone who's planning a trip to KC - whether for your personal trip or business trip, and also a great resource if your a meeting planner. If you're a local - you should still go here. There's all kinds of rack cards (coupons) for attractions in KC but also they can give you some ideas to try something you've never done before in your own city!
Darren Wilcox: Very helpful with lots of resources!
Courtney Kern: So glad that KC has an amazing organization that represents the best that KC has to offer!
Janet Evans: Very helpful even before I got there, I called. Gave me a lot of points for my wknd visit.
Paul Kueny: Unbelievably rude receptionist. Zero visitors and visable bathroom which I wasnt allowed to use. 63 year old attending conference from NC. Only visitor center ever turned away from in all my travels anywhere. So much for hospitality. Friday , May 25th;12:30pm. Zero stars
Donna Harris: Love it, fun downtown.
Mason Xp: A great place to go to ask questions if you are visiting KC.
Aasta J: Just spent afternoon running down by the river on what I had hoped to be a great riverside trail. It has a look of great potential but really appears to be a forgotten cause. Such a shame.
Paul Wright: First stop on you KC travel plans.
Christopher Wilson: Excellent voice for promoting Kansas City! Great location in the heart of downtown.
Jared Miller: Formerly the KC Convention & Visitor's Bureau.

nomadic K: If you're visiting kansas city for the first time, visit the Plaza for a nice evening and then head to either the power and light district or west port for where the party's are at. During the day you can do a lot in the area from shopping at the crown Plaza or seeing science city with the kids. You should definitely come during a game at the sprint center, with many food establishments in the area you'd never have to eat at the same place twice.
Mr Smoky: All kinds of museums, Worlds of fun, If you have time go to Powell Gardens in Kingsville, Mo
