Andrew Hack: I actually enjoy this Walmart better than the one in blue springs the one in blue springs makes you feel like you're there too help them if you can get any of them to help you at all. And another thing how is it the same thing at a different location is 10 dollars higher at the one in blue springs ? These are the things that make you wonder same vendor Walmart is not individually owned but prices are different . But anyhow you get to be yourself here you don't have to act better then anyone else here .
Adrian Klein: Entire store smelled like body odor. Used the self check and the bags REEKED of BO. We had to hand wash everything we bought after coming home because it caused our entire purchase to smell. We're literally wondering if someone died on the truck that had the bags or maybe a super smelly person napped on the shipment of bags?? Either way, something's horribly stinky.

cynthia swift: I don't shop much any more, so I was amazed there were 0 cashiers. All scan and go. I got through the process with some anxiety fine. I am usually some what slower, but I just happened to get a check out next to an associate, just incase I froze up. She said it was due to people saying they want a job, but don't show up for work.Maybe Biden should give them more money for their being handycapped; laziness. 😪

And a Walmart at that.That's a big put off, I'll not be shopping at this location again. If there's an officer standing guard, it's obviously not a safe place to shop.

Jaz: Annoying lane 10 or 11 is the only register you can go to for tobacco and alcohol yet you have people bringing full carts and taking forever. Why not just make a lane ONLY for those products no one wants to wait 10+ minutes in line because there no limit and people don’t care about others needs!

Hannah Stones: The best thrift store in Lees Summit. Don't even bother with red racks or good will, this place is where it's at. I have never found so many good clothes and they were so cheap. Dresses were $6-$8 depending on the dress, some of them were really nice! I had a ton more items that I wanted to buy but I had to limit myself. And best of all they had their dressing rooms open. The other places closed down their dressing rooms, permanently it seems. I'm not going to buy clothes without being able to try them on first, so I was so happy Hillcrest had theirs open. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for clothes.

While here, I experienced a very clean store with courteous employees and volunteers. Hillcrest has exceptional prices on their merchandise however you can find additional “deals” by checking out selected colored tags. Huge thank you to this store for making this shopping experience a great one!

The 1st Saturday of every month features everything in the store at 1/2 off (including jewelry & furniture). Open since 2012 the mission of Hillcrest Thrift stores is to provide 90 day transitional housing to people in need. They are taught to gain employment, budget their money, keep an apartment, learn new skills and so much more as long as they follow the guidelines of the program. Apartments are located in Lee's Summit and Independence, MO. Almost all the proceeds from the thrift store go back to the program! Hey, they are having a 1/2 off storewide sale on ' Black Friday ', Nov. 26, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Come on out!

And is incredibly quick to snap at you.i.e. pricing sticker falls off=can't sell to you, won't hold onto anything at counter (large item hard to carry around), all around rude to every customer she interacted with while I was there.Eek! I'll make sure to turn around when she's working or not make any eye contact with her.Otherwise most all other volunteers very sweet!

Katrina Kirby: As far as Walmarts go on this side of the metro this one is the best. It's always super busy but the caliber of people exceeds others. Example: left my phone in a cart, got all the way back to Independence on the way home before I noticed. By the time we got back I was sure there was no chance to get it back- but it had been turned in to customer service. No issues.

Carol Quiroz: This location NEVER has enough cashiers and hardly ever has any of its quick check out lanes open for people buying just a few items. This is an ongoing problem with this location and I must say that at least 4 out of the last 5 times I have gone here to grab a few things I needed I have ended up leaving my cart setting and walked out due to not having time to stand in line for 20 min just to purchase 5 or 6 items. The manager at this location needs to be removed from his or her position and someone with some customer service experience hired to replace them asap!!!! I personally will not be going back here again!

Terry Tucker: On the 3rd of June an order of more than 400.00 was placed - requesting an expedited delivery charge. The order was first being shopped by Justin, with least than 30 items, a second shopper Evans started the whole order over. During which I communicated, with both when there was a need to substitute. One minute I'm notified that the order was on the way, next notification - your order was attempted to be delivered, but I was not available and we will try later. I have had to call three times requesting cancellation. And a full refund. To date no refund. I will have to follow up with my bank on fraud. I am done with walmrt
