Katherine Venyard: Beware!!! My father saw a Dr here in August. The dr didn't do any x-rays or other scans. He went off of an x-ray from February. He told him he has copd and sent him home with inhalers and a prescription for Chantix. My father continued to suffer. When his appointment for a breathing test came up he was too weak and coughing to come in and do the test. He talked to a nurse and pleaded with her for antibiotics or some other form of help. She told him he had to come in to see the Dr. My father told her he was too weak. She referred him to Urgent Care. Luckily, a new dr at his PCP's office was smart enough to realize something else was going on and ordered a CT scan. After getting the results and seeing an Oncologist, we now know he more than likely has lung cancer that has spread to his liver. He also has an enlarged lymph node pressing against his wind pipe. I just got hung up on by the scheduler at this office after going round and round with her about working him in tomorrow for a walking breathing test. He needs oxygen and STILL poor care from this office. Beware if you choose to go here. Nurses and schedulers have a lack of compassion and clearly the Dr found out he is a life time smoker and went straight to copd. My father said the dr spent maybe 10 minutes with him. Go at your own risk.

Blake McCullough: I was saw by Dr. Pervez as an inpatient at St. Mary's Medical Center for bilateral pulmonary embolisms. This provider was very compassionate, attentive, thorough in examination, and answered any questions or concerns that I may have had. I do not believe my outcome would have been the same without his expertise and attentiveness. I was able followed up with him after being released from the hospital fairly quickly and again received nothing but excellent treatment from him including quick responses to phone conversations. I would highly recommend Dr. Pervez to anyone including family members for pulmonary/critical care conditions.

Waited 4 months for the appointment and besides almost forgetting why I was referred there, was expecting a little more of a "meet and greet" environment. Not saying I'm not gonna get good care and I am hopeful, but doctors, especially specialist are expensive even with insurance. I would have liked a better experience. The day of the appointment I actually got called in a few minutes early for the testing and met with the doctor ahead of the scheduled time. Not normal for most medical appointments elsewhere obviously.Doctor Forbes listened well, asked good questions, and made a diagnosis that seems to be addressing my athletic goals. She spent a bunch of time talking with me and I am pleased with the outcome.Heck, they even have free EV charging, so I plugged my car in and got 35 miles of range while at my appointment.I would recommend this office to anyone seeking the services they offer.
