S L: Have had great experiences at this Target. Pick up has been quick and efficient as well as checking out and returning items. Shout out to Marcia who was so kind in assisting me through the returns process today. The employees have been very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. Big Target fans here and happy to have a good one close by for all of our needs!

Jack Graham: Love the ability to order online and then drive to the store, park in a designated spot, and have someone bring your items to you. They are very quick at it too. It is nice to have an alternative to Amazon, as Target pricing is very competitive, and oftentimes far lower than what I can find online.

Michele Pearson: I use this Walgreens because it is close. I've never had a medication problem. But I do find it frustrating to wait in a double drive thru lane with only one person working the window. Also they need a mirror outside so they can see which cars arrive first.

They take them away after 10 pm and will not allow paying customers to use them. Why? I have no idea. Why 10pm and not 8pm or 9pm or midnight? Who knows. I didn't stick around to hear whatever pathetic reasons they have to give, but this I do know, it's literally the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard of. If you have multiple items to purchase I guess you are just supposed to load your arms up and struggle your way up to the register. You don't deserve the convenience of a shopping basket. You could be a thief so that means everyone is a thief! All I could do is laugh and shake my head and leave. No way am I going to spend my money somewhere that treats paying customers this way. This filthy dump is a good representation of the dumpy town that it's in, methed up Independence.This store is a joke. Avoid it! Drive to the next closest 24hr Walgreens if you must go to one. But chances are, you won't be allowed to use a shopping basket there either. Absolutely asinine.

The employees both ignored me and threw a fit every time they had to help me. Was told today my photos would be ready in an hour, which is what it says right on the front of the building. Sure I had a lot of photos but i did what the computer said then was told by a rude lady that computers don't compute when they weren't ready in an hour and a half. Computers don't compute. Seems legit. Then she laughed like I was the idiot for thinking my photos would be ready when the machine said they would be. Maybe hire more people or work them less? Customer service training might not hurt either.

This type if business causes illnesses and disease to spread because everyone who is sick must come in and handle their business in person. I tried to handle my prescriptions over the phone for 3 days no one answered my call and the hold prompts never changed, leading to beleive the phones were not being answered.The wait and #of calls ahead never change which means no one was moving. While on hold I arrive ar the pharmacy to see 2 people working fervishky, prescriptions puled on the ground and spilling out of cubbies, and a very ling line.while waiting pharmacy employees were angry and confused with eachother...did bot seem to know what they were and were notresponsible for. The line was a dozen people long and steadily growing with irritated people coughing no . Also very unclean, messy walgreens in generalmasks no 6ft rules being followed

These must be the reasons for:A 715pm appointment and I'm leaving at 747pm with no booster administered. We are still being ignored by Pharmacist Joe. He is pictured. Renee Barker: I would give this pharmacy a 0 if it would let me choose that on the ratings. This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever gone to in my life! I have literally called to get the price of my medication knowing that I'm on the last day of my medication and I've got to have it now, I get there and pick up my medication and it's $85 more than what they told me on the phone! The next time I go there I go to get my husband some Sudafed for his allergies and I specifically ask for Sudafed she gives me a generic Box and staples the bag closed so I don't see until I get home that it's the generic which doesn't work on my husband. I tried to take it back to the store and exchange an unopened package, And they refused To let me exchange it because it had left the store. Then they refused to let me buy the correct stuff because supposedly I had exceeded my maximum. Then today I Call to have them print out a prescription list for me and and I waited on hold for an hour and during that hour long hold they picked up the phone and put me back on hold 16 times!! So zi went up there. When I arrived they refused to give me the prescription list without an ID. If somebody would have taken 30 seconds to answer the phone and tell me I would have needed that, I would've had it when I arrived and saved the $12 in gas I spent driving out there twice! Again this is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with And that is every single time ideal with them. Their excuse for not bothering to answer the phone was that they were short staffed today. There were 5 people behind the counter! The CVS that I go to has 2 people in there on a Sunday and they still answer the phone! You may have to wait 15 minutes but they make sure to handle it!

Alexis: The manager at this location is a racist Karen, she was eyeing me throughout the store and followed me to the door accusing me of stealing a bottle of white out I had decided to put back and then proceeded to kick me out the store. This is the second instance this has happened to me in Independence.

jason hale: I'm in the store probably more than I'm at my own house and I'm not the easiest person to deal with sometimes and if I have any problems they fix it they take my temper with a grain of salt 99.9% of the time they are dead on. The pharmacy customer service is absolutely amazing rock stars especially Carmen and Clara and there's one other girl I can't think of her name Connor does an amazing job and I couldn't be prouder and go deal with them if you have to have that experience I recommend it yeah I could give him 20 Stars I would but Google won't let me do that

I've missed procedures cause they haven't had anything ready that was ordered 14 days in advance. They're also are messing with people's health. People need their medicine. Especially when a procedure is having to be put off. Repeatedly. I even asked them to send to a different Walgreens. So I can have it filled instead of dealing with them. Said they transferred. Come to find out they still haven't done there job. They need to close the pharmacy down at this location. They are getting paid to sit on their hands. Or corporate who I've spoken with needs to do something. I've even had them close the curtain in my face while trying to figure out what's going on. Awful.

I have three times and it’s the same thing every time.I will just drive the 15-20 minutes to the linwood location or to the Lee summit location. They were very polite and went above and beyond to help me.I wouldn’t recommend this location for prescriptions unless you can wait 4 days like I had too with all of the confusion and “user errors.”I’m disappointed and hope someone helps them out here.

The guy going to get it was 6min out and they told my room mate they had already locked the doors at 8:54pm. Your store DOES NOT CLOSE until 9PM. Get a brain. The first 20 years until 1997, the second store for 22 yearuntil I retired.BOTH, had instore pharmacies.This is the 2nd time I have used the Walgreens at 2261 S Sterling Ave, Independence, MO, Store #4236.Not my preferred pharmacy but one of the closest to my house. I used them earlier this summer, 2022, terrible service. I figured they were having a bad day or help called in sick.Today, 9/1/22, went to pick up Paxlovid, covid treatment pill. One person in ahead of me, and one to get covid immunization, different line. One Pharmacy tech on the phone, the other dong the ALL IMPORTANT drive up window. When window Girl, whom served 3 car, was finished she asked if she could help me. BTW window girls speed was a saunter at BEST!I told here NO, elderly man ahead of me had been waiting 15 minutes, help him. She took his name and went TO the drive up PC. Then a car drove up and she started serving THEM!! Two cars later I began talking to people in line, ask if always this bad? Wife of the elderly man in front of me said yes, a lot of the time, WOW, WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I waited about 3-5 more minutes for a total of near 25 minutes. Told the lady and her husband I am old school, which means common courtesy. Serve the customers as they get in line, IN store or out, everybody chuckled and agreed.THE PHONE AND DRIVE-UP ARE THE all that matters, right?The Tech on the phone NEVER stuck her head around the corner to check on ANYBODY, OR ANYTHINGAs turned and walk out, 5 people were in line behind me, I told them good luck!I told them all I had been in line for 20-25 minutes and NOT one single person had been served.Called my preferred Pharmacy 4 mile from my house, Hy-Vee they are transferring the script as I type this review. Ask theHy-Vee tech how much it cost me. 5 day treatment is about $530, LOL.OOPS sorry Walgreen you lose!I WILL NEVER step foot in another Walgreen, Don’t want to “chance” this EXTREMELY LOW levelof service ever again. If I could give them ½ a star I would. Oh and yes, EVERYBODY is short on help, so don’t talk to me about this issue.

Bad management and just stupidity and wasting my time. No reason they couldn't get my info and give me the materials for the covid test in lane 2 after waiting 30 minutes
