He loves the small groups where he gets the individual help he needs. He loves the reward system where he can build up tokens and buy things from the sylvan store. As a mom, everyone has been so nice and welcoming to me. Nothing makes me happier than a team who supports my sons' education. The fact that they have financing available is the best! Such a great way to be able to afford the extra help our son needs. If I ever need to move our schedule around they are very flexible- being mindful of their protocols. Cannot say enough great things about this place!! We are coming back in the fall to keep our son on par with math while starting our homeschool journey and I can't wait for it!!! Brenda weston: My granddaughter has been learning at Sylvan for about 4 months now. There has been a big improvement in her math and reading skills. She loves going, which is half the learning battle. The students are rewarded with tokens they can use to 'buy' toys, trinkets and gift cards. This incentivises them to reach certain goals. It's a system that would make the behaviorists proud! And, it seems to work. I am anxious to see if this pays off in the long run. I have heard from others that it is worth it. However, this is an expensive program, that many cannot afford. I am holding my final review until I see the true cost/benefit analysis. Hence, only 4 stars for now. They desperately need to develop an online scheduling system. We have had several scheduling mishaps. However, they have always accommodated us. BW
