St. Mary Parish: what do users think?
Angela Marquez: beautiful place I love to be Catholic
Fancie 1982: The Catholic Church does not care about anyone. In fact christians in general are the most selfish people on this planet. I seek help and all people do is ignore me, this is why I am so close to leaving the christian faith
Kevin Ryan “KCLoud816” Treece: Great architecture building of historical INDEPENDENCE, MO
Shekinah Hopkins Faulkner: Awesome
Angela “Angela Absolutely” McDowell: The building is beautiful and the artwork lovely. Built in the mid- 1800s, it's one of the few surviving older buildings in Independence. It's beauty drew me in one wintry morning. Perhaps it was the coldness of the season that put such a chill to the priest, but he offered no warmth or compassion to me. I came in with a heaviness weighing on my heart and left just the same.
Mr. Boydston: Cool place like a mini amusement park.
Jim Heidbreder: Enjoyed Mass.
Jeana Hand: They have a pantry and clothes closet. The sisters are very friendly and they do accept walk ins, but prefer you have a appointment.
Demetrius “MEECHIE” Wilson: If they have it inside this church they'll help. Food Pantry, clothes, shoes, scarfs call or stop by there by 3pm side door if you can call first for an appointment that day if possible
Maria Guerrero: I really enjoyed the church services at st Mary's today.
Jerry Nicas: Historical Catholic church in Independence. Very nice masses
R Renfro: Great old church inside too
Penny Carlson: They have a food pantry and clothes closet that I get help from
Andre goku Brodie: If you got God.. who's against you?
Miguel Garcia: Exelent
Glennon Schlitt: Parts of mass were in Latin felt like I was going to church back in mid 1950. The priest had his back to people for much of mass. Women wore head scarves and their were lots of kids. Alter was very ornate..
Anarchy Wohletz: Very nice conservative catholic church. The priest always has a wonderful homily, and the parishioners are all very nice.
Frank Watson: Duh St Mary's
Sean Farley: God Bless Everyone
Chris Howard: Boy Scouts for my kid are a really good positive influance

Open Arms Community of Christ: what do users think?
Mike P.: Friendly people who embrace those who come to this church.
Mary Jane Tyra: I was confirmed into Open Arms on the 25th of September. I chose this church because of their mission statement of All are welcomed in this House of the Lord. The building inside and out are wheelchair accessible they have an elevator to all floors. Great people, made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. They are still offering Zoom Church for those who are unable to attend in person.
Everyday Massage: Open Arms is one of the most accepting, affirming, loving congregations I have ever been a part of! ❤

All are welcome, all are loved, and all are appreciated. You'll never find a group of more imperfectly amazing people anywhere. Misfits, perhaps...but filled with love and joy and a willingness to grow and learn and be better servants for the Lord...always. Now home to the new Open Arms Theatre, a family friendly (soon to be year round) entertainment and place to get involved for all ages. Our first production opens April 18th, 2019 and you won't want to miss this modern adaption of the life of Jesus. An original adaptation entitled ... First Church of the Nazarene: what do users think?
Cindy Maradiaga: Hermoso lugar para adorar al padre
Symbiotic cyborg: Dan an Tina were the kindest most real people I've ever meet idk if they still run part of the church when I was there they had our church an another church happens as well all very nice great people
William Selby: Good fellowship
Mark O'Brien: Perfect
Thomas Drummond: Great church
Angel Pujols: This church is my home. It has turned my life around completely. I've never been so proud to have attended this church ever since i was little. When i was at my elementary school, i used to be the baddest kid in the school. Then i started going to this church, which is where i met my favorite pastor/fatherfigure, and great friend, Pastor Dan McCarthy. I started to change little by little. Then i attended middle school and i got into less trouble. When i got to high school, i barely got into trouble. It seems i didn't like trouble at the time. When i realized it, i noticed Pastor Dan, and his wife Teena, they're two daughters Alexis and Jasmine, and everyone else from that church has changed me. I have so many things i want to say. So many things. So i guess i'll just keep it simple. In this church, i have so many friends. Also some best friends. All i can say is, anyone is welcome to come, and i bet that right away you'll feel you are at home, the kingdom of God, surrounded by so many great friends. They say our church has five stars, but i would give it 25 stars. ;-)😄😃😀😊😁
Diana T: Absolutely love this church beyond description!!!😍😘😙😗Best described as a small church full of great believers. They are very welcoming and love to worship and serve others. They truly embody love. In fact, they love to help people so much that they are willing to go out on a limb if necessary.
Sam: It's more than a church it's a family "Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common."
Marek Marcinkowski: This church is a small one and has a lot of compassionate people and a equally compassionate pastor. I come with a friend from time to time and this church is always great. Great singing and life lessons.

The Stone Church Community of Christ: what do users think?
Brenda Gard: Love Stone Church. So many memories there
Heather Smith: Very friendly and greet and get to know every guest that comes! Beautiful glass windows!
Jeffrey Parrish: This historic church is a nice landmark and a functioning church. The architecture was aggressive and grand for it's day. The pipe organ is surprisingly massive and beautiful. The stained glass windows are first rate. There is a balcony all around, integrated with the main floor. There are many avenues for foot traffic.Showing the age of it's design, the flooring is uneven in areas and some overheads under the balcony are tight. But this is just architecture. What makes Stone Church special is the people in it, and the people who have gone before. They are very friendly and social. They are kind and giving. They are Christians with a commitment to God, their families, their friends, and their neighbors. My parents were married here in '52. As a boy, we periodically went to services at Stone Church, especially around conference. Even though it never was my home congregation, going to worship here always has a feeling of homecoming. I don't get to Stone Church often, but it is always special when I do.
E the “E the Hustler” Hustler: Great school!!
Jacob Hensley: Good
Kimberly Fisher: 👍👏
Samuel “Sam” Quinn: I lived two houses down from the Stone Church as a child. They owned the building (a 2 story house converted into two apartments) and our rent stayed the same for the entire time we lived there. We attended services every Sunday, and it seemed like a treat every week. It is such a beautiful building inside and out, and the organ music and choir would just carry me away.
Lindee Hopkins: Was there for a funeral & found church staff friendly & gracious
James Stice: Wonderful reunion an experience in tackling I have needed for years !Thank you so muchRonald Jr.Not soon shall our visiting moments disapear.
