Eva is my instructor, and she is the best. - extremely knowledgeable, patient, and explains everything very well. I learn something new every week an I always look forward to the next lesson. I highly recommend Eva and this facility for lessons!

Seriously can’t believe they only had one instructor out for 3 7 year olds that have no horse riding experience at all!This review is me putting my thought nicely and would not recommend anyone going or taking their kids here!

Jeffrey Parrish: We have done the Boy Scout merit badge program at Misty River for Horsemanship a few times. The facilities are quite good. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, good people and easy to talk with. The horses are gentle and mostly tolerant - one was high energy, chomping at the bit.The arena where the riding takes place is good sized and in good order.I am not a horse expert and so I rate Misty River with a different eye than a serious horse person. I look at them with a novice eye. What I see and experienced is more than good enough to satisfy our needs.
Holly Schmitz: My daughter has been taking riding lessons here to learn Show Jumping. Ms. Roach is very good and has helped our daughter progress amazingly since June of this year.
Jeremy Roberts: A few instructors have no clue what they are doing I recommend not going there for horse back riding lessons.

Jessica Segura: Thank you Maggie and staff! We had our daughter’s 10th birthday here and purchased the party package. They even had my daughter’s favorite horse for her, Nik. All of the kids enjoyed horse rides, painting the horses, feeding and visiting all of the animals, and celebrating the birthday in the party room which is super cute and has PLENTY of space for a large party. The staff was prompt, attentive, professional, and took charge of the party which allowed the parents to take photos and enjoy the time as well. They were fantastic with all of the kids and ensured the safety of everyone. Definitely recommend this for a party and will be back for trail rides!
Laura Kathleen Baker: We had a 5 year old birthday party there and it was fabulous! The staff is lovely. Maggie explains the animals so well to the kids. Would absolutely have another birthday party there again.

But great here!I do not really like the trainer savanna because she does yell a lot. But she can be really nice at times. But Sammy and Kenzi are my fav trainers. They really explain things really well. And they are super nice.
Meranda Lathrop: We had my daughters 5th birthday there and it was perfect! Her friends loved painting the horses Nick and Emmy and riding them afterwards. Maggie and her staff did an excellent job interacting with the kids and letting them feed the animals. I highly recommend Sunset Trails.

Christen Louise: My daughter had the best time at camp here this summer! She wanted to try horseback riding, and when I saw the camps, it looked like such a good opportunity for her to try it out, but also just have a good time all week. All the staff I interacted with were so nice, and they were so good with the kids. I really appreciated the little show they did on the final day, so fun! She had such a blast, and I think it was a really good introduction to horses for her, and this camp may become her new summer thing!

Deanna Goucher: We had my grandsons 1st birthday party yesterday and it was great! The party room was perfect and all the kids had a great time. There was plenty of staff to help with the riding and other activities that included the horses.
Angela Wright: Great horseback riding summer camp for kids! Half day and full day camp offered. The kids learn how to lead horses, groom and handle horses, as well as, ride horses. They also board horses. You can walk around and see all of the horses in their stalls, check out the goats, lots of friendly farm cats too! The staff is wonderful with the kids!

Kevin Q: Last month I drove 20 minutes to get here and as I pull in the drive the guy says, sorry you have to make an appointment. He didn't even let me see the hordes, I thought that was weird not like any stable that I've ever been to. This is a very private stables and perhaps it should be advertised on Google to be assumed as public.

jscott20002278: They are not very accommodating and will not help you in anything whatsoever....and they are constantly doing private stuff so don't ever try to get a trail ride or lesson or anything really...go to another place... seriously dissatisfied with this place! To many other well run places in the area to settle for this place
dwight keeling: It was awesome...great service and the horses are well maintained and experienced. Be prepared for your cheeks to hurt from all the smiling and laughing. Oh..even surprises on the trail I won't spoil for you. Soo much to see...great way to bond with your love one.

debbie black: We stopped here for overnight boarding, but the facility is not safe for horses. Kent did his best, covering the window with wood that was just one foot off the floor at the back of one stall. I had to duct tape over the open outlets in both stalls. Might be a charming event venue, but do not bring a horse here. It is not safe.

Taylor Mcmahan: This is like one of my favorite pumpkin patches I just figured this one out about last year we went the only downfall I have of this pumpkin patch is it is $15 per person which I think should cover all of their pony rides their hayrides but you have to buy tickets for that too so very expensive but I guess you get what you pay for if I had anything to say about it it would just be the amount of getting in is outrageous but it's fun!!!

Brianna Zeller: Edit : the previous manager was the issue i had posted about. They now have a new manager and everything runs wonderfully and we are back at the barn!!They do not care about the well being of horses, just want to make money. Wish I had looked deeper into reviews before taking my rescue horse there. She regressed terribly there and we are back to square one on trust. Not a safe place.
Angela Cloud: I love it here! The facilities and location are gorgeous. The horses seem healthy and happy, and all of the boarders I have met so far have been extremely friendly and welcoming. You also couldn’t ask for a better barn manager. She’s extremely knowledgeable, caring, and diligent about creating the best environment possible for the horses and the boarders!
Regen Quinn: I don't normally write reviews but I have to say, this place is lovely. The staff are knowledgeable and the owner is really nice. The place is well maintained, all the horses look happy and healthy (obviously the most important part), and some of the boarders I met seemed really chill.
Faith Rosenberger: Great community of boarders. New manager is friendly and helpful, with the horses' health and safety as her top priority. The facilities have everything I need to work with my horse. He's happy, I'm happy. It's a great place to be!

Michael C: The barn manager may have changed, but until the ownership of the property changes DO NOT take your horse here. Our horse and another had to be put down due to their negligence. Only if you care nothing for your animal would I trust it to be on Bill's property.

They have been so helpful and love my horse as their own so I couldn’t ask for a better place to keep him!!!Unfortunately after about 6 months the more boarders that came in the more drama started... people with no horse sense or common sense. I had to leave.
Frances Ciliberti: Now, I love, love Halloween and in all my years of being on this earth, at age 51, this is my first time going to a pumpkin patch. I went with my daughter and granddaughters. I had so much fun. We went on a hayride and I loved seeing their little faces light up with so much joy. They got to ride the ponies, get in the bounce houses, went through a short maze, I did the slingshot, and they picked out their own pumpkins. I will make it a point to join them every year. It was amazing!
