Rolling Acres Pet Memorial Center: what do users think?
Sheryl P: Waited very long time to get pets plaque to be installed on fence. I called them and was told it's in but, damaged and will be returned for new one to be made. After waiting many more weeks, I went there and it was in the office (not sure how long it was there). It was placed on fence while I waited. The bushes in front of fence were dead and looked horrible. They said nothing would live there. If that's the case, pull them out and just put some nice rocks in place. Very embarrassing to even have friends and family see it.
Jennifer Taylor: This place is amazing I had to use them 3 times in the last 3 years
Lenora Stearns: My cat was taken here after he passed away by the emergency vet. While his urn is beautiful, his paw print wasn't done well and feels fragile. I also asked for a clipping of his fur, which I did not get. That was the most important thing to me and my wishes weren't respected. I'm not sure why, maybe it wasn't on the paperwork (even though i asked, 4 or 5 times). Thank you for giving him back to me.
Olivia Fergerson: My family has had three fur babies sent to them the most recent being a week or so ago they always done a great job at one of our hardest times. We always went through our vet to have a private cremation and their ashes returned to us so we can bury them in the yard they ran in and they would be close to us. Unfortunately our latest baby although he was put down for private he was put in communal by mistake and spread across the rolling acres instead of coming home. We got his ceramic paw prints which I will cherish but it's hard not having him home with our other two fur angels. I'm not mad because I know mistakes happen even to the best of us. I'm more sad and heartbroken that he is not as close as we would like him to be because it feels like losing him again. Thanks for all that you do and please take care of gizmo there for us.
Lauren A: If you decide to try and plan ahead and prepay for certain services and then have to go through a vet that partners with the cemetery make sure you either plan on transporting the pet yourself or state clear instructions to the vet and call the cemetery as well or things may not go as you planned. I had paid for cremation and a clay paw print for my dog, Sky, a few days ahead of time. I was trying to be proactive and have it done thinking we had more time together but unfortunately things did not work out that way. A few days after prepayment she had to be euthanized which was already heartbreaking enough, and as my vet was a partner with this cemetery I decided to have him transport her to the cemetery rather than me move her myself as I didn’t think I could emotionally handle it.Well between me prepaying and me also going through the vet there were two “profiles” I was entered into rolling acres system under and unfortunately my dog was checked into the one through the vet. I understand exactly how something like this could happen, as it is kind of confusing and people make mistakes, sure. However I feel like there should be some software or something that notifies this company of double entries of customers to avoid this.Since my dog was checked in under the other profile and my vet had not gone over the options with me, she was signed up for the most basic options with no clay paw print that I paid for and a different urn. When sky was ready to be picked up a woman called and informed me of what happened. I could tell she felt bad and didn’t want to have to let me know but she never really apologized. I simply asked for a refund and to move my dog to the correct urn at the time as I was stunned that this really happened and didn’t know what to say. But the paw print was truly something sentimental that I was really hoping for and I missed out on and can never get back because of someone else’s mistake. When I came in for pickup it seemed very impersonal and the only mention of the error was asking for my card to do the refund and the woman didn’t seem apologetic at all. Perhaps she wanted to just avoid an uncomfortable encounter, but it really just sucked to miss out on this and have it seem like no one really cared.Even during the preplanning I felt sort of rushed and like I wasn’t supposed to be there. I had called and set an appointment to talk about options but when I showed up the woman seemed confused on why I was there then quickly took me to a separate room and had me pick options in a matter of minutes without really explaining anything.Overall the facility is nice, pricing was good, they took care of my dog quickly and most of the employees I spoke with were just okay. The only person I spoke with that felt genuine was Karen, who is the one I initially called and she set the appointment time for me. I didn’t catch anyone else’s name I interacted with but I was pretty disappointed because everyone else’s reviews say how personable and comforting everyone was and that was not my experience at all.
Pam Gladless: The staff at Rolling Acres was so nice. The lady that brought me Tracey Jo's ashes was so kind. She wanted to hear all about Tracey. Eventhough she never met Tracey she had genuine caring and compassion. The grounds are beautiful. Its a very peaceful and loving place.Thank you for taking good care of my girl
Amy Smith: I would like to thank you for taking care of my Pugsley in such a great way. You sent his ashes home to me in a beautiful urn along with his clay pawprint and ink one too. I still have yet to find the perfect picture of him to put in the picture window.
Lisa Manning: Wonderful and helpful.
Aziya Rash: On January 8 , 2022; we unexpectedly had to put our beloved pit bull down. Our pet hospital sent her to this location and now I see why! I have been speaking on the phone to a lady by the name of Karen, and another person before her but I can’t remember her name(maybe Julie?). They were very nice to me, and respectful. We had been trying to get a clip of my dogs hair because in the midst of everything we forgot to ask the vet. So I called this place and they offered more options to remember our dog by, and even gave me time to decide what I wanted!! These people are very understanding and patient when it comes to the loss of your pet. I will be returning to this company for any other memorial services !
rich ehlers: The care and compassion showed in the handling of our dog Polo was touching. When we received our pets ashes back we were overwhelmed with how much care and love went into our dogs final resting. Thank you all so very much from the bottom of our hearts
Watchgirl 77: I just lost my beautiful Katie earlier this week! I wanted her cremated. My vets office, Jackson animal clinic 5 stars btw, sent her remains to Rolling Acres Memorial for her cremation. The things I got back from them was just.. wonderful! Her urn was beautiful! It looked better than the picture that I picked out. And then to my surprise I got her pawprint on a piece of clay with her name and engraved on it. Just such a beautiful way for me to remember my Kitty cat Katie! Thank you rolling acres you guys are wonderful keep up the good work!
Katreena Bass: It was hard to say goodbye to my chihuahua that had most of my life but Karen at Rolling Acres was amazing and helped take care of everything
Silent Kasbah: Many years ago our beloved poodle silver passed away. As a family we decided to bury him at a pet cemetery. And today I was fortunate enough to speak to someone at the cemetery and ask them if they could tell me if this was his final resting place. I asked her if Silver was there if she would please take a picture of his gravesite and send it to me. As I said it’s been many many years since Silver passed. I lost my mother in 2007 and my father had Alzheimer’s so I have been on a mission to find Silver’s grave. Today this wonderful lady I spoke to sent me the picture I have wanted for many years. Thank you so much ❤️
gina finley: Rolling acres is the place to have your loving pet cremated. The love that they put into every aspect of this difficult time is amazing. Pierre was treated with the upmost respect. THANK U!!!
Shadow Merriel: They help me when I lost my Zsazsa Bear Merriel.
W Gregor: Professional and friendly staff helped me pick out a nice urn for my beloved dog. They explained the cost for everything over the phone and made sure the engraving was exactly how I wanted it. They also created a paw print in clay for me and it turned out great.
Kent Rockwood Tyler: It is always hard to lose a pet. They have cremated three dogs of mine over the years. Very professional, compassionate employees & modern facility.I'm a very simple man, so I like simple and that's okay with them. They aren't pushy at up-selling. They do have some very nice urns and such plus various options.Am grateful for their services.
Rebecca Weaver: I’ve had all of my pets cremated at Rolling Acres for the last 16 yrs. Most recently I lost my sweet 8 yr old Boxer/Pit mix Snyder to lymphoma. They are the kindest most compassionate people. They are very comforting & understanding in your time of grief.
Stacy Steward: All of my pets have been buried there. The staff are all wonderful and super professional. Karen especially is amazing! As heartbreaking as it is to lose a pet, I always enjoy talking to Karen. She’s listened more than once while I cried reminiscing about one of my babies. Rolling Acres has always gone above and beyond in my experience. They truly understand what it’s like to experience the loss of a pet.
Mark James: These people are so caring they helped me out so much with my dog diesel that just passed away I really appreciate all your guys help and reaching out to me and seeing how I am doing.
Kelsey Russell: I took my beloved dog, Paisley, to the vet after she passed away, and they used Rolling Acres as their cremation services. I was just expecting her cremains to come back in a cardboard box, but Rolling Acres went above and beyond my expectations. I received a mold of Paisley's paw print, her cremains were placed in a beautiful box, and touching paperwork was included, as well. Rolling Acres made the very traumatic experience of losing my pet much easier with their kindness and wonderful services.

Mt Washington Cemetery: what do users think?
Susan Connor: Memorial Day Flag display is awesome. Glad to see Brookside wall is repaired. The roads need attention. The road over the creek with easy access from Truman Road to 24 Highway should be re-established.
Mary Koenig: This was the first time in years that we have been able to visit my mom and dad’s grave and not had a bad experience. The road was freshly paved (it was in an awful state of disrepair), the grass was mowed and the lane to get down to the grave was nicely filled in for easier walking, and most importantly the tomb stone had been trimmed around and slightly leveled. We had inquired about everything before and asked that better upkeep take place but the previous owners said they couldn’t do anything. It was very frustrating! It was such a pleasure to visit the cemetery this time with all the improvements. Thank you so much for all your hard work! It was very appreciated!
Salvatore Migliazzo: Happy to have the Westside gate open. Looking forward to improving conditions with new owners. I will be having my monument and flat marker’s refurbished.
Stanley Eckert: I have to say very suprized, indeed..
Ryan Milum: I'll give three stars for now (up from only one). I read the Memorial Day flyer about the new ownership. I'm excited and hopeful that they'll take the necessary steps to make Mt. Washington what it deserves to be. I can definitely see the improvements made so far, but there are certainly more steps to be taken. The older section of the cemetery (on the hill) was still not as well maintained as it should be, though portions of the road are notably better. Again, I'm hopeful that the new ownership will continue making the much needed improvements. I look forward to next year's Memorial Day and the idea that the ENTIRE cemetery will be well manicured. I'll be sure to update this review with those findings.
Not Skip Bayless: These cocksuckas lost my grandmothers headstone. Was there for over 10 years now going to try and find her, her headstone is missing and I can’t locate my grandmother. Neither can the cemetery. Same as my grandfather which he is placed to rest next to my grandmother. Called the office an they didn’t seem to care. Said if the headstone is gone, it’s gone and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Fern Deatherage: I am so pleased that someone is finally making an effort to improve the cemetery. It was sad to see it deteriorating.
Virginia Peters: Very pleased! The best the cemetery has looked in years!
Julie Cunningham: Would see cemetery many times on bus
Nevin Marshall: Really nice cemetery
Becky Krueger: The staff was very helpful in helping me find my g-g-grandfather's grave.
Eva Figueroa: Horrible service , just because I purchased a headstone elsewhere, they have no sympathy in rushing to put his stone because I didn’t purchased with them , which I can’t afford there prices, my husband is there he should have some kind of priority as anyone else , my father in law was buried there just a few days ago and I understand deaths happen everyday and they are busy but having respect for others is also important, we have 3 family members there and they obviously just care about money and don’t care about people’s feelings, keep in mind they have no AC where they make the services at I had to rent a industrial fan to keep our guest cool, horrible horrible experience
Marty French: I find the natural beauty and the history fantastic. The new chapel mausoleum is very nice. A beautiful place.
Cindy Baker: Cemetery is in terrible condition. Graves collapsing, not mowed. We were robbed there. Beware as the office told us it wasn't the first time someone had been robbed there. Don't go there alone.
Mamie Davis: The lady working here couldn’t tell me the kind of preneed plans they were selling. It seems like staff really doesn’t have much experience.
Faery Fire: Trees
Jade Magee: I've been in search of my 2nd great grandparents grave sites ( not buried together). I went into the office today & their staff was super helpful & sweet. I had my toddler with me & they were fast & knowledgeable. They looked up my loved ones & brought out a map & also gave me a Xerox copy to take along. Mr Jim Woods went above and beyond to help me locate these relatives in the really old parts if the cemetery. He drove up to the first stop & met me there got out and we looked together. 😊. Then he marked with flags along my next stop to my g.pas location. So helpful!!! Very pleased. Thank you all so much.
Jerushas toybox Spoiler of war: Great place to die!Man #1: Bring out yer dead, bring out yer dead. Man #2: here’s one for you.Man #3: I’m not dead yetMan 2 he’ll be stone dead in a momentMan 1 I can’t take him on the cart if he’s aliveMan 3 I feel happyMan 2 please can you make an exception?Man 3 I think I’ll go for a nice walkMan 1 well (knocks out man #3) I guessMan 2 loads man 3’s body onto cart
Daliah West: Beautiful cemetery. My mom was laid to rest here. She chose a mausoleum space facing the sunrise. The mausoleum they have is beautiful. The service they provided was above and beyond. All of the funeral counselors and service coordinators were great. They all were kind patient and compassionate as we went through the details of choosing a casket, location and time of the service etc. My husbands Granny was buried in Leavenworth cemetery but we were able to arrange to use the mausoleum chapel for her visitation. It is such a beautiful place. We were so comforted knowing we could provide Granny the beautiful service she deserve. If I’m not buried here I definitely want them to take care of the visitation and service for me.
Marcie Franklin: Someone vandalized my grandpas headstone... took the bronze base and all... office didn't care, in fact I asked about insurance for a claim for it to be replaced and the guy told me sorry it doesn't cover it..... in the morning I will make a police report .... very very upsetting!!!
Melodie Johnson: Storms knocked out a bridge inside the cemetery over 2 years ago and it's still not fixed. The rock walls around the perimeter are crumbling and not being repaired. My parents chose this location in the 60's to be their final resting place and now that they are there, so sad it's not being maintained.
