Dr. Tiffany S. Musick, DO: what do users think?
Jon Scott: Our kids love her; we love the great care.
Kay Owens: My son loves her! she listens to him and understands how he is feeling. She has always been kind and understanding. She works on helping you feel good about the treatment plans.
Kaleb McCoy: super rude and probably wont refill your prescriptions even if its whats keeping you alive... like insulin. Would give her 0 stars if i could, she needs to be fired.

Children's Mercy Adele Hall Campus: what do users think?
Amy Gay: Amazing people they helped save my son another reason we are moving closer
Carman Meade: Great nurses and service. The cafeteria is horrific. The times when different stations is open is inconsistent. I was told it is all based on staffing. Often food in coolers is out dated. Cafeteria staff need a strong course on customer experience and professional behavior. I would think a hospital where each patient mostly has at least one guest could be better than this.
Christa Hedberg: I went to go see my MS doctor; Tyler Allison. He is the best doctor you will ever have. He has great answers to your questions or concerns. I have been seeing him twice a year for 4 years. Children’s Mercy is one of the best places to take your child for their medical needs. Thank you to all the kind staff there for all they have done for me. I appreciate it!
Marcus Miller: Joelle Guthrie in the behavioral sciences department is amazing with her patient support and communication!
Chrisy Fairman: Horrible staff they act like high schoolers who has nothing going on that they have to start rumors and they refused to stitch my daughter up until we talked to CSP because there was a rumor going around we abused our daughter CPS said they didn’t see any concerns. grow up and do your jobs!!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SMH
Davon Beachy: Easily the best hospital experience we have ever had. We have been there twice for open heart surgeries for our child. The caring atmosphere and compassionate culture are second to none. I am amazed that a hospital of this size can maintain such a positive culture. I’ve been to other hospitals that are ok or even good, but the care at Childrens Mercy was above and beyond!
Jake Huppe: Our son was diagnosed with spina bifida at our 20 week ultra sound and we spent every week since at CMH in the fetal health center and my wife even delivered there. Everyone in fetal health and neurosurgery is PHENOMENAL! We give them 5 stars. Our problem is with 4 West. Our son is currently 4 weeks old and we have stayed there overnight twice after neurosurgeries and it’s the same stuff with different staff. None of the nurses seemed to know anything about our son. The first nurse was trying to calm him down by patting him aggressively on the lower back. If you knew anything about him or spina bifida, you’d know he has a big wound right where you’re hitting him and you’re hurting him. Every staff member seems shocked when we mention that we have to cath him every 6 hours. Again, if you read anything about him or knew about spina bifida at all, this wouldn’t be surprising. We had an instance where our son was screaming after eating and it was clear he was in pain. He also had an IV in his leg and his leg had swollen to the point where it was solid as a rock. We told one of the nurses who was just sitting at the desk looking at her phone and she said she’d let our nurse know. It wasn’t until about an hour later, we went back out to the nurses station after our son had projectile vomited and we found our nurse just having a casual conversation with the other nurses. Then, everyone rushed into our room and finally took care of him.Shortly after, I listened through the door and heard the nurses talking about us and laughing, making fun of us for being concerned when his monitor was going off. Our nurse jokingly said, “I should’ve turned his vitals off while I was in there.” There were other things said that we’re simply unprofessional and not warranted at all.My wife and I are pretty passive people and don’t raise a big fuss over things, but when our newborn is projectile vomiting, screaming, and swollen solid for over an hour, we expect a little more urgency. The entire 4 west staff is horrible and needs to do a better job of actually knowing about their patients. It’s not hard to find his records- he has been seen here since 20 weeks before he was born. It’s so sad because I know this is a great hospital and not every unit is like this.
Jerry Kelsey: We made the mistake of going to Dr. Horii and Children's Mercy in Kansas City. Initially we were told by our pediatrician that our daughters hemangiomas were not a cause for concern until they reached a total of 9. Our daughter had 6. Out of precaution, we went to see a dermatologist specialist (Dr. Horii).Upon arrival they were surprised to see a healthy baby girl and expected her to be very sickly (did they mix up the children?) Dr. Horii told us actually 5 or more hemangiomas were a cause for concern. She had us take X-rays of our daughter to make sure she was okay internally. The X-rays came back as innumerable and apparently unable to be counted because there was so many.We then were referred to go see a cardiologist to see if she was healthy enough to be put on blood pressure medication to treat the hemangiomas. We were skeptical at this point. The cardiologist questioned the need for treatment because he could not see any on her liver. At some point we saw an Angela Tendick who seemed to keep trying to schedule follow ups and keep us (spending money) with Children’s Mercy. We had moved to Wichita so she set us up with a doctor from children’s mercy there who also told us that he could not see any hemangiomas on the X-ray.My wife got a job in Hutchinson with good local insurance. Hutchinson confirmed that our daughter did not have hemangiomas. Angela Tendick did a zoom call with us and tried to tell us that Hutchinson was not equipped with the proper equipment to see these. At that point we realized they were innumerable because they didn’t exist and could not be counted. The billing at children’s mercy is also one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We received bill after bill for what we thought we had paid or insurance had covered. The billing department was unhelpful because they had turned us over to collections without any phone call or mail saying we had anything overdue. When we called they couldn’t help because it was out of their hands. Thousands of dollars wasted and we continue to get bills from children’s mercy even though it’s been 9 months since we have had work done. Something is truly corrupt in this money pit you call a hospital. Nothing helpful came from this place, just wasted time and money.Edit: I forgot to mention that weeks before we were turned into collections that my wife called and was told that we had paid everything off. Also, after this whole mess she was frustrated and asked to just pay it all off at once so we wouldn’t have to deal with them anymore. So how are we receiving bills after that and we haven’t been to children’s mercy since?
Rafaela Abdulmassih ferreira: Never in my life I have seen such bad ER, I have been waiting for more than 6 hours with my 2 yrs old daughter, they just said to me that still has 10 more in the line! Where are the doctors????? Huge structure, looks beautiful inside, but they are missing the basic! Where are the doctors, the children are suffering, … I will never recommend this hospital for anyone. There is no human being responsibility. Can not believe that in a country like that this could be possible!
Valerie Ma: We LOVE this hospital and today I had the most amazing experience over the phone with Danielle from billing. She was so patient and kind, taking the time to research and help me understand our bill that I was more than happy to pay it!
Kim Miller: It is going to take 5 months to get a MRI of my son’ chest and brain because it is a 3 hour procedure with anesthesia . This does not seem like a reasonable timeframe. This is after many other issues we have had. 10 years ago I was proud to have CMH care for my kiddo. It does not seem like they value him or his wellbeing. I called the patient advocate line and no one returned my call. Can CMH staff other locations with anesthesia??
Rockie: Nice facility with easy parking access.
Donald Smith: Very unprofessional treatment. Felt very disrespected and treated reduculously. Would recommend going somewhere else if at all possible.
Kristen Burts: My daughter got really sick and was transferred here from Joplin. She was so well taken care of by all staff. I would recommend this hospital for sure.
nich H: Absolutely the slowest hospital I’ve ever been to for emergencies. I do not recommend coming to the emergency services here unless ur child is seen here regularly. We waited almost 7hrs for a prescription for antibiotics to be sent to Walgreens. They didn’t even give him any while we were there. Terrible experience everytime we come here. I suggest brookside medical center
Heather Parsons: This hospital's er is a joke. Brought my son in with BREATHING PROBLEMS and they let him sit in the er waiting room while taking a child who came in with a tummy ache before seeing him. This place already killed one of my kids and now they are trying to take a second one from me.
shenicka lowe: Children's mercy use to be very easy to communicate with. Here lately it's difficult to get things done. Like a physical form complete after a well child exam. When you call you receive different information about the same issue. My son's provider offered him a helmet and we didn't receive it. I'm highly disappointed with the quality of care we've been receiving lately.
Amy Sanders: My son was cared for with patience and love.
Rachel Morgan: I recently took my child to get some lab work done that we were told would take about an hour. From the time we were brought back for the testing, Tawny was patient, explained the process well, friendly, and even had a tablet available for my son (it was early and I forgot to bring entertainment with us).He was apprehensive about the needle, and she moved so quickly that he barely knew what was happening. I've never seen someone find a vein that expertly. His previous experience with a blood draw was difficult, so just wanted to thank her for our experience and let the facility know she is doing a great job. Also, both of my kids have been seeing Dr. Tam-Williams for a few years now. She has always been funny, sunny, explains things thoroughly, and is patient to be sure I understand things fully. She really takes her time during each visit. As of late we've been needing extra information. She and her nurses have been exceptional at communicating through the portal quickly and thoroughly the multiple times I've contacted them.We are very appreciative of the staff we have encountered so far at Children's Mercy.
Joe Yakopec: Words can't describe how awesome this place is for care. My 10 year old daughter needed emergency surgery and the care that everyone provided was amazing. From the janitors to every doctor the service, care, transparency, and facility were amazing.i hope I never have to come back but I wouldn't want any other place taking care of my little girl.Don't eat at the cafeteria however. The food and food choices aren't very good and the rude staff was even worse.
TeArra Porter: Not satisfied with the service this week at all, dirty room and even longer wait than usually.

Children's Mercy Clinics on Broadway: what do users think?
Bea Tobler: They do not respect your constitution right security is terrible smart mouth A-holes unless u want to fight stay from this racist place
Amber King: Lol lmbo ok took the post down lol a long time.
Bre Redmond: Dr. Schow is amazing
Veronica Gurrola: Had an appointment for both of my kids and I arrived 15 mins early and checked in. They called me to the window (purple clinic, black girl in registration 1 I think her name is Sheila) said they needed me to sign papers and consents (this was at the time my appointment was scheduled) She said I should have done it at home never read anywhere it was required. She was upset because I had to do them at her window and she couldn't take her personal phone call. I finished one and she said if I didn't hurry with the second she would cancel my second appointment because I was "wasting their time" She then got up and walked to the back to take her phone call. I sat down and she received another call where she was being load and you could hear her whole conversation. I have now waited +30 mins to even get called back in there yet she had me rush while doing my intake paperwork. This has seriously been the worse service I have ever received here. Will more than likely not come back.
Tonisha: It’s impossible to get an appointment. They will continue to tell you to call back in 2 weeks every single time that you call. It’s unsafe for the child especially those under 2 who need routine appointments often and shots need to be done on schedule. And if you come a few minutes late they cancel your appointment altogether. Children’ Mercy just isn’t what it used to be. We are seeking another Pediatrician.
K'Lyn Hardy: After calling for months on end trying to schedule an appointment (check-up suggested by Dr.) and being told to call back in 2 weeks since all slots are filled, I will be looking to switch to another pediatric center. The staff is by far really nice, informative and helpful, but it’s becoming a waste of time to call so often to be told to call back in 2 weeks.I just called another pediatric center and was able to get my baby an appointment that is less than 5 days away.Hopefully they can get they’re scheduling system together sooner than later… that’s the biggest inconvenience.
Phyllis Hardwick: I love the facility and staff. My son received great care here. Unfortunately getting routine appointments has become impossible and we are being forced to switch clinics. When you call in (as soon as you are allowed to for your next appointment because you can't book far in advance) they will tell you everything is filled. They can't even give you an appointment date, instead will tell you to keep calling back. While I have the privilege of job flexibility and being able to do so, my heart breaks for the parents that are not so fortunate. By comparison, I called an affiliate office on the plaza and was able to book an appointment in five minutes within my son's window. While I'm sure COVID has impacted their staffing levels, they should begin recommending their families to different facilities. It's in the community's best interest. If your kiddo is under the age of 2, and you want them to stay up to date on their vaccine schedules, I would recommend finding another clinic for routine care. The doctors and nurses here are amazing! It is not their fault. The hospital administration, however, needs to make some system adjustments because they are not serving the community with the current messaging.
Loren Jones: Nice location
Dacey Bledsoe: My recommendation is solely based on Lydia in the audiology department at the Broadway location. She was absolutely wonderful. I had to bring my baby in for a hearing test today. The schedulers did not tell me an info about the test, so I didn’t know not to let me baby sleep or how long it would take, so my boy was fighting sleep and Lydia was so incredibly patient! I also had to bring my almost two year old with me, because I didn’t have someone to watch her and Lydia kept her entertained by watching her favorite show and coloring with her while we waited for little man to fall asleep. She also scooped my baby girl up and held her while she ran the test. Incredible woman! I don’t know if you know how challenging life with two under two can be sometimes, but Lydia made it so much easier for me. Her kindness moved me to tears. The love and patience she showed my babies and I today just touched me to my core. Thank you, Lydia! I wish you all the best and I hope they give you a RAISE! 💕
Tracy Z.: They are awesome! very caring nurses and the best doctors!
Mike Watkins: Our daughter had an Amoxicillin "challenge" at the allergy clinic that consisted of taking a small oral dose of the medicine and waiting 3 hours. We saw the Doctor 5 minutes two separate times and a nurse checked every 15-30 mins. No other tests, ect. For all of this they charged $1500. Seriously. When I asked how they justified that, they gave a boilerplate answer saying a 3rd party reviews their rates every year. Will not be taking our kids back to CMH or it's affiliated clinics again.
Pinky Gwynn: Move very fast
Ana Vick: I have been seen here for years, I recently started having pains near my gallbladder. I had an ultrasound done Monday 07/26, was told I should hear back no later then Thursday 07/29 and if I do not hear, I should call in. I called in and to my surprise my results were not in because the Dr. reviewing them is on vacation... I am in physical pain and they didn't even attempt to call and let me know I would be waiting longer then the 2 and 1/2 days...Not to mention I had to go in three times complaining of the same pain and pretty much had to BEGG! them to schedule an ultrasound, even after mentioning every female on my mothers side has had their gallbladders removed during the first second and third appointment. My thing is do you guys really only have one Dr. to review ultrasounds? hmm.. ok
Amanda Eisenreich: Eye appt for my 3 month old child... Appt at 10:15am.. it is now 11:30am and still waiting to see a Dr... Ridiculous. No consideration for newborn's here. Be prepared to bring bottles, toys, pacifiers, etc to keep your baby happy while having an appt here.
Rosa: Poor Customer service each time I have called. And CM in general is not doing a good job on communicating with parents about new rules. They’re also pushing kids care further back. I called to schedule a check up and was told I had to wait 2 months to see a pediatrician they specifically want. I told them I want to see a different one so I can go in sooner I was told “we’re not doing that, you need to stay with the same doctor and there’s nothing available till July” not liking this location.
Maria Parton: Always great doctors here
Hayder Kakai: Can't book an appointment by the phone. Always waiting and at the end kick me out of the phone. You need better registration process. Worst experience ever.
Perla Cazares: I took my teen daughter there to get well child check I was happy and atmosphere the hospital is nice looking the doctor seem pretty nice till she start asking personal question and almost feel like I have no privacy or boundaries she very observant watching the way I talk or move my hands that makes me uncomfortable and the ask me to step outside wait for an hour I m like what it dont make no sense I feel like I am bieng discriminated I have I waited two hours
Maribel Hernandez: Very professional with kids, kind doctors and nurses, but l don't recomend it to go there for a flu vaccine very very long wait find different place.
J T: We have been to several children's mercy clinics over the years. Everyone is filled with kind, knowledgeable professionals and the clinic on Broadway is no exception. We are so lucky to have such a great facility close by!
Sara Arendale: I was at children’s mercy Broadway today nursing my newborn, feeling pretty comfortable, not worrying about a cover considering I was at a children’s hospital, until someone from the desk felt it was necessary to bring me a blanket to cover up and said “children don’t need to be seeing that.” Now, I realize people get accustomed to societal norms and I know that what I was doing is perfectly legal but the stigma needs to stop and I think children’s mercy should be a leader in that. Breastfeeding rates in the US are low, especially in Missouri, even though breast milk is the best food for babies. Its this notion about breasts being sexual objects that creates this shame instead of recognizing them for what they are physiologically made for ie, feeding babies. In that regard, breastfeeding is exactly what children need to see. They need to grow up with the image of a mother breastfeeding her baby being just that. It needs to be so normalized that they don’t think it’s awkward. I don’t like to be stared at or feel weird or ashamed. I just want to feed my baby without having to worry. Breastfeeding was less taboo in the Victorian era, the most modest era of all time, so if you think breastfeeding looks provocative, you should feel weird, not me.I also had a pediatrician from there tell me I needed to stop tandem feeding my toddler and newborn because the milk is made according to age and one of the babies was being deprived of nutrients, which wasn’t true.I love you Children’s Mercy but you really need to work on the breastfeeding issues with your employees.
