Deylyn Villalobos: I used to love my doctor and this clinic a few years back. Unfortunely I went in again a few months ago to get accutane as I have painful and cystic acne. Not a single person reached out to me or quest diagnostics to tell us that my labs were never received when I got them done. The phone goes straight to voicemail as well and I didn’t have time to go in person until this week. I finally got an appointment and spoke to someone after going in person and asking what the issue was. Once again my provider didn’t reach out for two days. I had to make an appointment for a urine test and paperwork that is delaying my start date for the medication which is ridiculous considering the last two times that I did these in office a nurse or assistant was the one to handle it anyways. They claim they have a high turnover which I why I ‘fell through the cracks’. I personally saw it as a poor excuse as this is medically necessary and whether they lost employees or not shouldn’t justify my provider (Singh & Caldwell) forgetting about me. Who knows, they might finally reach out after this review but it won’t change the fact that I’m sitting here in pain and discomfort while hating my skin for an extra month due to her negligence. Luckily I don’t pay out of pocket but I’m definitely going to call my insurance and tell them that my last appointment did nothing for me and they failed to provide me with proper care. If you want to stick to KMC, pick another provider. Honestly you’d be better off picking another one of their locations that actually answers their phone. I wish I could but I have to settle with them for now. Will update after I see my new provider.
Smiles Smiles: My Dr referred me to KMC dermatology. KMC called while I was at work to schedule my appointment. I have called a couple of times a day to schedule my appointment and NO ones answers the phone ever! Hope noone has a seriously issue trying to go here, they won't answer your calls.
Leslie Vargas: I called regarding some painful eczema that my 7 year old had. He was in tears from the pain and they got us in the very next day. They were very good and I was very grateful they were so caring about my son being in pain. We were treated very well.
Jeyson Botello: I had an appointment and rearranged my day for that appointment only to find out it had be canceled with out me knowing. They couldn’t even offer to get me in or anything.
Paula Brooks: This was one of the worst experiences of my life. A biopsy was taken of a sore (I had multiple). It showed I was allergic to a medicine. So, they took labs which medicare did not approve. It took forever to get results only to be told NOT meds and I need to see an allergist. They were slow to answer questions and never gave a straight answer. So, here I am still with multiple spots all over my body and no answers. I will say that on my own I stopped most of my meds resulting in No new bumps. However, I still don't know which one is the culprit. If you have real issues, DO NOT GO HERE!

Pamela Greathouse: I see Amanda Caldwell here & in Leawood..I will follow her wherever she goes. She is THE BEST IN DERMATOLGY PATIENT CARE!!! She helps with skin and aging issues for me like no other Dr. I have been to plastic surgeons, dermatologists & P.A.'s but have never found anyone that takes care of patient needs & concerns like HER. I have red hair, blue eyes and fair skin which for me means Rosacea, Pre-cancer spots, Basal Cell carcinoma, red spots, & hyperplasia. Aging is just "BRINGING IT ON" in abundance! I WISH NOW, I had not worshiped the sun with baby oil! Amanda offers treatments to help MY SKIN ISSUES that are current & ARE, as least invasive as possible. She is easy to ask any & all questions. I am never rushed. Her nurse Kelli is FABULOUS and available whenever I need questions answered! Kelli promptly returns phone calls too! THANK YOU SO MUCH Amanda, Kelli & KMC!!

Rachel Barbour: I saw Amanda Caldwell today & so far impressed... for years I've been asking provider after provider about the bumps and irritation all over my body they all said normal its just me. She barely looked at it and diagnosed and gave me meds to try! I really hoping the treatment works!!

Jeff Roy: I scheduled an appointment for the Independence office and was immediately greet by Sammi. I cannot explain how helpful she was with the paperwork and how comforting and reassuring she made me feel as I was nervous about the visit. Amber took me back to my room and could not have been nicer as she took my vitals and we talked about my concerns. Amanda was amazing as she explained some pre - cancerous conditions on my forehead. She treated them with liquid nitrogen and helped me understand what I needed to do in the future to prevent outbreaks. As I left, Sammi once again greeted me with a smile and scheduled my appointment for a year out. As somebody who has a family history of skin cancer, I finally feel like I have found a home. More importantly, I now understand the steps I need to take to prevent it from happening to me and the importance of yearly checkups.
Lynn Arnold: I have been to see Dr. James Allen twice now and my condition has improved remarkably in a 2 week time period. He quickly diagnosed my problem and treated me aggressively because I was in a lot of pain. I highly recommend this team. The nurses and front office were also excellent.

Sarah Krumsick: Privacy was not maintained in the office. My daughter was naked and the nurse opened the door multiple times without a curtain or a sheet to protect my child. The treatment was much more intense than explained.

Jacki Snyder: Dr. Douglas and her entire staff were amazing with my teenage daughter. We appreciate the professionalism and kindness. This could have been a stressful visit, but their kindness eased my daughter during her procedure.
Laura Melvin: I initially gave a five star review but that was after our first appointment and things changed drastically from there. I took my daughter in to see Dr. Douglas regarding a small lump on her upper back. We scheduled a second appointment for the removal and biopsy and during that time the doctor made the comment that she didn’t get it all but it should be fine. A few weeks later the bump started growing back. We went back in and Dr. Douglas then said it was a keloid and suggested treating it with cortisone shots. She was pretty aggressive while giving the shots and totally traumatized my daughter with all the pain. The cortisone shots didn’t work and we went back in and she told us we will have to have another appointment to try to remove the entire lump. She also made sure to tell me that her office also does procedures to help with scaring but that is considered a cosmetic procedure. She is the reason my daughter has the nasty scar to begin with. After all these appointments my daughter is left with a bump still, a nasty scar from the first removal attempt and is now scared to go for any more treatments.
wendy schaffer-nash: Dr. Douglas was awesome. My teen had battled acne and exzema for well over a year. Dr. Douglas cleared both up and her skin looks beautiful.
Rachel Watson: Had a great first visit today. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere helped my child feel safe and calm. Dr. Douglas was very kind and knowledgeable. She treated my son's molluscum efficiently and provided me with answers to all my questions. Would definitely recommend her!

Dr. Douglas explained her treatment every step of the way so my daughter knew exactly what to expect. Prior to finding Dr. Douglas we tried treating the molluscum with homeopathic remedies. We did it for months, years without success. It was incredibly frustrating for my daughter and me. Today, thanks to Dr. Douglas, my daughter’s skin condition has FINALLY resolved! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Dr. Douglas!
