Alzheimer's Association: what do users think?
Amy Ramses: Went for a support group with art projects for the patient, my loved one didnt adjust well is what they told me. She is smart and high functioning but, they let a confused upset alz patient leave , group . Upset that it was dangerous for her and they had professionals who couldn't make a bit of painting fun. The Couple of times that I have dealt with the people in the office for help it's also been hit-and-miss I call sometimes they lose my information , or I call other times and they have some amazing person who follows up. Have to say so far however got more information and help from AARP or Place For Mom but it's a complicated disease and I'm sure they are doing their best.
Linda P: If anyone in your family is struggling with any of the forms of dementia or Alzheimer's disease, you will find no better source of information and assistance than the Alzheimer's Association. They have been life-saving for our family. Don't wait until things are out of control. Contact them today!
Denise Murphy: If you need help or information about this terrible disease, this is a good place to start. They have a lending library, as well as books to buy. They have group meetings both for caregivers and for those who have the disease. Lots to learn here. And, the association being a non profit, they can always use volunteers.
John Mehl: They were a great deal of help in assisting me.
jojo Hylton: Mom loves her time that she spends here Making Memories 🇺🇸😀💝🎨🎷🎸
Janeen Johnson: Great staff! Michelle was very helpful in providing resources and direction to my family during a very difficult time in our lives.
