Meghan Ashley: The glass broke in my grandfather's harley showcase shadow box. I took it in for replacement glass and not only did it take the gentleman 3 minutes to fix, but he didn't even charge me! He even cleaned the felt for me for free. He was very professional and very friendly. 5 stars across the board. Highly recommend!
Riley Callahan: I've attempted to stop by twice after work and they've been close both times even though the website and window sign says 5pm. I made it there 30 to 45 minutes before closing each time.

Michael S: Be on the lookout for ghosts in the gallery! 👻The Darkwood House Gallery is an amazing place to shop for art and to experience an unique atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else in the area.It is a very welcoming place with an active and friendly community to get to know during the many events they host each month.Regular events such as 3rd Fridays bring in talented artists selling all sorts of masterful pieces and monthly movie nights are a fun way to see and discuss classic horror movies. They even have ghost story nights!Definitely check out their growing calendar of art courses being taught by professional artists covering topics like sewing, taxidermy, crochet, assemblage art, writing and more!Don't miss Ezra October's tailor and clothing shop upstairs either!!

brandy lee: I would tell anyone and everyone to visit this gallery. The ever evolving art on display, interesting decor and eerie ambiance come together to create a truly magical setting. I particularly enjoyed having my tarot cards read at a third Friday event. Independence is incredibly fortunate to have such a unique venue and the people behind it.
Andrew Kinzie: Wonderful place, lots of good atmosphere. Friendly people. I found some antique wooden carved headhunter statuettes that I had to have and gained some knowledge from a Friendly reader.
John Shemwell: I absolutely adore this place. The owner is wonderful and the place is full of beautiful art and oddities. I have never managed to leave without finding something delightful to take home!
Taylor Caven: Darkwood House is my favorite gallery I've ever been too. Full curiosities and the most gorgeous dark art I've ever seen. They have everything from taxidermy, antiques, chilling photography, original artwork, to books on every macabre subject. I LOVE this gallery. The owner is so knowledgeable and kind. Perfect for those who enjoy things a bit on the dark side! Highly recommend!!They even have classes to make your own piece of dark art and other events every month!
