Sam Glasco: Wonderful paint store. Walked in and asked for a match on some stain and the shaved bald man with glasses helping us told us they were packed with orders and it wouldn’t be done until at least tomorrow. I understood completely and walked away ready to leave. On my way out I was looking at the pre mixed stains and the man came back over to help try and find me one that would work for the job I was doing. Very generous with his time and a very nice man. This man does his job with a smile on his face and we will be shopping at spectrum paint more after this experience. Also I would like to mention the air conditioning in this place is fantastic!

Callie Forsyth: I went in looking for a few Benjamin Moore color cards and left with a wealth of color tools, knowledge and access. My usual process is to go grab my color cards from this location, give them to my customers and allow them to choose what brand of paint they purchase. Up until my last visit, I had trouble getting employees here to help me find samples, make product recommendations or give me project guidance. This is not the case anymore. I walked in being greeted by not one but two employees. The new manager, Christopher, came out and helped me find the cards I needed and walked me through how to order larger samples through both PPG and Benjamin Moore’s websites. He and his assistant manager then spoke to me regarding several products to fit my customers demands. I stated before that my usual process is to allow my customers to choose the paint that they want but after my experience with Spectrum and Benjamin Moore Paint, they will have my recommendation every time.

Ramses Solis: Manager at this store has the worst attitude. She doesn't let you (as a customer - we pay your salary! -) use the bathroom anymore. There are silly signs all over the place like don't use your phone to place order.

Harmony Bridner: Employees here were very unhelpful and unwilling to tint without a receipt of purchase from Sherwin Williams. You are way better off going to the Sherwin-Williams store on 63rd. The service there is wonderful and they were more than happy to help me get my paint tinted.

Ken Keller: I don't believe in the supposed *perfect 10* rating, so I gave my recent experience at my local Sherwin-Williams paint store in Independence MO a "9" rating. The store's staff that I dealt with, both by phone and in the store, were professional, knew their product, and fulfilled my 10 gallon Emerald Satin-Finish exterior paint order without an issue. When I returned to the store for my ready order, they promptly loaded the 10 individual gallons in my Toyota RAV4 crossover. I certainly can't ask for more than that from a brick-and-mortar store transaction.Note: I used Sherman-Williams Emerald Satin-Finish Exterior because of Consumer Reports very recent high rating (they always put all tested paints though its full paces over an accelerated time frame). While it was by far the most expensive per gallon--even on sale!--of CR's three top-rated exterior paints, the Emerald Satin-Finish also came recommended by several different (unknown to each other) professional house painters of my acquaintance. That finally sealed the deal for me. The true test will be, of course, if your Emerald paint lasts as long as my previous exterior satin-latex--13 years! My new paint job has just been completed and the clock is now running...
