Bonnie House: This historic building on the Independence Square is a beautiful United Methodist Chirch. I rate it 4 rather than 5 stars because as an older building it has accessibility issues. There is an elevator with a small anteroom, that can be taken to any level of the church and there are other entrances with stairs. I have found members here to be friendly and helpful.
K. L.: Came here for a funeral. It is a large church with large open areas in front & in the sanctuary. Very clean and feels comforting. Well-maintained building.

Nancy Peck: I was visiting the area and was able to attend 2 services. I loved both services. The praise team was simply amazing. Pastor Mike gave a wonderful message. Pastor Freddy also delivered a good word the night before. If I lived in that area Christ United Methodist would definitely be my place of worship.
Jackie Laffoon: CUMC is not just a church, it is a fellowship of believers coming together. To build each other up and support each other in our walk of faith. Great place to call our church home and family.

Matthew “Tink” Schrock: 1-8-2023: While I'm unable to speak on whether or not their worship services are any good or not, I can say that their food bank isn't all that bad. Although I personally believe that they could get a whole lot faster if they'd change the way they do it. But idk I just don't understand why they don't have a line and you pull up, tell them how many is in your home and they give you whatever, but instead you wait in line to get a ticket and then you wait in line to get to another person who has a walkie talkie who then tells a person who's on the opposite side of their small parking lot how many you have in the home and they bring a bag and place it in your vehicle. Kinda pointless and drawn out of you ask me

Mary Jane Tyra: I use their food pantry twice a year. It is wheelchair accessible. The people are great and don't look down on you. You get to pick out what you want from a list and they count it, bag it, and you take it home. I have NEVER gotten anything from there I did notlike. You need to call ahead because food pantry is only on Tuesday and Thursday each week. They also have a clothes closet if you need anything like that. It is up the stairs so if in a wheelchair take someone with you who can bring you things to look at.
