Ariel Quenneville: I work for a small machine shop in Carthage MO, and up until very recently A-Luster has been our main Black Anodizing vendor. We have never had a problem with this companies quality before today.But today we received 5 expensive aluminum parts from them that were severely damaged with gouging and nicking all along the bottom and the edges. After contacting A-Luster to tell them that our customer would not take parts in this kind of condition, I was told point blank that A-Luster would not take responsibility for the damage.Even after insisting that we would never allow a part to leave in that kind of condition, and bringing up the point that if they HAD arrived in that kind of condition A-Luster's technician of 30 years of experience would surely have noticed the damage and contacted us first before proceeding with the project, they insisted that the parts had arrived like that and the damage was on our side. I even offering to show them pictures of the product before it left us, but they refused to look at them.As a result, our small business took a huge loss on these parts, and needless to say we will not be using A-Luster again. If you plan on doing business with them I suggest that you take extensive pictures of every part that you send them before you send it, and hope they actually look at them if a question of quality comes up.
