Arthur Freeland: Interesting experience today. Went in to try on a 18" 32-33" dress shirt. Had already seen that MW carried it online ("Calvin Klein Infinite Non-Iron slim fit stretch collar"). There were none that size in stock, and when they tried to order it they told me it was "no longer made" in that size. I came back home and ordered it online from Men's WearHouse. Website took my money and told me it will be here in six days.*and that precise shirt arrived in three days from Men's Wearhouse and fits perfectly. Not sure why they couldn't order from their own catalog/inventory.

Continue to hire Independence White trash and I expect your Independence branch to go under just like Independence center! Good luck but I'd definitely choose a different location! Independence and their stores are not the same anymore!

An employee named Rho came over to help, I don't wear suits very often so I thought I knew what I wanted, Rho was very helpful in finding everything I needed and I decided to let her choose other accessories for me, She put me in a suit that was so much sharper than I would have picked myself, Thanks Rho and to the tailor Mr Wallace who was so nice and professional most definitely be back.

The salesman at this store determined that the cut was wrong for him and helped him to find a better cut and fit that will need minimum alterations. Julia Carter: Worse experience ever with a seamstress measuring.....measuring tape was twisted several times and I had to tell her to fix it.. she didn't even come close to putting the tape in the right stops...ie....waist, hips, hallow of my neck...i had to set it in the right stop..AND THIS IS SUPPOST TO BE HER JOB...... sent my measurements off to the dress maker and she calls me and tells me those measurements are completely off and to go somewhere else because they aren't even close. Needless to say, I will never go here again.

Now a week later they were still not done and she never called to let me know. So I drive 45 min to her shop just to wait a few hours for them to be finished! Mark Lyon: Had two shorts hemmed and was charged $26.00. Was going to use my credit card but found out she charges an extra 3 per cent. Recieved a text this morning that my shorts were done. I thanked her, showed up ten minutes early and thought, "That's okay, I'll wait.". 10am arrived. No one yet. I called and she said", "I'll be there in ten minutes.". She did shiw up 8 min later. I don't know what the price of alterations are but I hope I got a good deal?

Amanda Smith: I needed to get some patches put on my sons' Taekwondo uniforms quickly so they wouldn't have to miss classes while the work was being done. Another place I checked with was going to cost twice as much for it to be "rushed" and it was still going to take a few days. I was able to get the patches done at Shareen's same day and at no extra cost! The patches look great too!

Shelby Brim: Shareen altered three separate bridesmaids' dresses for me within the last year. No just traditional hems either. I've changed the straps, widened the bust, added material, etc. She seemed "unaltered" by anything I bring and has it done within a week and at a reasonable price too.

Locally-owned, perfect service and communication skills, wonderful people. Don't throw your favorite clothes or shoes away before bringing it to them first.

Christopher Smith: Save those old clothing items! Brought an old jacket back to life for much less than what a new one would cost. Pricing seems reasonable to me. Location is what I imagine a clothing repair shop should look like: clothes and fabric everywhere with seamstresses diligently working. I plan on returning in the future.

Bruce is super kind and compassionate and went above and beyond getting me everything I needed for my wedding.To put it into perspective, I paid around $190 for my suit. For a friend's wedding, I had to pay $300 FOR A RENTAL. Not to mention the suit from Slabotskys fit like a DREAM and is good quality.

The quality was incredible, service was absolutely amazing, and they were true to their word regarding timelines. As a warning, they do not take appointments and weekends get pretty busy. I recommend going during the week! But 1000% recommend for any groom/groomsmen needs!

I was shocked, and skeptical when I found out there was a local business that offered reasonably priced suits everyone could keep. Throughout our process of acquiring the suits, the staff and owner(s) at Slabotskys treated us as well as I could’ve asked. I always saw the same familiar faces when I came in, and they were always happy to answer my questions. We didn’t need any last-minute alterations or fittings, but they assured me they could make it work if we needed them. They offered two last-minute fittings if we had anyone from out of town, but luckily we didn’t need to take advantage. The suits were very affordable, around $200 for a three-piece suit and shirt, but everything was very high quality. My husband seriously can’t wait to wear his suit the next chance he gets. Everyone looked fantastic in their suits and were shocked they got to keep them. I cannot recommend Bruce and his business enough.

I normally hate shopping for clothes, but the experience here was focused and got me exactly what I wanted without hassle.In mid-2021, I got a budget suit here for $200 with the included free alterations. Good experience. Although I had to wait a 30-40 minutes on that busy weekend day (there were a few people being fitted ahead of me), they helped me find an off the rack suit I liked from their selection and got my measurements based on my preferences for fit. They had it ready with alterations in about a month. When I returned and still didn't love the fit, they fixed it in a week without charging extra.The suit I got was made of a polyester-viscose blend. They had a selection of several colors and styles, but they didn’t have any wool options.This is the first suit I've owned that I look forward to wearing on occasions that call for it. The fabric is what I expected for the price, but I am amazed at the way my suit fits for the price I paid.
