Finallypeople are wising up to the ridiculous high prices and poor customer service.As a previous customer and also involved in interior design I understand that manyof there products could be bought for a fraction of the price at good department stores.I must admit I have been holding back my own disgruntlement for several years. Theowner reflects her own narcissistic ways, thus customer service fails. She treats peopleand customer based on what they can do for her, I have never run into such an egotisticalwoman. She even post pictures only of herself from several years ago. I stoppedshopping after she insisted that she was always right. Yes the reviews from the past areexactly correct. autumn: Every single time without fail the short haired cashier is always gossiping to whatever poor girl is bagging my items that day. I have seen her yapp away to a girl carrying a large box when she clearly needed help with it and mouth off when another woman was moving things on shelves. Last week she kept answering questions that I clearly asked the young lady who was directly in front of me!😡 I try to avoid shopping on days when she is behind a register because she is always trying to fit 50 things in one bag. without double bagging! I know it has been a while since I have been in retail but I still remember enough to know this is NOT professional. I bought GLASS mugs and the second I got in my car I had to rewrap them and put them in grocery bags I already had because the only protection she gave them was a thin piece of paper she slapped on it. You could hear the glasses hitting each other when she gave me the single thin bag. it is ridiculous and I have had it! one star. last time they will ever see my dollar.

Valerie Linger: I placed an online order to pick up at the store. 25 hours later no email that my order was ready so I called the store. They had no record of my order and I was told to call online customer service. Apparently even though my order was placed it didn’t get downloaded so the store could fulfill it. I had to wait on the phone for the customer service representative to place the order again. She could not apply the 10% discount nor my $5 reward. She gave me a case number and told me it would be 3-5 days before the refund would process back to my credit card. What a hassle. I could have shopped in the store in less time. I won’t be online ordering again.
Ruthie Becker: Absolutely love World Market it is my go to for all my foreign foods. My Daidí is English/Irish and loves his yummies. Nothing like some Branston pickle with a ham and cucumber sandwich, and then have some sweets.. Licorice Allsorts, Jelly babies or a digestive biscuits !!🙂💖

For it being family owned and operated business the owner sure doesn’t stand behind customers. All they quick to do is swipe your card and get your money. That’s about it. Jodi Jacobi: Horrible customer service. Bought a blanket for my daughter, returned it, they accepted the return and then proceeded to call a few days later to say it was "soiled". My daughter never even used the blanket.We have shopped there over the years....Never again!
