Andy helped us design a beautiful backyard with addition of a tree, high quality lightening all around the house and a natural water feature that looks like it has always been there (Good Earth Water Gardens). I asked Andy to come over, and see what he could do, as there wasn't any landscaping in the backyard. He came, and in 15 or 20 minutes had a full design. Chris Robertson: It has been nearly 4 weeks since I paid a 50% deposit for some new sod to be installed and so far I have not heard anything from the company about when they might be coming to lay the sod. I am starting to be concerned that this company might be a scam. I will check back and leave an update if anyone ever contacts me regarding install.

Jenni: I would not use Arreola Lawn and Landscape for ANYTHING! The owner is unprofessional, doesn’t go by his own contract in regards to payment. He held my job hostage until he was paid in full. He also added on additional charges because his salesperson didn’t write the contract correctly, so the owner says.The only and I mean only redeeming quality about this company is the employees. The guys working on the job showed more heart and cared more about the project. Because of his employees and him subcontracting part of the work out is the only reason I am happy with the job.But because of the owner I would not recommend this company for anything.

The only real direction I could give was less grass, trimmed bushes, new mulch, and they knocked it out of the park! So much better than I imagined our yard could look and for a really competitive price! sandra randle: I hired Vivtor in 2020 to build me a retaining wall and to add dirt in it to build it up. In order to build it up, he had to remove two of my bushes and replace them. When replacing them he must not dug the hole dip enough because both of my bushes died. After notifying Vivtor in 2021 he come over and said he would replace them and gave me a time and date. He never came by nor called. I called Vivtor several times with him say I'm coming. As of today I have not heard from Vivtor. He is all about that dollar bill not the service he give. Kathleen Paulson: I had them clean up from a demo job and lay new dirt. They left numerous old cinder blocks. Had them add new gravel to drive way. They left the section in front of my garage incomplete of gravel after I was told it need more. When I reminded them of the additional gravel I was given a flimsy excuse. I would not recommend this company for any work. Their pictures look great but they cut corners all the way.

Flex Conduit: It’s been 16 months since the work has been done, so this review is over due.By far the best investment we’ve ever made in our home was hiring Victor to hardscape our yard. It has transformed the appearance of the whole property, adding undeniable value to our home and beautifying the whole intersection of the neighborhood where our home sits. Some changes and additions were made while the project was underway by both Victor and myself that I was able to negotiate at a fair price on the spot. Mine ended up an expensive job but worth every penny! I met neighbors I had never talked to before who had nothing but compliments and wanted to know who the contractor was that I used. One guy a half block down even had his landscaper copy the way Victor edged around the trees in my yard! Spencer Snodgrass: I'll begin this by saying what Victor did, the work looks good, so he gets one star for that. Now we get to the bad. We asked for natural rock edging around our house. In talking with us he recommended using plastic edging, which based one every other quote from reputable companies, was substantially cheaper. The total on every other quote was roughly $1000.I called Victor several times and he only ever explained that he "bid the job, not the linear feet". I paid $1000 more just to get this crook off my property after he did work that we were over paying for. Do not use him.

Sandra Kilpatrick: They tore my yard up really bad, breaking one of my planters, breaking my fence, were supposed to put in a pond and instead dug a hole and filled it with rocks. I made them take that out, it was supposed to help with a water drainage problem. They decided to run a pipe to the back of the yard, it did not help, that cost me another 550.00, called him back out to show that it did not help at all, now wants to run pipe across two neighbors yards to side street at the cost of 350.00 more. The patio is getting water but not the flowerbed in back and flower needs in front are not getting water. I wish that I had went with another company.

Kenneth Chatlos: When Jeff looked over our yard, I told him it was time for it to look like a lawn, something like one of our neighbor's lawns.He looked the lawn over carefully. We walked around the yard and talked, again and again, about what might be done.Since he completed his work, friends and neighbors have complemented us (and him) and how nice the lawn looks. More importantly, we really enjoy our "new" yard.What did he do?1) He put in rock gardens in the front of the house, parallel to each side of the house. And, to give these gardens some color, he planted a variety of beautiful flowers in the rocks. (He also gave us instructions on how to keep those gardens looking nice.)Similarly, he put in rock gardens, with flowers, in the back of the house, on either side of our small patio exit.2) He planted similar flowers on the most-difficult north side of the house. The large oak tree provides plenty of shade, which it makes it difficult for anything else to grow there. And, we had plenty of erosion in the same area. A near-impossible area to make nearly perfect.He also turned our grass green, and made it difficult for weeds to grow there. Nice.When Jeff first began to work on our yard, I told him that if it turned out well, or "turned into a yard," he could take pictures to show others, and I would be glad to recommend him to others who need landscaping. Les Frans: Jim and the people working for him are just great. I had yard draining issues and they buried my gutters down-pouts to run away from foundation, They also graded my yard for high spots and leveled them to improve water running down and away from home. They installed a concrete walkway in the back of house replacing stones and big flagstone paver used as a walk way. His team for the concrete was lead by an older gentlemen named Lawrence. He was one of the nicest person I have encountered in many years, This man provided ideas on how to use my flagstone paver by embedding them in the concrete. My wife was really happy when she saw the finished project. He was a good leader of his workers and they were always polite as well. Overall I'm a happy man the Keller Landscaping (Jim) kept me informed fighting all the rain we had in delaying the start of project but I t agreed with his approach and it turned out well. Curtis Filer: Jim Keller and his son Brad are true gentleman and of highest integrity. Our church, Kansas City United Church of Christ, had a major project of burying and extending all downspouts away from the foundation. Also removing old concrete walks on one side that had settled toward the church allowing water to seep under the building. New sidewalks were installed next to the church and a large patio installed which effectively drains all surface water away plus expanded our outside use for events. A walkway and patio was added to our Memorial Garden. Regrading was done and new lawn installed. The workers were polite and careful to do excellent work. We highly recommend Keller’s Landscaping and Atlantis Drainage for your drainage, landscaping and hardscape projects. Christopher Maag: I am not an easy customer to please. I paid half down in May and no one came out until July. Then, when they got the soil down, it started raining, and they left their trash all over the yard over the weekend. It was Tuesday before they came back out to finish throwing down the seed and laying the carpet. Before they finished, they left again, with trash still scattered all over. However, by the end of the day, they had the job done and everything picked up. That was a week and a half ago, and the lawn is already grown out like crazy. We’ve had some good rain, but they did some fine work, too.

Susan Jones: Kris and his team installed a flagstone circular patio in my back yard. It is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. Kris worked on the job with his crew, and their work was meticulous. Apparent that they take a great deal of pride in their work. On time, left a neat site every day, no damage to the rest of yard and followed through with everything as promised.
John Foulke: Evolving Landscapes replaced a retaining wall last fall and pulled out some overgrown bushes and replace them with new landscaping this spring. It all looks fabulous. Larry Oates: Though the work has not started yet, I wanted to do an initial review. Evolving Landscapes was the last company that I had scheduled for a landscaping quote. I thought they'd be too expensive for a smaller project, so requested a quote from them almost as an after-thought. Kris surprised me in several areas.First his suggestions were more in line with what we wanted, and he made suggestions which will enhance what we'd initially suggested.Secondly, he was VERY prompt in providing a quote and when I replied with a few questions and a few changes - he had the revised quote back to me the next day and ANSWERED the questions. There are two other Lee's Summit landscaping companies that I am still waiting (for over two weeks) for a revised quote from.Kris was also the only landscaper who provided a Landscape Picture of our property showing the suggested plants, etc.Lastly, his quote price-wise was very fair and broken down and easy to understand.Great job Kris and I highly recommend Evolving Landscapes!Several weeks later and the project is complete. The team had to remove a fairly large area of sod, lay 9 tons of river rock, bury a gutter, and plant several rose plants. I did not expect it all to be done in one day but they actually finished it in about 6 hours. Most importantly, it looks great.The next day I called Kris and we talked about one area that I wanted to do a little extra work on (adding a small amount of additional soil, seeding & covering) and he came back out as soon as he could to finish it up.
