Erin M: We finally messaged them after 40 minutes of waiting past the agreed on time for our bid appointment. He then told us that the appt was supposed to be the following day, however we had the email confirmation from him for the date and time. We then said OK we could do the following day, since he made a mistake (even though we took the day off work specifically for this meeting) because mistakes happen. Then he said he could not make the following day work either and begrudgingly agreed to come out that day.The minute he got out of his truck, his first words were "don't hold your breath, we probably won't take this job, it's too far away." Mind you he has had our address the entire time.He was condescending, incredibly rude, and told us multiple things that simply were not true. If this is the level of professionalism shown on a bid, I can only imagine what they are like once they have the job....definitely do not hire if you have a dog. my poodle (who is a certified canine good citizen and working therapy dog) sniffed his hand he said "get the F*** away from me" and raised his hand like he was going to hit her, and based on his actions I think he would have had we not been present.

Adam Diel: We have used KJ Remodeling twice. First we had a new driveway installed over Winter. The install was completed on time and the driveway looks incredible. We have even had several neighbors stop to tell us how good the driveway looks. KJ Remodeling did such a great job on our driveway, a couple months later, we rehired them to fix our deck, repair exterior siding, and to repair and repaint some interior drywall cracks. Again we were so impressed with KJ Remodeling and it feels like we are living in a new house. Kenny and the KJ Remodeling team were very professional and responsive all the way from the office staff, the crews, and the owner. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any home improvements.

Gregory Roe: We had them do a complete tear out and remodel of our master bathroom. Clint from KJ gave us the most comprehensive estimate with cost breakdowns for all work. All others bidders for the project just gave us a lump sum. Work they did included moving a toilet in the water closet, tearing out the old shower in water closet, removing a too large tub and replacing it with a giant onyx shower, changing the window in shower to glass block, removing popcorn from vaulted ceiling, painting all walls and ceiling, installing heated floor with new tile and completely replacing the vanity and mirrors. Also switched out all hardware down to the doorknobs and installed new outlets and LED mirrors. They stuck to the exact budget proposed and finished a week early. Kept everything completely clean while in the house and always made sure we had access to our walk in closet in the master bath. All work was done with the highest craftsmanship and there was nothing that they needed to come back and fix. Clint was a complete professional throughout the entire process and I can't recommend him and his crew highly enough. We will definitely be using them for future jobs. Thanks KJ!

Figured you'd have to be pretty good and reputable to use that name. From the moment I received my quote to completion of the job(s) has truly been a divine experience. They are fair, reliable, take pride in their work, very hard workers, friendly, family oriented, extremely knowledgeable in any contracting work, ensure customer satisfaction, and if I could give 10 stars I would. They worked on my remodel outdoors in the winter cold and snow. I felt sorry for them! And they were digging in the cold, hard ground! Rented machinery broke down but didnt break their stride! They follow up until work is done to your satisfaction even with some changes i asked for in the midst of the job. They clean up and make the completed job look brand spankin' new! They are my only go to contractor now! And i feel blessed to have found them. William takes pride in work being done and works to satisfy customer. Phil is great and knows contracting like the back of his hand. I am disabled and he even helped me in letting my little dog out for potty breaks! I call them my "dynamic duo". There isn't anyone that contributed to the work that was not professional and friendly and capable. I have recommended them to several friends without any hesitation. Doc and Dan devised a plan. It was complex in terms of scope of work, but they assured me it was manageable.Financial numbers and budgets were outlined. What i lacked in builder knowledge I tried to compensate by punctually completing my SKU lists and making quick selections on colors and compositions. KC Renovations took my preferences into consideration. They indulged some of my special requests; like porch screen closet doors upstairs and a dog wash station in the basement. They stopped me from making bad decisions by utilizing some of their professional contacts. My custom kitchen cabinets are glorious, my granite countertops are luxurious and the original clawfoot bathtub looks and feels brand new. Hal Fallert: My review is two-fold. One, be aware that there are multiple companies called something like KC Renovations and two, KC Renovations, Inc did an excellent job. I hired a company with a name very similar to KC Renovations to replace the railing on my deck. They installed a very solid railing but did not finish the handrail to my satisfaction. I was not able to get them back out to finish the work despite all of the phone calls, text messages and even Facebook messenger. Plenty of promises. Trying to reach them without having the contact handy I Googled KC Renovations and left a terse message regarding completing the work. Later that day Doc with KC Renovations gave me a call apologizing that he could not find me in their system. As it turns out there are multiple companies with very similar names and KC Renovations had in fact not done the work. Doc offered to come take a look at what it would take. Within 2 weeks he had finished the deck hand-rail and repaired some trim boards to complete the job.

Jake Schumann: Im very happy with how our shower turned out! We got quotes from other bathroom remodeling companies to replace our shower and everything was way outside our budget. Miracle method was much more reasonable and it made more sense to get our shower refinished because it was structurally still in good condition. Mike’s sales pitch was very low pressure and honest and his communication was great. Our installation crew did a great job. We had an issue with our grout lines showing through the plain white after it was sprayed on. They allowed us to chose a different color and we are really happy we did. I believe it is called white sands. We chose it for the tiles and base. The surface has a slight texture to it and looks absolutely beautiful. So happy we don’t have to look at our old dingy tiles and grout lines anymore.

Gail: Purchased brushed granite countertops from Alex at Sash Granite & Stone. I experienced poor communication and poor installation. He provided an estimate based on measurements I provided and I authorized him to cut the countertops. I received a call approximately a week later to schedule installation. It was not until AFTER installation did he mention the additional $1200 difference in his measurement and the initial estimate. You would think that a difference of $1200 would be worth mentioning prior to cutting and installation scheduling. Regarding Installation - The quality of the countertop seams was terrible, they weren’t level and were very visible. When you ran your hand across the seams you could feel a height difference between the 2 pieces of granite. Alex came out to inspect and stated that there was basically nothing that he could do to fix the issues (that his installers caused) on brushed granite. A reputable company would have offered to replace a poor quality product they installed. Lastly, I noticed that water was not beading up on the countertop. Which lead me to suspect that they had not sealed the countertop. Sure enough I purchased some granite sealer and applied it….. now water droplets bead up. Would definitely not use or recommend Sash Granite and Stone.

Jamie Hickey: We had Sash Group do some work in our kitchen including installing a new sink (conversion from double to single basin), hanging a cabinet, and building and installing 5 custom floating shelves. The interactions were professional and friendly, the quality of the work was fantastic, and when there was an error with the length of the shelves initially, they made it right. The work was very well done, the price was fair, and our kitchen is all the better for it. We would definitely recommending working with Alex and his crew and will absolutely call them again for future projects.

They were here when they said they’d be here. Very respectful and left everything clean. I would definitely recommend Sash Group. I was very satisfied with everything. Alex and Sanja were easy to work with and kept me up to date. Absolutely deserve the 5 star rating!
