They met me at the address my phone pinged not just once in a day, but twice. I'm so thankful they at least tried and did their best. Thank you for all the officers that gave me the time of day to make time for me. I appreciate all of you along with all the dispatchers that were always super respectful when I called. Good job to the Independence Team!

Jasper Coleman: I'm so glad that they take their jobs seriously. They make no efforts to do anything. Ultimately, I believe that they're lazy, and prefer not to help when needed. A simple breaking and entering? Oh, nothing they can do about that. Robbery? It's a civil matter, we can't do anything. Thanks a lot.

Nick Irvine: I was on I 70 west when one of their officers got on the interstate somewhere around mile maker 13 or 14. I was going 65 the officer merged on to the inertate at 60 and merged infront of me at that speed. He slowed down to 55, I slowed down to maintain my following distance. The officer then turned his lights on and slammed on his breaks. I was loaded at about 70,000lbs I had to swerve into the left lain to avoid hitting him. They should take their officers back to driver's Ed to teach them.how to drive before handing them a firearm and putting them in a position of power. This was absolutely ridiculous.

Cole Pittman: Dispatcher was rude, called in an incident for my mom who was in fear of her life. She had called twice for someone threatening her life with a weapon trying to break into her house and was told “we can’t do anything it’s a civil matter” and nothing was done. I then called And Was told nothing would happen since I was the one to call and not my mom. Very unprofessional, worst dispatch encounter EVER!

Dell Wells: My experience in Sugar Creek so far has been pretty good. There was a lot skepticism from others when we first moved out to the Creek. Have I been pulled over ? Yes I have on more than one occasion. Headlight out,expired tags,license plate bulb out, speeding.To my amazement the Sugar Creek Police let me off with a warning and welcome me to Sugar Creek. Have I been pulled over since nope?. Now I'm not saying that there are no bad police out there I just haven't experienced it. With that being said I've ran across more bad people than Police. So at the end of the day if you ever have a bad experience with the police or anybody else ask your self and really be truthful ,what could I have done to get a better outcome to avoid this negative situation?

A D: I called 911 for help, in a middle of a fight. And the officers didn’t help me. Instead arrested me. My attacker got away because the officers wouldn’t listen. I’m very disappointed that I called 911 for help and it didn’t work. Makes me feel like I can’t call the law now for help. This has emotionally took a toll on me. Sugar Creek police didn’t help me when I needed them the most.

The police officers were more than accommodating to us. I really want to express our appreciation to Patsy (the court clerk) for letting us come in on such a short notice and the Honorable Judge Helm for allowing us to come up and ask him questions after court had ended.
