Meshuggah Bagels: what do users think?
Paul Mifsud: Just so goood!
Darcy Besch: This is really the only place I go for bagels in KC. Adore. I think sometimes they’ve been better than other times (more chewy, less difficult to bite off), but I’ve never been unhappy. They were slammed on Mother’s Day - I’d probably avoid on special occasions. It’s a small joint, so they’re not really set up to handle that volume. I always just get a bagel with shmear and I’m thrilled.Tbh the parking lot is kind of my nightmare - you can usually park on the street or just around the corner.
Eleonora Topchian: Super yummy bagels😍 The everything bagel is a must + any cream cheese combo. Get here early though, there’s always a line- must mean their doing something right!
mark hankel: Excellent everything bagel with everything schmear. Chewy great bagel spot!
Scott Daniel: Pastrami encrusted salmon bagel is the best
Brody Conway: I lived in NYC for 3 years and this is the closest I've come to a NY bagel here in KC! They are so good I find myself ordering at least 1-2 times a week. The staff is also amazing and super friendly! Great experience all around.
Eric Williams: I love this place. It's conveniently located close to my apartment, so I've become a regular and usually make it in a couple of times a week. I get the Rye with the Vegan Plain Spread, and it's suuuuuper. The staff are wonderful as well. I appreciate that they remember my name and order. It's the little things - right!?
Anisa Gaines: So much deliciousness
Kelsey O'Sullivan: While the bagels were great, my experience with the catering was awful. I had placed a catering order a week prior and had to pay so the order could be placed and ready to pick up. When I showed up on the morning to pick up my order, they said they didn't have it and to pull up my invoice to prove that I had ordered. They apologized and said their catering is disorganized. There should not be catering services if they are so disorganized they cannot even keep the orders on track for pick up. I had to wait awhile to get the order filled. The girls working in the shop were kind and helpful, it was just a bad experience.
K Miller: Popular stop for us when we visit
Josh: Very good bagles, much more traditional than the main chain places. The prices were good and the people were very friendly. I personally love the look and feel, like a mess of stuff your grandmother just wont let you get rid of. Idk it was fun, however my friend thought it was awkward, so ya know taste and all. I will say, if you arent expecting it the bagles are saltier than you may think. But they were made so well!
Cody Brown: Best bagel I’ve ever had. Perfect combination of soft chewy inside and crispy outside. If we lived in KC I’d balloon up to 350 lbs because of these bagels. Luckily we don’t.
Regina Wohletz: delicious!! I do wish they had more vegan flavors, I'm jealous of all the other flavors!
Jennifer Driscoll (Jenn): Love the bagels and schmeres. Don't love the parking.
Cameron Dominy: The bagels are just OK. I've had plenty of NYC bagels, and was hoping these would be near the same level. Not even close.
Jenni Busenitz: Best bagels in Kansas City!!!
Matthew Westra: Good bagels. Good variety, basic, everything, and even fru-fru styles. A friend of mine is a New York Jew and he says these are the most authentic he's had in KC.
Chris Flanigan: Always a favorite. The bagels are chewy, fresh, and delicious. The schmears are flavorful and when you order a bagel and cream cheese, you definitely get what you pay for.I thoroughly enjoy the rye bagel with the garlic dill schmear. So good!
Olivia B: Thrilled that there is a kosher restaurant in midtown KC. Very nice service and staff.
Grace Weinrich: Whitefish salad just as I remembered! Wonderful treat.
S L: Best everything bagels in KC.

Meshuggah Bagels: what do users think?
Kristin Rain: So many options and all of them tasty. One of the few places my friend can find a bialy that tastes right, outside of New York.
Dan Gustafson: Best bagels in town
Regan Shniderson: Best bagels in town!
Dan-O The Mad Scientist: Hands down the best bagels! I haven't had bagels this good since I lived in Florida! I just wish there was one closer to Independence!
Yvette Marchetti: I'd have taken photos to post... But it was so delicious I ate it too fast! Worth the drive for the fresh and delicious bagels! Try the box smoked salmon, you won't be disappointed! Cool place too, neat antiques! 10 or if 10 would recommend!
Diana Nunn: Great bagels, great selection of bagels and schmeers' super nice staff.lots of folks coming and going. nice seating area.
Laura Hollar: My husband and I love Meshuggah. We live abroad now and went out of our way to go to the Meshuggah in OP this morning, ending up 5th in line. By the time we ordered, there was only one Bialy, and they were low on several other bagel types. The Bialy was burnt, chocolate chip bagels absurdly thin, husbands order (lox, cc on everything) wrong. They gave us 2 chocolate chip bagels and a plain instead of 3 chocolate chip. How do you run out of a major bagel type by the 5th customer?
Justin: Bagels were super tasty and they offer a vegan (plain) spread that is delicious!
Rochelle Brown: The bagels and the customer service are schmearly AMAZING!
Mark Christiansen: The bagels were really awesome, but I felt it was way too expensive. 5 bucks for a bagel with some spread is a pretty steep price
Chloe Helling: I like bagels with a little more of a firm crust - but these are the best NY style bagels in Kansas City! The dirty martini bagel schemer is AMAZING!
Andrew Hill: Meshuggah Bagels is a must-visit for bagel lovers in town. From the moment you step in, you can tell that they take their bagels seriously. Their bagels are phenomenal, and you won't find a better bagel in town.We tried the original, chocolate chip, and everything bagels, and they were all spot on. The bagels were perfectly baked, with a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior. The chocolate chips in the chocolate chip bagels were evenly distributed, and they added just the right amount of sweetness.I even ordered more than a dozen as a Christmas gift, and it was a huge hit. Ordering online was convenient, and the bagels arrived fresh and delicious.Meshuggah Bagels also offers bagel sandwiches, which we haven't tried yet, but we're excited to try them in the future.Overall, Meshuggah Bagels is a gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves bagels. Their bagels are undoubtedly the best in town, and their online ordering makes it easy to enjoy them at home. Don't miss out on this fantastic bagel spot!
Enrique Olivas: I am not a bagel guy or a savory bagel guy, so believe me when i tell ya, these bagels are awesome. Fresh , fluffy and savory. I can't wait to go back and try their sweet bagels with sweet spreads.
Evan Engel: Everything bagel was delicious and salty. Food was ready really fast and very tasty. Will come again!
Nikola Tristani: Get in early for the best stuff.
Mr. L. Thompson: Wont eat here based on how the owner responds to the reviews.
Jim Holladay: Some of the best Bagels anywhere.
Carla Scheidegger: Bagels are delicious! Love the atmosphere.
Lisel Whipple: Delicious!!! We are from the Northeast so super excited to find a place place that had authentic and delicious bagels. This place hit the spot. Staff was friendly and everything we had was fabulous! We will be back again soon ❤️
Jim Becker: Amazing bagels, cream cheeses, and salmon spreads. Fast service. What else do you need?
Karl Bloss: We used to live in KC and now we make a point to get bagels and schmear at Meshuggah every chance we get during a visit. Even the plain bagels are divine and have no equal far and wide from here. The Everything Bagel with veggie schmear is my favorite for sensory overload.
