Brittany Buckner: Can’t find a beef patty that’s actually decently edible in KC and this place I’ve tried more than once. The shell was hard, I had to break the edges off. I literally didn’t even eat the second beef patty because of disappointment. There comes a point in time where you would think the business recognizes that they’re putting out a very lame subpar product and maybe take corrective measures. But no this beef patty continues to disappoint and I think I go here because it’s close to my house, but no more. Hoping the rice and beans will be better but I haven’t tried them yet and they only have Coco bread sometimes.

Damilleo Stacks: Great food! Great environment! Small and intimate space. I am in love with their sweet plantains. The size varies but they have never been anything other than delicious for me.I usually get the tacos (Zoe Pound & Deep Sea) but they season everything perfectly! 4 Stars!

Megan Cleary: We had the Reggae Vibes and Good Life bowls, the sweet plantains, and the citrus green and hibiscus juices. Everything was superb and fresh- the juices were absolutely delicious. The service was fabulous as well. Definitely going to be a regular in my local eatery rotation, 10/10 recommend.

ReShawn Beard: Showed up around 1:00 on a Saturday. While very cute, therestaurant was EXTREMELY cold (31 outside and not much warmer inside). Ordered approximately $30 worth of food: carnival, beef patty, and sweet plantains. As soon as payment was complete I started hearing the microwave in the back incessantly opening and closing. Received my food and realized why... $30 worth of microwaved leftovers. Talk about HIGHLY disappointed. Patty was no better than the ones you buy in the frozen section... curry on the entree was "dry" and lacking flavor and the whole thing was unrecognizable minus the peas and carrots. With every attempt to get a bite, the whole thing turned to mush (evidence of how many times it's been re-heated). Sweet plantains were decent, not really sweet but that's not their fault. Overall, it's a big fat NOOO! TOO EXPENSIVE TO BE GIVING WHAT WASNT WANTED YESTERDAY, TODAY!!

Renea Love: Cute wooded like restaurant. I ordered the island life for $11 thinking it was going to be good cause I’ve never had jerk tacos , you can’t go wrong with jerk chicken right ?? With all due respect these are the most disgusting spicy jerk tacos . I asked the Indian girl that was training the new girl could I get a refund or get something different because I don’t like it and she stared at me like a deer in headlights and said just throw it . I asked nicely if I could exchange it and she said no I would have to pay for a new meal . I asked her if I could try a sample of the curry coconut chicken and she hesitated but let me try and again MORE DISGUSTING 🤢. Customer service poor because I asked her what do they do for customers that’s unsatisfied about the food and she just looked at me as if she was irritated that I was even talking to her and I asked her why do she lack humility and she sarcastically asked me if I wanted to try something else and I told her no because of her unwelcoming demeanor , lack of hospitality and the quality of food is poor and taste like vomit . She stated it’s been sitting since morning and have warmers . Again the food is not tasty or flavorful at all and I wanted this to be a good experience with a positive review. I wont recommend to anyone and I won’t be back , Respectfully .

Esperanza Vite: Food was great, not the most flavorful jerk chicken bowl but still good. Their juices they make are very good! Lots of options to try it out multiple times. It is kind of hidden but you’ll see the menu pictures outside the door.
