Frank Rodgers: I brought in a tie rod hydraulic cylinder that needed the tie rod end adjusted for an estimate they quoted me 246.xx to which i declined because it seemed outragious . When i went to pick up my cylinder they handed it to me in a box in a bunch of pieces all disassembled which instantly infuriated me because the cylinder was working perfectly fine all it needed was the tie rod screwed back in to shorten the stroke . So they agreed to put it back together . Next day i go to pick up the cylinder , take it home and install it and now it is leaking oil and there are alot of scars on the rod from where they used vise grips and pipe wrenches on the rod and permanently damaged it so now i am forced to buy a new cylinder .

Josh Lowe: I had a rod seal go out in my mini skid steer lift cylinder - the manufacturer could get me the seals but it would take a week. I took the cylinder apart - took the gland and piston to Calibrated Products. They replaced all the seals in like 15 minutes right then and there and only charged me $76 or something. The seals alone from the manufacturer were $250. It's been a month at least and it's performing perfectly.

d Tal: Eric repaired my tractor cylinder while I waited. Twenty minutes well spent. I unequivocally recommend them. The cost was less than half of what Kubota wanted for the repair. The cylinder was tested while I watched. The repair was flawless and the cylinder performing as expected.Today(07-05-16) was my second experience with KC Hydraulics and it was better than the first. Sylvester repaired my cylinder in less than thirty minutes. I have it back on the tractor and can complete my field prep as scheduled. I was allowed to watch the repair and cautioned at the appropriate time to avoid injury from the possibility of flying debris. Again, the cost was less than half of the dealer's. I hope they don't decide to raise their prices based on that comment. I have a few more cylinders that need repair. The last of my cylinders (9-06-16) failed and, once again Eric bailed me out. I dropped it off and two hours later returned to pick it up. They repaired all of cylinders in the same manner. High quality work at a very reasonable price. Best of all, a minimal wait.

mark: I have an older Volkswagen eurovan that needed a power steering hose leak fixed. New hoses and parts in general are nearly impossible to come by.I called Tompkins and explained my problem and asked if they could fix my hose. They told me they needed to look at it and to come on down. Into the Uber I go. Waited around 30 mins for the "fixr" to come up and take a look. He said they didn't have the parts to build a new one and I asked if they could repair this one. He said they could but they don't do that. Got a policy against it. I just took my hose and left.I spent $30 on the Uber, which I couldn't afford and they had nothing for me. No apology. No nothing. End of story. FML.
