Shellie Nunnelley: I had the worst experience and told me a price and changed the price on me, they fried my hair out and did not do my hair like I wanted and I was their for several hours, I will not go again! 😪
S M: I made an appointment for semi-gloss application.I was quoted $40-60 on the phone, which is average and what I’ve usually paid across New England Salons -New York- Philly-Boston-as I travel quiet a bit. But upon sitting down with the stylist I was re-quoted $160-200 citing “a lot of hair” needing 2 or 3 tube “applications.” I was not advised $40-60 is equivalent to “one” tube application. This should be reflected in their price range quote, rather than doubled or tripled after a client arrives to the appointment. Furthermore, the application of semi-gloss is minimally technical. $200-300 is what I would normally pay for when I get permanent all over hair color. Very disappointed their price quotes do not reflect a true range. Blaming the customer is not a professional or competent approach, lacking tranceprancy to pricing their services, and very inconvenient.

Aja Pence: came in last minute on a Saturday for a color correction from another salon and they were amazing! My stylist, Justine, did a great job and was patient and kind when listening to my requests and anxieties due to my previous experience at another salon. She made sure my hair looked the best it could after suffering an awful color experience.The owner, Lisa was very friendly and made my experience even more enjoyable.

Patrick Collins: Unfortunately the last 2 times I visited this MassageLuXe I’ve been very disappointed. Each time I had therapists that were not healthy. One time the therapist had a cold and was sniffling throughout the massage. The last time I was listening to a therapist who had labored breathing with occasional belching and constant coughing to clear her throat. This doesn’t make me feel very comfortable about being in a healthy environment and definitely ruined the experience I expected from a relaxing massage.
Aida Pruitt: Massage therapists were great. I went in for my massage 3 days ago, and I used the gift card my friend gave me for Christmas. I was told by one of the front desk staff that if I used the gift card, that my debit card used for my monthly membership fee wouldn’t be charged. Well, my card ended up being charged because my monthly fee was taken out of it the day before my appointment, even though I used the gift card. I called Massage Luxe and was told that they will not be refunding the monthly charge back to my card, so I cancelled my membership today because of their unwillingness to honor their word or my wishes.

Erik Camacho: Got a membership back in Sept 22. When I signed up I asked about the cancelation policy. I was told any unused massages that were paid for I would be able to use. I asked for how and was told they do not expire.Well fast fwd to 24Mar23 and I went in to cancel my membership. I was asked if there was a reason. I told them do to work I don't have time to schedule appts in advance and by the time I know my schedule they have no openings.They started the cancelation process and let me know the accrued massages had to be used within 60 days of last billing statement. Since it was almost time for next payment I actually had 30 days to use the 5 massages. I told them what I had been told and they said it was incorrect. I then stated if I was unable to schedule a single appt in 5 months, it's highly unlikely I'll squeeze in 5 massages in 1 month. She let me know it was ok that I had and additional 6 months to use them(and pay a $20 fee) or gift them and whoever uses them pays a $20 fee. I asked for a corporate number to further discuss this and she replied she could grab the manager Riley for me. A young lady came out, never introduced herself and said you wanted a corporate number here you go and wrote it down for me and walked away.I called the number and the prompts directed my back to the store since they are franchises and need to be handled at the franchise level. I called the store back and asked for the manager. Riley picked up said she couldn't give out numbers when I asked for the owner. She said she had my information and would pass it on to district manager and I would get called back later that day or the next day.No phone call as of yet. Called the store again got a different girl and she explained the DM has been in meetings that's why I've received no phone call. Apparently she can only when she is in that specific store. She said sorry, she has my information and will give to the DM next time she comes in. She just doesn't know when that will be.This is a horrible way to run things. You are really going to charge someone to use a service they have already paid for and then give them the run around when the question it.

Spencer Clinton: Called to schedule a massage, spoke with “Becca” the district manager. I was a member with the monthly massage program, when I canceled I was not informed of a “60 day grace period” to use my massages- I was specifically told they stayed on my account and I could use them whenever I wanted. She informed me that was not the case, and that there was nothing they could do for me. Very frustrating because the only reason I cancelled was because i was TOLD BY THE EMPLOYEE that I was able to use them whenever. Poor customer service not being able to honor what your employees have told your customers. I’m disappointed that they would rather suck your money from you than do what is right. Go somewhere else there are much better massage places with WAY better prices. Wouldn’t recommend a money hungry business to anyone!

Jodi Petersen: I have been to a few massage luxe before, and my massages are usually pretty good, the facial I got was amazing , but the lady who did my massage completely hurt me and made it worse , she acted like she didn’t wanna be there I asked for a Swedish and it felt like a deep tissue. I ended up feeling worse than when I went in and took about a week and a half to get the knot out of my upper back that she didn’t get out , I had to use my massage gun so that I had to avoid going to the hospital that’s how much worse it got !!! Completely disappointing, won’t be back to this location.

I asked specifically how long I would have the massages for if I were to cancel, and they said that they would not expire.I canceled my massage package like I planned, but was told I had to use my massages within two months of purchasing it. I specifically had asked how long the massages would last because I don't get massages often. I figure that if I give the place a call, I can get a 3 month extension or something, no problem.Yeah, it was a problem. I explained my issue kindly and then got transferred to a DM who ended my ask for an extension with "we can't extend your massage because that's how it is in the system." I pleaded more, saying that I was given wrong information, but she would not budge. She did not try to gain back my business in any other way. She could've offered any sort of reconciliation discount or something, her hands weren't actually tied up by the system.Bad customer service, focus on one-time revenue instead of long-term customers, badly trained employees who give the wrong information (or maybe it was on purpose, I wouldn't put it past them)- I'm not going back.UPDATEAfter calling and complaining and three times, I finally did get a resolution. It took too long, but they finally listened, and I appreciated that
