Woodson Hill Equestrian Center: what do users think?
Jenna Barcus: Honestly I am not so sure I’d even give it 1 star! My daughter started lessons there and LOVED it. Then out of no where she was told by her trainer Anna Webb that she’s no longer training on saturdays and she had no room for my daughter and was going to wait list her. Didn’t even offer us a different day. My daughter was completely devastated. I find this completely unprofessional. My daughter was given lessons to just be told u will have to wait. I bought her a riding hat for Christmas and now 2 weeks before Christmas she doesn’t have riding lessons anymore. I bought her new riding boots. And even worse this was in an email. I then reached out to the owner by email and phone call and never received a call or email back. This is extremely disappointing for me and my daughter. We were referred by another rider that sees someone else and highly recommended this place. I’m sure some of the other trainers are great but I don’t recommend the one my daughter had. And if reach out out to the owner You might not get a message or call back.
TheEmmaGerard: Woodson Hill is incredible. It's such a gorgeous facility and they have a huge array of lesson horses, so you can find the perfect fit for your preferences. Maple is the most amazing, kind, supportive trainer and she truly inspires confidence.
Carmelle Armstrong: Wonderful barn, well cared for horses, excellent instructors! We love Woodson Hill!
Sharon King: Call an call if your not rich forget this place my 6 yr old granddaughter don't even have a even start with places like this around ya you can say the people are nice they helped so much ......why does everything have to be about money an so much .my granddaughter just wanted a chance an society wonders what happened to those kids .it's because you don't give them a fighting chance
Alexandria s: Elizabeth and all of her staff are absolutely amazing. They take excellent care of the horses. I was so sad to leave there I never had to worry about my mare. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was being taken care of.
landree: Horses are colicing left and right there. They’ve lost many horses in the last couple years, all due to EPM/colic. I boarded my horse there for about 3 months. After about a month she started acting up, as well as one of my good friend’s horses. We talked about it, as we knew it wasn’t a coincidence. She fortunately moved barns, however I stayed hoping it was just her getting use to her surroundings. Her body weight starting to decline drastically. She was never overworked. We even bought her extra groceries. This barn does not feed NEARLY enough to any of their horses. They all seem to be starving and underweight. She was never turned out into a large pasture where she could stretch her legs . She was always stuck in a tiny paddock with 0 grass and a bit of hay every single day. It infuriated me and her ORIGINAL owners (yep. she was a lease and I got blamed for her drastic decline.) I’ve just had an absolute terrible experience here. It was an absolute nightmare and I do not recommend this place whatsoever. This happened a little over a year ago, and I am just now comfortable enough to write about it on here. Hopefully things have gotten better, however I highly doubt it.
Cliff Liberty: The best ever
monte Ss: I deliver here very beautiful horses enjoy my visit everytime more than expected
Mike Holmes: The greatest people!!! Kind and accommodating, incredibly knowledgeable too!
avery: I absolutely love this barn there is so many things to do here and the teaching is very diverse. The horses are very well trained, kept fit and well fed. There are many things at this barn to love from the 2 outdoor arenas to the dust free indoor arenas plus a round pen. Both me and my sister have been leasing 2 different horses she leases Converse and I lease Fargo. We do hunt seat, western pleasure, and showmanship. But I have learn how to do things in smaller size like jumping, saddle seat, dressage, and much more. My favorite part about going to this barn is the shows they have recently me and Fargo won high point at travel shows they have. The shows are very rewarding experience. Back to the facility there are lots of stalls and outdoor turn out where the horses are outside in pastures or dry lots. There are 3 large tack rooms and tack lockers to keep your tack in. The people here are very friendly and the trainers are highly educated. The horses are very well trained as I’ve said before and there is a large variety of breeds, colors and ages of horses. Over all it is a great place to board horses, take lessons, and train your horses. Whether you’re just starting out as a beginner or are an advanced rider this barn welcomes everyone!🐴
sara bethany: Wonderful barn and people.

Sara Burnham: Friendly knowledge staff, beautiful horses
Adam Kroeger: My daughters love their lessons at Woodson Hills
Kayla Thorpe: This place is clean and everyone here is is amazing and does a wonderful job
doug Freeman: Nice location with 1st class accommodations
Andrea Simpson: My daughter had the best time here with her girl scout group. The staff are amazingly patient with the kids, and you can tell the horses are loved and well cared for.
Debi Govero: Super nice facility and friendly people!
Zachariah Stovall: Very nice staff. Horses are well taken care of
how to summon a lemon: If you're not afraid of horses then your heart will melt. They do everything they can, no matter the cost. They have rehabbed many horses, all turning out happy with their new owners and healthier than when they came. They adopted a horse heading for the kill pen who was severely injured and malnourished. Now her wound has healed, she's gained some weight and found a horsey friend. Please donate to this organization. They do great things!

Sophie Elmore: What a spectacular afternoon spent a few weeks ago! It was our first visit to Shamrock Grove. A dear friend (who actively takes riding lessons) and her husband bought our daughter a private riding lesson for her 5th birthday. We pulled up and were in awe of the beautiful view. Met with Brenna, the owner/trainer, who kindly walked us through the process and gently answered all of our questions, so patient and accommodating. My goodness, the stables were in immaculate condition! We were very impressed with how well the space is maintained, extremely clean and organized. They have a cute little balcony inside the arena with heaters and chairs where we were able to sit and watch our daughter's lesson. The smile on our daughter's face said it all, she was loving every minute and felt so proud! The horses were all so beautiful, she got to ride Poppy who was such a sweet girl. One of my favorite moments was watching my daughter brush Poppy's tail, we kept saying it was like Queen Elsa's long blonde hair. Brenna walked our daughter through everything from prepping for the ride, brushing Poppy from mane to tail, putting on proper safety wear, and tricks and tips for a smooth ride. The lesson ended with giving Poppy a treat, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Brenna and Shamrock Grove Arabians for the delightful afternoon, a momentous occasion for sure! We look forward to visiting again!
Amanda Pascoe: Beautiful facility, sweet horses, excellent lesson format and the trainer is fantastic! ❤
