Kristi Divine: Good deals. The cashier asked me 10 times to apply for a credit card. Too persistent. No matter what I said, she kept on. I was not rude but really wanted to be! I then told her I had a plumber coming in 10 minutes. I paid with 1 dollar bills, she took several minutes to lay the bills in order and then went through them, again, to count them. I was late. I'm sure not all cashiers are like her but I probably won't go back.

Monique Mcconnell-Roberts: I just left this store. I was going to purchase a coffee table book that was sitting in a cart by the register. Well according to the ticket that was on the Tom Ford coffee table book it was 64.99, the cashier looks at the price and states the price doesn’t look right and proceeds to contact another store. The book ended up being 80.00. If the sticker/ price ticket says 64.99 that’s the stores fault for putting the wrong ticket on the item and the price on the book should have been honored. It’s the principle of the matter.

Maddie Hise: Beyond impressed with this HomeGoods. I bought a full length mirror only to find out it didn't fit in my car. They held it at the store for me for 3 days while I found a vehicle big enough. I returned with a truck and they helped me load the mirror. Unfortunately it was a wood mirror and it was raining. The manager came out and helped me wrap the mirror with boxes and plastic bags to make sure it doesn't break or get wet. They did such a great job, they definitely won over some new customers.

Janet Sheets: Went to the store in Kansas City and I had to use the wheelchair and got treated like I was going to steal it. I need knee replacement surgery and I can't get it until I lose more weight. I am a obese lady and I don't know if she thinks that I can walk. Kept telling me she needed my card. I had no clue what she was talking about. I wish I would have left and I don't think I will be back . I never heard of taking driver's license to for a wheelchair that is discrimination for the handicapped.

S M: While the store itself is fine, not as good of a selection as a few others in our metro area, the problem is with the younger rude employees and management that participates in and doesn’t correct the problem. I was in the store being helped by a younger looking employee and could hear her being negatively spoken about on the next isle by her fellow coworkers. This girl looked horrified as did I. She was nothing but professional and kind even though this had happened. At a later point in time I brought this up to a very rude employee telling her this behavior is unacceptable and clearly those employees feel comfortable speaking that way in front of customers that they clearly do it all the time (hence the comfort level). She was not receptive of this info. On my most recent trip in, right before New Years, the same employee I had overheard all that time time ago was at it again barking orders and demands at the other employee. She went on to boast about being so drunk the next day she wasn’t going to work and this other employee had to work for her. I was shocked! Whomever this girl is, clearly she did not face repercussions and thinks work time is her playground. I asked a different male employee where the manager was so that I could report her and was quietly told she is friends with the manger and it wont matter happens all the time. If I go in to this location again, hear this talk and see this brazen treatment of certain employees again, I will contact an area/regional manager since there is some kind of cliche ruling the roost at this location. I was not the only shopper who heard any of this on both occasions-lots of glances and raised eyebrows between us. This is unacceptable behavior in front of customers. Very unprofessional and absolutely absurd that management does nothing to reign in these jerks!

autumn: Every single time without fail the short haired cashier is always gossiping to whatever poor girl is bagging my items that day. I have seen her yapp away to a girl carrying a large box when she clearly needed help with it and mouth off when another woman was moving things on shelves. Last week she kept answering questions that I clearly asked the young lady who was directly in front of me!😡 I try to avoid shopping on days when she is behind a register because she is always trying to fit 50 things in one bag. without double bagging! I know it has been a while since I have been in retail but I still remember enough to know this is NOT professional. I bought GLASS mugs and the second I got in my car I had to rewrap them and put them in grocery bags I already had because the only protection she gave them was a thin piece of paper she slapped on it. You could hear the glasses hitting each other when she gave me the single thin bag. it is ridiculous and I have had it! one star. last time they will ever see my dollar.

They had no record of my order and I was told to call online customer service. Apparently even though my order was placed it didn’t get downloaded so the store could fulfill it. I had to wait on the phone for the customer service representative to place the order again. She could not apply the 10% discount nor my $5 reward. She gave me a case number and told me it would be 3-5 days before the refund would process back to my credit card. What a hassle. I could have shopped in the store in less time. I won’t be online ordering again.

However I don’t think I will ever go back to this location unless things change. The line is absolutely horrible! And there is always workers standing around and not getting on registers?! What is wrong with the management here? At my store when the lines get long we as managers get on the registers. We don’t stand around looking at a pair of shoes?! After I waited almost an hour in line today I witnessed who I assume to maybe be a manager come up to a register to help, she helped one person then went to the back. Leaving the line to continue to grow past the door. Thanks for all your wonderful customer service!

christy keen: First the good-store was immaculate, very clean and organized. Now the bad-the manager was so RUDE and judgmental. Hey, pal, you don't know what people are going through and nobody wants your opinions on the way they talk or act. Shut up and do your job instead of hanging around handing out your preachy opinion on things that aren't your business. I will NOT return to this location. Go to Blue Springs-better items and much better workers.
Justin Metz: Even though this is one of the smaller restores I have been to it had everything that I personally was looking for. Included brand new gallons of paint in the colors I needed, Dome light for my bathroom, Non smoking signs for my new business, And random other little accessories I was looking for. All around it's a bit of a drive depending on where you live in Kansas City but it's well worth it!

Paul Kirkendall: Truman heritage habitat for humanity is a great place for finding gently use furniture they also sell recycle ♻️ plumbing fixtures kitchen sink fixtures bathroom fixtures such as toilets and bathroom sinks and etc if you're needing any type of items to pick up your home with and you need it done budget friendly they can hook you up like I said they carry furniture couch chairs dining room sets and they're all at a great fair price plus if you got any household items that can be recycled they'll take them in.

They really care about the community and they went above and beyond for my family and I am forever thankful for all they do and the awesome staff who work there I was able to furnish our home thanks to them and it is nice not having to sit on the floor some of the guys helped me back up the u haul and get it loaded so Again thank you for all that you do you all rock and the community is a bit better because of kind caring people like you

Jaimee Moody-Wright: Pretty small building, limited items. Pricing is decent, better than thrift stores if you're looking for furniture. Cheap building supplies like tiles, doors, and such.
