Midwest Heart and Vascular Specialists - Independence: what do users think?
Candy Robison: Very personable & spends the time to explain things. Staff is also very courteous!
Linda Crumb: Dr. Nager seemed like he didn't want to be in the room. Couldn't really get a straight answer from him.
Peggy Hill: Dr. Dickson and the NPs here are phenomenal and provide excellent medical care. The front office staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Courtney at the check out desk is always so kind, patient and helpful toawrds my father everytime he comes in. He has memory issues and gets confused easily, sometimes he isn't the easiest to deal with but she always goes above and beyond to help him which is very appreciated especially when I can't be there with him for every visit.
Ariel TaylorMO: Every one was screened for covid-19 before entering the office. There were only a few people in the office so there was a lot of room for social distancing. The time I spent in the waiting room was less than ten minutes. The total time spent in the office was less than 30 minutes, which included the time for a thorough exam. Check in and check out were easy. It was a good office visit.UPDATE: Another excellent visit. I hadn't been seen for two years yet my paperwork was updated, checked and double checked and I got a thorough exam by both the doctor and his assistant in less than an hour. At no time was I left to sit in a room by myself for a long time.
J R: Christina Turner NP, is a outstanding practitioner. Thorough, easy to understand and ask questions with. Doesn't hurry me through my visit. Goes above & beyond for my care & needs. All with a positive attitude that is welcoming.I appreciate all she does for my heart health care and definitely recommend her care. Sandy her nurse is always great to work with, as well. Skip Dr. Akin, all together.
Ann Arni: Everyone was kind and answered all my questions!
Patrick Cahill: Dr. Vaz is fantastic. He is a very caring doctor / professional. the staff is also phenomenal. I highly recommend Midwest Heart and Vascular Specialists. They are special and treat you like family.
Gary Littrell: We were early, got into our appointment about 20 minutes late from scheduled time. Dr Koerber was very helpful, talked and explained everything in a manner and terms where we understood and felt as though we were people he cared about!
Carrie Duggins: I see Dr. Koerber. He's a wonderful Dr. He actually listens to you and he explains things so you can understand. He never rushes his visits. He takes his time and listens. His medical assistant is wonderful. So is the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Koerber. Highly recommend Midwest heart and vascular.

Anne Horne: THIS IS AN OFFICE THAT TRULY CARES FOR THEIR PATIENTS. FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH THE DOCTORS AND THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN DETAIL TO EASE THE CONCERN YOU HAVE.

Centerpoint Medical Center: what do users think?
Donna Dannels-Wickboldt: Office and Dr. Smith are great
Jennifer Magee: I had the best mammography tech, Samantha! More HCA workers should be like her.
Brandy McGuire: I recently had my 3D mammogram. Online scheduling for the win and Samantha is top notch. Seriously, she is the whole package: competent, skilled, efficient and compassionate with stellar communication! I just need to know how to request her every year!
Barton and Lucinda Bedwell: Everyone was caring and compassionate.
Peggy Accomando: The nuses were very kind and helpful, I had my knee replaced they got me up right away ,I thought it would hurt alot but it didn't. I would go there for anything in the future
Rebecca Chappell: Since I am claustrophobic I dreaded getting an MRI, especially since I previously had a bad experience with one. It was my good fortune to have Anna as my technician this time around. She made a world of difference in the way she handled the process from beginning to end. She kept me informed of each step, encouraged me and showed sincere empathy for me, the patient. Thank you Anna!
michael c: Received outstanding care in the ER for hand laceration despite a packed ER. Jenn, NP stitched me back together with steady hands and Bianca, RN were both rock stars in providing care. 5 ⭐️ . Thank you again.
Arquetta Fell: My experience for 7 days with the Icu and hospices staff was Amazing regarding my mother.
V Martin: It was great. No issues.
Jennifer Nichols: It was better then I thought it would be, but, I feel like I wasn't really even treated I saw one person when i was checked in just to sit in a chair and get x-rays no one really evaluated my injury I saw mainly a nurse. I mean the staff where very nice from what time I did see them, bit it sure didn't feel like I was receiving any kind of care.
Katie Conyers: The only reason I'm giving a two star rating instead of a one star is because the nurse practitioner and final nurse of my visit did seem to care and want to provide help.I was in the ER for over 8 hours for severe abdominal/ovary pain. In that time, I never was moved to a room. After I went through triage, they moved me into another waiting area full of other post-triage patients. Not only was it incredibly uncomfortable, especially already being in abdominal pain, but there was no sense of privacy. Any and all information from registration to medical news, was given in front of everyone in the waiting hallway.I needed to have a CT scan to try to determine the cause for my pain. I got the scan in a timely manner, but then proceeded to sit there for over 3 hours before a nurse finally decided to investigate why they hadn't heard anything. Apparently someone had forgotten to submit my results resulting in the lengthy delay. At the time of triage the nurse practitioner said she wanted to start me on an IV of fluids and Zofran. Once I was finally called back to see the NP about 4 hours later, she wanted to know if I was feeling better after the meds. That was the first opportunity I had to mention to anyone that I never received the meds she prescribed FOUR HOURS EARLIER. No one came to check on me in the waiting hallway once the entire time I was there. My final complaint is about the "paramedic" that did my blood draw and put the the IV port in. She was so busy talking with a coworker about when she was going to be off and what she was going to do that she could hardly give me time of day. She roughly stabbed the needle and then proceeded to have to dig around trying to hit the vein. I don't have scientific proof, just the opinion from a physician at another ER that I had to go to a week later, that the rough injection has now caused a superficial blood clot in that arm.
Donetta Moore: As always, very caring and kind people
Natress KELLEY: As usual, good patient service.
Isaiah Mitchell: This place is not good
Brenda Tillery: Competent and efficient staff in Emergency Room & Radiology.
Maya Dotson: The medical staff are friendly but this last visit I felt when being discharged I was being brushed off/ hurried to get me out. Nothing was explained regarding results from my ultrasound/ x-ray. Just shown results were in my discharge folder. I had to ask what to do about my swelling behind my knee. At this point I'm dissatisfied with Center Medical Center as a whole including their ortho doctors. I will be seeking care in St. Louis I know I will get the proper care there. I will say the ER follow up scheduling department has been great trying to help me schedule follow up appointment.
Vicky Combs: In my most recent experience there on May 16, 2023 the level of incompetence in the clinic where I was sent for my procedure was down right dangerous! I will never go to Centerpoint again, am in the process of having all my doctors changed to the KU system, and will be happy to explain in great detail why the situation at Centerpoint was so dangerous to anyone seeking the information.
Mike Smith: My visit was just fine everyone working there really helped me and I am feeling much better now
John Dold: The doctors and nurses were wonderful. The Physical Therapistswere great. Very very happy with the care I received.
Ellen Jackson: Staff was great. Procedure was easy and technician and nurses were awesomeThanks for taking such good care of me while I go through treatment. God bless you all
Mike Wheeler: Professional always

Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute: what do users think?
BEHIJA DERVISEVIC: I was so blessed to get to that hospital. The people there were so caring and considerate, and they did their job with a smile, and a very caring for the patient there. It’s more than just a job to them. Blessings to each and everyone of you. that’s all care of me there. Sincerely, Martha Ashley
Lori Evens: No communication. All procedures and surgeries time given and passed. Cant eat until its done so three different days I had 1 meal, which was worst hospital food I have eaten. No bath towels or washcloths.Breathing treatment always late or not given. I felt ignored. I was told I would be discharged two days in a row, nurses waiting on a hospitalist for discharge papers. Haven't seen him.
Brad Loncar: I'm so thankful for the wonderful care St. Luke's provided to my father here. The right words don't exist to say enough how professional, caring, and all around excellent the doctors, nurses, and supporting staff are here. God bless them all.
TRACEY PRESTON: I had a quadruple bypass here and was quite concerned with the entire process; however, I can say the team here from preop to the CVIC and the 4th floor were very kind, efficient and knowledgeable. They were all very considerate and willing to answer all of my questions. My surgeon, Dr. Michael Gibson and his team were great. Although the CVICU was a little noisy at times, everyone did their jobs. It also appeared that everyone loves their jobs, never heard any complaining. The housekeeper was great too. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my heart.
M Suhr: We will hang up on you faster than any other heart institute.
Rick Haiges: I can't express my appreciation enough for Mid America Heart Institute. Last Spring I was diagnosed with end stage heart failure out of nowhere. While expecting the worst, I followed the direction of Dr. Andrew Kao and his entire team for several months and am pleased to say that I have made a nearly full recovery (without the need of a transplant.) It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for me but my appreciation for this entire, wonderful team is more than they will ever know! Thank you!!
Marti Hall Powers: My husband died here. I was not with him when he died because they waited 20 minutes to call me. I hate this place. And the all the personnel that work there.
Brian Fairchild: Closed off all entrances except one, then told you to use the neuroscience entrance on the door, but didn't tell you how to get there. We walked around for 20 minutes trying to find the entrance and visit my father in law. For being so smart, you'd think they be smart enough to draw a map to the entrance and put that on the sign if they are going to close off the front door.1/5 stars. Worthless.
Rich Carver: I had major open heart Cardiac surgery and St Luke’s Plaza location. The professionalism of the physicians and staff was beyond compare. The staff of the ICU and the cardiac unit made my difficult recovery easier. The care from the nursing staff at all levels was awesome.I would not want to do this again but, if it was necessary I would chose no place but St Luke’s Cardiac unit. Thank you for giving me my life back!!!
jacqueline thomas: Tt
Eimy Carr: Great experience at this locating. Staff was great. The patient was cared for. Clean and spotless. Wished other entrances were open, we had to walk a lot to get to our location from the open entrance.
Michelle Shoemaker: 4th floor CICU nursing staff are amazing!! We especially loved all the kindness night nurse Lillian showed us! She is tops! They all took great care of my husband, even though he isn't as Chiefs fan. 🤭
C Rod Allen: Nurses Amanda and Ashleigh and Dr Old on 3rd floor ICU took such great care of my motherJosephine Rodriguez and her family. Thank you so much for all on that floor that helped us through a difficult time.
Renee Grayson: Happy Nurses Week to the nurses on the 6th floor, ICU and the 4th floor from the family of Miss Middie Gray. She was in the hospital there most of March, 2019. Thank you for you great service. Also thank you to the escorts that transported her to radiology, the physical therapist and the housekeeping staff. You guys are the GREATEST!! And of course a special thanks to Dr. Russell Davis and the team of Doctors that saved her life.
Rhonda Gear: The nurses on 5th floor lung wonderful could not of Asked for bettet
Nancy Wallace: Amazing staff! Their positive attitudes meant the whole world to my son and my family. Hope is powerful!
Annette Mitchell: My brother had open heart surgery. Connie kept us informed and was so pleasant and patient with us. The nurses in ICU and on the 4th floor were wonderful! Lindsay in ICU never gave up on getting my brother going in right direction. The ICU dr. was amazing ..Dr . Venkat. Fourth floor nurses were great too... Anna Chris Annette just to name a few...
