Yard of Terror: what do users think?
Elisha Wealot: Family fun
Dany G: This was our first time going and it was really good!! We had a 9yr old, an 8yr old, a 5yr old and a 15yr old and we all enjoyed it. Everyone was professional and safe and they donate to Children's Mercy. Definitely recommend
Shelly Lawson: This is not a typical hauterd house. This is Legit! Amazing work Mike and everyone else that helped scare the britches off us!!
Yntell Yonnay: I loved it 😊 sooo fun
Terri Cusick: Is it opening this year 2022
Amber Fager: It must not be open anymore... I tried to take my son, but no one was there. 😟
T MAC: Is this going to be open later tonight i hope kids love going
Dan-O The Mad Scientist: This place was awesome!!!!!
John Neugent: They are awesome! Just the right amount of terror! The kids and I loved it!!! I think one of them might have needed new undies, but thats just how the cookie crumbles sometimes 🤷‍♂️
Dana Jordan: It was awesome!!
paige: Definitely worth checking out my family had a blast! Better than the haunted houses downtown!
Adaire Stewart: Absolutely FANTASTIC! Took my 8 year old granddaughter and we were delightfully terrified!! I have been bringing my granddaughter to the Yard of Terror for several years now, it has basically become a grandma and granddaughter Halloween tradition for us. We have NEVER been disappointed and the fact that they do this every year on donations is truly amazing!! This year with the COVID 19 pandemic, I was very impressed with the safety precautions that were in place. 5 stars full of fright and fun! Please be generous with your donations, it's totally worth the trip and we would LOVE to keep it around for many more years to come, putting something like this together every year has to be expensive. Already looking forward to next year. GREAT JOB GUYS!
Kayla “Kaylove” Proctor: It seemed really awkward going to a stranger's so called yard of terror but we took a chance because it was close by and free😁 I cannot believe how fun it was. It seemed as though it was professionally done. Me and my 4 kiddos ages 5-17 had a blast. I ended up donating more than I thought I would at the end.
Michael Hartwig: Cool as always
Michael Lee: Wow, went last night and had a BLAST! My lady friend who doesn't like haunted houses had soooo much fun!
Kristy Amen: We love Yard of Terror! Scary props- Halloween fun!
Tracy M.: For the price.. a reasonable donation.. you can't beat it!
James Large: Not great
Michelle Maxwell: It was fun, they put a lot of work into it!
Bobbie Martin: Total fun with some good scares. My teenage grandson and I totally enjoyed it
24hour FTC: Went this weekend with my wife and I 5 year old! Had a blast! This was better than some 40 dollar haunted houses, they really do a great job with the yard! Most go!

Beast Haunted House: what do users think?
Fyster Blu: Wasn't as scary for me as I thought it would be, but I still enjoyed it.
emily troske: We want to the Beast and did their escape rooms that are open year round. It was honestly the best escape room I have ever done. Such a cool venue! 10 out of 10 would recommend
Missuwu: Pro tip: Get there early. Me and my friend were one of the first in line. I don't think we even saw anyone else in the rooms so it felt like it was just us and the actors! Scary stuff 10/10
Ashley Wood: Definitely not worth the money... Was not scary at all... Was rilly disappointed
Brooke B: Not too much of a scare factor, they definitely need some more staff in the house. It’s mainly just walking around in a maze.
Nate W: It's so much fun
KR Wilson: One of the greats! It was a bit early and the cast was still getting in full swing for an evening of fun. Great special effects!
Samantha Shivers: Absolutely fantastic! Well staffed, no line (though it was pouring rain and cold so that might be why) but they let us in quickly, watched our ponchos for us till we were done, and they were so friendly! Would absolutely recommend to friends.
Vglosser: I was scared the entire time. It's a little slick from baby powder on the floors, it gets hot after awhile, and it takes about an hour to get through it.
Erica D: Very Scary!!
Duetromony 28-2: Wack, wack and more wack.
Vanessa Bricker: Amazing everyone was so nice and it was about 40 minutes long and everyone actually tried to scare you and not slack off
Kyla Shea: I emailed prior to writing this as I didn’t want to post something totally negative about something I usually love but have not heard back.. soThis was my 4th year returning. And we ordered our tickets online as usual. This year was especially exciting as my 13 yr old and two friends were joining us. We purchased VIP passes for all 5 of us along with 3 jumps now the tickets alone cost $377.55 then the 30.00 for the 3 jumps. We also come from Omaha NE so factor in gas costs.. along with a hotel room for the night as it gets late. It makes for an expensive trip. We talked it up the whole time to only get there and it seemed like about half of it was closed. As I said we have been there before and kinda have an idea of the layout..there was a second slide we never got to do and got waved past it. But the biggest letdown was that we paid to jump and it was not being offered. Now I also accidentally let the lady at the front scan our one jump ticket. She told us that it would be scanned upstairs as usual.. we could have been told then as I’m sure she knew bc the bouncer knew when I came out to find out what was happening. On top of that it was so packed in there at the point with the werewolf we stood in the same spot for several minutes. It was hard to be scared when you were barely moving and hearing the same thing multiple times before even approaching it.I have never been so disappointed. It’s fraud to allow your site to charge for something that was never offered. And the bouncer told us he was instructed to say that we could come back.. no sorry sir I understand they told you to say that but it’s a 3 hour drive for us and this shouldn’t have happened in the first place.I’m really hoping to hear back from you in regards to all of this. As I have never been so disappointed in The Beast and it was wrong to allow us to pay for something that was not offered. Thanks Kyla
Liyi F: Lots of walking around in the dark, got some good scares. Jump wasn't open, so we had to do the slide which was fine but I've done similarly long slides before. I found it helpful that the staff would scare us but also give us directions (in a scary voice, of course). Just...so much of it was dark. Like 60% was walking where you couldn't see ANYTHING. Took us 45 minutes for $45, could be better.
Carrie Cavender: I haven't been to a haunted house since I was in high school (about 25 years ago!) I just took my daughter and her best friend, who have never been to one before. We had the BEST time! My daughter jump scares easily, and they workers caught on to that and terrorized her the whole time. I don't scare easily, but it was definitely worth the money watching her, lol. We arrived on a Sunday about an hour before they opened and got in within about 15 minutes of them opening. We had a great experience and will come back again for sure.
Brooklynn Dietrich: My group and I were VERY disappointed with our experience.First I want to start by saying, we came to visit you guys 2 years ago. We stood in line for 5 hours in the freezing cold, we got the the front of the line being the next ones to go in and a shooting happened in the line so everyone had to leave and we did not even get a refund. At that, we drove 2 an a half hours to come visit. Horrible experience.Second, we decided this year we would give it another try and see if we could get inside this time. So that being said, we drove 2 hours to come visit you guys last night, our wait time was only about an hour this time. We paid $240 for our group of 6 to get in. As soon as we got up the stairs, my friend accidentally touched one of the actors wig and she complained freaked out on us, called security up there trying to get us kicked out. So that ruined the whole experience before we even go to the good stuff. None of us thought anything about it was scary. The props were cool the way they were set up but that was it. Also, all the actors that were inside were really rude and acted like they completely hated what they were doing. I could go on and on. Worst experience. I do NOT recommend THE BEAST!!!
Dark Rebellion921: One of the best experiences ever, the actors and actresses play their parts perfectly!!!!
Willa carr: Definitely the best haunted house. Amazing actors!
Brian Oliver: Awesome
Brittany Reeder: Very dark and short staffed thankfully the animatronics will still give you a fright. Be sure to not drag your feet and watch your step for stairs up and down. Same issue for all three haunts. P.s don’t buy tickets online the line for buy tickets are shorter.
A. Giles: It is a overall great experience but we got poked a few times and took the chicken exit

The Living Dead Haunted Attractions: what do users think?
Asia: We came here the year that they first opened. The whole experience was about 20 minutes long (maybe 15 minutes) and it consisted of us going in circles until we found the exit. The smoke made it kind of difficult. I plan to go back this year to see if anything has changed because the owner did state that he was planning to expand by the following year.
michael beaver: Lame...too much fog to point of you cant breathe..a few cool props here and there but not worth the money...but this is coming from someone who loves haunted houses if this is your first time or a newbie to haunts then it would be more enjoyable and suitable for you
Loren Lossman: It was fun. Slightly unorganized and doesn't last very long, but wasn't bad for the price. 5 events for $45.
Corbin Jefferson: Not worth the money. Paid $118 for my girlfriend and cousin. Hay ride/ laser tag was a joke, takes you around a septic pound twice. Same zombies in same spots! Haunted house wouldn’t have scared a pre-mature baby. Literally same guy pops out at you and not to mention it only lasted 4 minutes. Please people don’t listen to the reviews it’s a waste of time and money.
Joe the Truth: I was scared af & the escape room made me use my brain more than i thought i would..highly recommended 🔥🔥
Alleena Her: Stupid last year and fast not worth the money! Maybe next this year it will be better
Caleb Loera: Fantastic. Best Living Dead Hunted Attractions in Lee's Summit
Dom Walker: TONS OF FUN...WAY BETTER THAN ANYOTHER HAUNTED HOUSES OR ESCAPE ROOMS IN KC
Amy Lawrence: Great haunted attraction for teenagers and above! Took my 14 year old nephew for his first haunted house and it thoroughly scared him... He ran all the way back down to the building when it was over! We even called mercy and they let us out early... They were very nice about it and helped us out. Very family-friendly Event. We came back and did one of the escape rooms and it was a lot of fun.
Abdul Hakim: Very ascary
Ashley Threlkeld: This is the best haunted house I've ever been to. I don't normally write reveiws but I took my daughter to it and she got really paniced and scared and these people we're amazinamazing they hide so they wouldn't scare her and when we couldn't find our way out they came out and played with her still in character and lead her out. One clown even handed her a ball and played catch with her as he was guiding us out. I know they are supposed to scare you but as a mom I thought that was awesome. Can't wait to go next year and actually see how scary it is! Thanks everyone that worked tonight!
Tracy Wittke: Great first haunted house!
Bill Smith: We purchased the combo ticket that included the haunted house and the two escape rooms, we had a great time. Definitely a bit of a trade off in size compared to the very large ones like world's of fun but for the money ($20 a person) I felt like it was the fair deal that was closer to home. The lines were short and because it was a smaller place they only send in one pair at a time into the house so you never run into other groups. The actors put on a quality performance and scared my wife plenty. The escape rooms were the first ones I've been in and I managed to escape the first easy enough but the second one was much more challenging because of the live actor inside. I'm happy my money supported a local family business and glad that I didn't have to stand in any long lines or drive very far!
Danielle clouse: Awesome time!
Hannah Katherine Miller: Amazing!! The owner and staff were all very helpful and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend and i will definitely be back!! Awesome escape rooms and haunted house. Loved it
Randy Standley: Cool place to have fun
argelia prado: Excelente
Melanie Olson-Cox: Thank you for bringing haunted fun to Lee's Summit! My best friend and I checked out the haunt Friday night and it was great! Our wait time was very reasonable and there was careful thought and production put into the video & decor while we waited. The staff was helpful and kind. Once we got it the haunt... well, we screamed a lot and finally made our way out but it took us a while ! We were very impressed with the level of production and time put into this haunted house. We will be back to check out the haunted escape room.
Abbie Sechrest: We took my nieces and a friend here for one of their birthdays and the staff was excellent at making sure the experience was fun and geared toward their age. We did both the escape room and the haunted house and had so much fun. The escape room was challenging trying to figure out how to get out while being trapped with a zombie. The haunted house had scares around every corner and just going in our own group made it more of a personal experience for us. Keep it up we will definitely be back!
Rachel Brown: This is a GREAT way to start Haunted house season. It was a fun date night, something we would DEFINITELY do again.
Reuben Samuels: This is such a fresh new take on all things fright season! The escape room is different and fast paced keeping you on edge throughout the experience. The haunt itself goes a completely different direction than any of the usual "walk in a line, hold hands" attraction that we are all so used to seeing. It's fun, it's disorientingly scary and it's a great time!

Dark Nightmares Haunted Forest: what do users think?
KG: This was so fun
Ace Dragon Trainer Hart (AcetrainerAdam): What can I say except these guys have heart! Alot of potential for this place! A young haunt getting better by the year. The actors and actresses put their hearts in this and it shows. Also highly recommend the Schitt show!!!
Michelle Phelps: Best haunted place we went to all season! The Shitshow was very entertaining and interactive! The trail was great! Went with 3 teenage boys who really enjoyed the overall experience.
Kenny Locco Slaughta: Place was dope!💯🔥
jck49erfan: Went for the first time tonight. Had a blast! Very well decorated and had plenty of good jump scares. I loved that they spaced all the groups out enough to make sure everyone got the full experience. Would highly recommend.
Rachael Nelson: Had an amazing time! The pre show was really good and funny. Loved the atmosphere and everyone was extremely nice! 👌 would definitely go again. The only reason I am giving 4 out of 5 stars was there is a goat in a cage at one part and it was very scared with the loud noises and trying to escape from the cage. I dont feel like the goat is needed or adds to the "scary" factor. Just seems to be torturing the animal.
Nellie Partin: This haunted trail was nice and the people running it are fantastic! HOWEVER, the section of the haunt where a goat and firecrackers were involved did not settle well with me. The goat is clearly terrified and confused. Watching the goat try to get as far away from the firecrackers and hide in the corner with no way to escape is awful to see. Please stop using the goat in this part of the haunt. It's very unsettling to see. I've heard several other guests say the same thing. The haunt is just as good without the goat than with it in it.
Taylor Fisher: I was in line for 2 hours expected it to be a little better but it wasn't terrible it's more of a kid style I think just was hoping for a little scarier
MsSusumom: Great characters and shitshow!
Victoria Dominguez: This is worth every penny, great scares & better than last year! So excited to see what they do in the future!!!
Peyton: Best place ever for halloween.A scare at every turn and chasing you definitely coming again highly recommended.
Steven Walser: Had a great time with the family at the Haunted Forest! We got there at 7pm, when the website hinted they opened, but had to wait until it got dark around 7:40. Once in the forest, you anticipate some one to jump out at every turn. The trail is fairly flat and easy to follow with the little light they give you, and the ghouls know how to get even the least skittish to jump in fright! Highly worth the drive & the ticket price!!!
MaxsHI: I liked the Dollhouse that was scary or the Circus Tent!
ace hart: We had a blast Halloween night! Definitely recommend this trail. Coming from a former haunt actor I give these guys props they did great. The only thing these guys need are more actors. My friends and I may come work with these guys next haunt season. The show after the trail walk was great. The guy let me promote him on my TikTok after the show. We decided to stay and get front row seats to his last show of the night and he let me live stream his show it was great.
Justin James: A very long haunted forest with actors. It was much longer than I expected and the actors were very good with keeping tension up. They give you an extremely dim flashlight and at times with the actors chasing I thought I was going to run into a tree by accident but we had a blast. After the forest they had a stage show you could watch every hour, it was very entertaining and we had a good laugh after all the scares. Will be back next year with more people.
Jaimee Guest: My oldest and I came here! We had so much fun! Every one was super scary! It was a huge adrenaline rush walking through 1.2 miles of woods!
Charles Calvert: Really a good place to get scared at
johnny eads: It was a decent little haunted trail. I know in today's world it's hard to get employees. There was definitely lots of room for improvements. If you get scared really easy I would go to this one first. I took 3 people who have never been to a haunted trail and they enjoyed it but definitely thought it would be a lot scarier
ttvboigetclapped: Great place was scary and with the freak show and fire, was better than other places I’ve been too!!!
Keraz tofast: Place is awesome scary got to check it out if you're in the area well worth the drive
Troy Hernandez: Just went Saturday 9-25-21GREAT I would give them 6 stars if I could. Scary! The props and actors are amazing. I will go again this next week and bring friends.

Edge of Hell Haunted House: what do users think?
C Beltramo: It's not openIt's hauntedOnly in those winter winter months
Tyler Lotspeich: I love haunted houses. They are so much fun. They have a few broken props, but I know how hard it is to keep those machines up and running. The downside to this place is how busy it can be. Very popular place.
Sasha Minx: Great place for teens and I live for the slide at the end of the tunnel.
Jason Hill: One of the best haunted houses I've ever been to, your sense are overwhelmed from the environment they have created. 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
matthew renyer: Don't purchase your tickets in advance then you don't have to wait in line as long.
Wilddest: 10/10, AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Arrived 30 minutes early, 2 hour long wait, not crowded inside, and the slide at the end was super fun!
S P: Worse management ever. This was my second time trying to go to edge of hell this year on the same ticket. First time I waited in line got to top of line and the house was shutdown due to technical problems. They said our ticket would last throughout the season. So I went back again today and they closed before their time of closing. I live out of town. They denied refund us for the ticket. SO DONT BUY YOUR TICKET IN ADVANCE.
Kenneth Burns: Not as good as past years. More animated props than real spooks. The person checking tickets and finger printing was quite rude.
Duetromony 28-2: The only reason I gave them 3 stars is cause they were wayyyyy better that the beast. Nonetheless these haunted housed this year SUCKED. They didn't care whether ppl had a great experience.
N M: Be sure to arrive early and get in the correct line! Flow of crowd effects experience. It can get hot in there too! Overall, it’s a fun experience.
terp science: Had the VIP Treatment and could not be more happy! There was a group of 18 of us and the handled it well split us into two groups to make sure we both had the proper timed out experience. Actors were great, orioles were great, the level of creativity and fun from floor to floor was out of this world! Been to many haunted attractions and this one takes the top 3!
Samantha Shivers: Not really any complaints about the lines, we expected long waits going into this. However they let so many people in at a time that strangers are pressed against your back almost every moment unless you run to get ahead of them. Less than two minutes in I was shocked with live rabbit wire embedded in the wall, and I was under the impression it was an exposed wire because the run was pitch black (even though there were stairs that someone could easily get hurt on if they can't see). I felt the aftermath of that sick through almost the entire haunted house, and when I approached someone about the "exposed wire" after, she said it was intentional, and they got complaints about it all the time, but the owner would not let them alter it. There were many times we had to stand still to wait inside for the group ahead to get scared, which ruined the impending surprise for us, and the lady Manning the slide at the end was very condescending and rude to my 12 year old niece, who was at her first haunted house. The end room with the devil was anticlimactic, and we debated using the chicken exit breast to put an end to our misery. All in all, we bought a combo ticket for the beast and will likely just take the money loss because we have no desire to go through all of that again. We did enjoy the man outside with the fire sticks though.
heather Evans Evans: Waited in line 3 hours and had combo tickets that we couldn't use because by time we got through it the beast was closed. No real scares this year. Barely had anyone working. No scary actors working the lines while u waited. So many people inside couldn't get scared because you saw everything coming. Boring! I've been to this before and it was amazing this year was not! Complete waste of money
Clara P: Didn't even try to get in due to the line and waiting time, but came here for a pice of advice. Either start doing reservations for the haunted house so there isn't a Nile River of a line and there's proper spacing for different parties once inside OR do a better job of displaying and broadcasting the No Tickets VS Already Have Tickets line. Especially if people are from out of town and don't know the area very well. Waited an hour thinking we were in the correct line since we came from the side and the line started from the side of the entrance which was apparently the wrong move?? Absolutely no sign or staff let us know which lines were what except apparently it's in the front of the building. But no one would have a reason to go to the front to look at the sign because THE LINE STARTED FROM THE SIDE. Anyway, I was so excited when we finally reached the entrance, just to have them let us know we have to go in a different line because we already have tickets? How is it logical that people who were not proactive and just showed up have priority over the people that got tickets ahead online and/or bought VIP tickets? This is one of the worst money scams I've ever heard. And I heard if you get in the No Ticket line but have tickets, you can throw away your tickets and buy a new one to get in or you'll have to stand in line on the other side which stretches to different zip code. What??? Absolutely flabbergasted at the "strategy"/management of the entryway and ticketing. 2 stars.
Jerri Johnson: Scary
Michelle Phelps: Not scary at all. Walk through some pitch dark areas guessing where to go which was probably better than the few employees throughout the building that may or may not try to scare you. Save your money and find something better.
Luis: Great experience VIP line is worth it if your going to arrive later than the opening. Normal lines are pretty large and can take easily upward of two hours If you don't plan well. The house was a great scare.
Trenton Singleton: It startled me more than scared me and some places were just dark. If you don't want to wait in line for 5 hours better upgrade to vip then you might only wait 3 hours just saying
Brandon Scrimsher: It was great. Lots of scares. I felt it was worth the money.
Thomas Murphy: Don’t ever buy your tickets ahead of time! I am writing this review while on my fourth hour of standing in line. I was so exited when I finally got to the door, until I realized what the third line was at the door. They have a line for vip, pre bought tickets, and people who haven’t bought tickets. Now you would think the line of people who didn’t plan ahead would funnel towards the back of the other line. NO, that line actually serves the purpose of offering an alternative option where you can throw away the ticket you already bought and buy a new one to get in quicker. One of the most despicable business practices I’ve ever witnessed.
Quatrina Forbes: A for effort. It was so dark that it kinda ruined it. I am hard to scare but they did try. They really did.
