CRAZYBLADE 13: Freedom Carts and the owner TJ are the best. We bought a used gold cart and took it to them for upgrades. Instead of upgrading our 2010 cart he was able to put us in a fully custom 6 seat brand new cart for the same price. TJ took ours on trade and sold us the the new American made Kodiak. We use our cart at our rv resort all day none stop and have had no issues at all. TJ checks on us monthly and now we are sending our friends to him. Highly recommend Freedom Carts.

Nick Carballo: Experience started great when I visited the facility. Zak showed me around, answered all my questions, and told me he would put an estimate together for me. Estimate never came until I sent a follow-up. Got my estimate and had some follow up questions that I sent via email. No response for 9 days so I send another email. No response for 4 more days. Finally texted him and he indicated that he got busy and forgot to respond… whoops! A simple “Sorry but we don’t have what you’re looking for right now” would have been appreciated. Good news is they are clearly not hurting for business, because they sure didn’t try to win mine.

Katy Fry: I requested a quote for 4 golf carts for my company. I left a message with the manager only to receive a call back a couple hours later and be talked to in an extremely rude manor. I was told that they didn't have availability for my request, which I was totally fine with. The way I was told was that they take care of the Kansas City Chiefs as well as concerts in the area, which I get but the rude degrading tone in her voice was unnecessary. I was also told that she doesn't know who we have used in the past, but since we have never used them, she can't even try to accommodate us. Wow really!!?? A simple sorry we don't have carts available for that time would of been just fine. I work in customer service for a place that see's approximately 200,000 people in the time we are open. Customer service is a huge deal for us and I feel like I just received the worst customer service there is.

Ralph Leeper: Website says "We service both gas and electric carts, new golf carts and used golf carts". I guess they do, as long as it is a make they want to service. After giving all my info to a rep, they said they don't work on Star carts. Reasons included they didn't know where to get parts. I'm in my 70's and I've heard of the internet, and also know how to use a phone to call STAR or a Star dealer. Very disappointed in the false statement.

Consequently, we bought our vehicles through small "brand" dealerships and up-scale used car sellers. They were generally family owned and provided relaxed and pressure free buying experiences for us. We found family-owned and family operated Auto Max KC to be that kind of dealer. We had driven by their place numerous times and noted the variety of clean-looking vehicles they had on their lot. They buy their cars from dealer auctions, not general auto auctions, and look to be discriminating about the vehicles they buy. When we were ready to replace our van, we noted their small stock of such on their lot and stopped by to check them out. We found a clean high-mileage, therefore more affordable, van that was one owner and had a great service history. Auto Max emphasizes the use of Car Fax to choose the vehicles they sell and invite prospective buyers to use it, also. The interaction we had the sales person we first talked to and the General Manager who handled the paperwork was pleasant to the point of being fun! They were very accommodating. They also offer an affordable extended warranty and service what they sell. The next time we buy a car we will check with them first.

Recently though, I hit 100 hours on my zero turn mower, and the owners manual said I needed to replace a air filter, and fuel filters, and a ton of other things, but instead of trying to sell me all those parts they were super honest and told me I don't need any of those parts, as long as I am taking good care of my equipment. If I would have asked the same questions to a store like something that ends with mittys and starts with an s, they would have tried to rip me of and tell me I need a ton of random parts. If you are looking to buy a mower, this is the place to buy!
