Tyanne Johnson: So neat to see where Frank James actually stayed, along with other popular inmates of that time period. They had nicely displayed signs so you could read about inmates that were there and get more of a history feel. We did a self guided tour in the jail, but we also chose to do a tour town with the wagon and mules outside the jail. Very nice guy and was very entertaining. Highly recommend paying for the wagon ride city tour.

Reno Meihlik: Freilicht Museum Missouri Town 1855.Auf dem weitläufigen Gelände ist ein komplettes Dorf nach historischen Vorbild aufgebaut.Zudem gibt es hier viele lebende Tier, wie Schaafe, Hühner und Rindern.Man findet Scheunen, ein Herrenhaus, eine Schule, einen Kolonialladen, eine Schmiede, mehrere Wohnhäuser, eine Kirche, Ställe uvm.Alles Häuser sind mit Möbeln aus der Zeit eingerichtet. In der Schmiede wird auch noch gearbeitet,Es gibt viele Veranstaltungen im Jahr, bei denen das Leben vor über 150Jahren nachempfunden werden. Vorallem für Kinder gibt es viele Veranstaltungen.Im Oktober 2022 hat der Eintritt 8$ für einen Erwachsenen gekostet, Kinder unter 6Jahren hatten freien Eintritt.Für mich ein absolut sehenswertes Museum und Must-have-seen in Kansas City!
