Sabrina Smith: If you get Veit be prepared for your child not to matter. She doesn't care about kids. Feels sympathy for one side or the other and sticks to that decision no matter what. Meets with a kid once and deems she knows how she/he feels. She is ruining people's lives and her parenting plans are awful. Just accept defeat as soon as you see/hear her name. Your child will always lose with her.

Angela “Angela Absolutely” McDowell: Depending on who you go with, your results will vary. In my experience, Viet was the worst of the lot. Her work is biased and lazy. She says she will investigate things only to give the illusion of actually doing anything. As a GAL, she will favor one party and once she's made that decision, no matter what else comes to light, she sticks with it and ruins families. Stay as far away from this firm as possible. If they employee one lazy, biased lawyer, they employee more. God help anyone who has to deal with Viet as a GAL.
Charles Barton: Jim Ewan is by far the absolute best attorney I have ever seen. He has handled several matters for us including real estate contracts, business start ups, and wills, just to name a few. I have peace of mind knowing that Mr. Ewan is handling all of our legal matters.

He will constantly try to relate to your problems even if he doesn’t have real life experience with them. It is all fake and a very good show so he’s perfect for the CourtroomI honestly found it very offensive that he would pretend to be a Christian. But when he talked about the Bible he didn’t even know the first part of the Bible that was written in the 1700s was written in mythological terms so the actual events are not true but the meaning of the story “gods law”is true. it is the ultimate truth.he lacked understanding of that that is what gave him away as a fake Christian if you need someone to put up a show he is your guy he could pretend to be anything

Hannah Ehrnman: Emails went unanswered. He charged me half an hour work for a parenting plan I know was made 5 minutes prior to court as I heard him tell paralegal to copy and paste it from an existing plan. Charged me more than the max amount he initially told me. He failed to file QDRO even though I informed him of a 401k, causing me to lose out on 15k (what should have been my half). And he frequently “lost” documents causing me to make numerous unnecessary trips to drop off documents I had already provided.

KC PLUMBER: I was in a really bad motorcycle accident in Kansas city on 210 Highway. I had slowed to turn left and was ran over by a tractor trailer. Miraculously I survived, but I unfortunately was permanently injured. I have been an avid motorcycle enthusiast my whole life and never dreamed at 40 years old and riding on the streets for over 20 years anything like this would happen to me. I was a pillar of safety when it came to riding my motorcycle. Hindsight now that I can no longer work nor ride a motorcycle says that I was wrong in thinking I was safe. I have always been, I guess you could say leary about attorneys but after 5 minutes with these guys I could tell that these lawyers were not your standard ru of the mill. They took on my case and the rest is history. They couldn't fix my injuries but as far as everything else I am more than happy. Especially Bob Buckley, such a great guy. They handled my medical malpractice case that happened in 2010. It was a misdiagnosis or a failure to diagnose depending on how you look at it. I had test results clearly showing I was septic. I ended up with a pace maker and mechanical heart valve at 33 years old. My son was 2 at the time it was very tough. Berg's Security Llc: Worst lawyer I've ever met Joe O'Hara fabricated our statement kept us in the dark the whole time claims to have done 1,200 dollars worth of work yet we made a lot of the calls he was supposed to make kept continuing the court hearings to benefit him and also doesn't research his way around certain areas and dropped us back in January and did not inform us and let us dangle on a hook until the state of Missouri picked the case up and he still didn't inform us after we paid him 850 dollars plus the amount of a fine and that was not finalized and on top of that lied about making calls to find out about the case and wasted our time could have also prevented the state from picking this case up but didn't and we have had to hire a new lawyer for 3,000 and Joe Ohara convinced our insurance company to pay the other driver 30,000 which is more than the states damage allowance and more than the fine and although has not been heard of on the Bar he also spent four months of doing nothing

Krystina Cowan: I rented a rental property from Les Wight for the last year and a half. For the last 9 months I have had RAW SEWAGE back up in my basement and he has refused to do anything about it. In my opinion he is a SLUM LORD!!!!!!!! After repeatedly asking him to fix SEVERAL ISSUES (no a.c. or ventilation, cracked windows, raw sewage backing up in my basement, leak in my bathtub that has caused my water bill to DOUBLE, broken garbage disposal and SO MUCH MORE) I finally took my issues to the city hall and filed a complaint with the City of Independence. Les has BROKEN SEVERAL CITY CODES and is at risk of being fined for not properly maintaining his property. Instead of fixing the property so we can live comfortably with our newborn baby, Not even a week later Les filed for an EVICTION. when I moved into his property I told him my family planned to live there for 5 years. We have maintained the property, cleaned gutters, raked 5 years of leaves from back yard, and so much more. And this is how he repays us, with a wrongful eviction. Meanwhile THERE IS STILL RAW SEWAGE CURRENTLY IN MY BASEMENT. We can not wash dishes, do laundry or flush the toilet at the same time. In my opinion Les D Wight IS A SLUM LORD AND A SLUM LAWYER. If given the chance he will screw you just like he screwed me, and he will overcharge you to do it!!!!!!Do not rent from him and do not retain him for legal issues.
Truth Bomb (AR): Many people seem to have had a good experience (or think they have) with this attorney. I, however, had him deal with a couple cases and was not so lucky. After the first case, I realized how much better I could have done but it was over and on to the next issue at hand. This is where I saw the real Les Wight. He was lazy, unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. The first appearance at court, he said he didn't need to be there, but not so... so I was made to look a fool and the case had to be continued. The next time, he showed up but it was a more embarrassing scene than the first when he wasn't there. He obviously had no idea who or how to address the court officials, what documents were needed, etc. We got the judgment that I wanted (I'm not just a begruntled client because of a lost case) and I thought I would never have to deal with the man again. But alas, months later, I get a surprise when my wages were unlawfully garnished by a third-party due to an oversight he made. Frustrating but not without remedy, I went to his office to get the error corrected. He said there was nothing that could be done. I sought a second opinion and found out all that was needed was a letter written. I went back to his office and respectfully requested a simple letter. After an all-out temper tantrum and a condescending tongue-lashing, he said he would send a letter to get it resolved. Months later, I inquired of the outcome and was told he needed info (which he already had) and had not sent the letter. Still months later (almost a year) after more of the same, I have yet to hear back from him regarding the issue. An absolutely stressful, horrible experience!
