Terry Bowers: This is a nice blacktop paved trail around a small lake for walking or bicycling. Mostly even, there are a few moderate hills. The lake allows kayaking and canoeing, although I have not been on the water. As the lake has a lot of pressure fishing can be tough. A dog park is nearby. Sometimes just walking and taking pictures is nice.I was asked if a kayak needed to be registered for Remembrance Lake. No, Blue Springs has no registration. Only Electric motors are allowed of powered. Missouri does have certain registrations, so check those if unsure.
Will Saddler: A great place to spend the afternoon, kayaking or fishing. Paved walking trails too.
Anita Sisk: Pretty place to get a run. Complete circle path now so no more walking on the road.

Brittany Crawford (B): I didn't even go on my walk as I had planned. The parking lot was at capacity, and the walking trails seemed to be overly crowded. I'm sure this is a beautiful little lake and trails, I wish I could have gotten to see it. I went around rush hour on a Monday, so I was a bit surprised to see it so packed. Maybe next time.

Maggie Stewart: The lake is beautiful, but for about a quarter of a mile the trail goes right along interstate highway which completely ruins the serenity. Then the trail ends and you have to walk through the parking lot.
T R: One of my regular trails because it is accessible, beautiful, and pets are allowed. Great trail all the way around the lake. Paddle boarding, canoeing, and kayaking are allowed on the lake. Fishing, too.

Alicia Hardesty: great lil public access fishing lake along the frontage road North of I-70 between Grain valley and Blue Springs. there are always people there but there is plenty of parking. surrounded by walking/jogging trails and with a dog walk/park nearby it's a pretty serene place to spend a nice afternoon. i like to watch and listen to the water run over the spillway. and there are 2 pokestops there.! bonus
