Lisa Soptick: Had them come out a couple times, once for tree removal and again for a tree trim. I was very pleased both times and will continue to use them for all tree care!
vamshi krishna: I got the service from them for my tree removal and it’s the worst service I have ever got . I don’t even want to give 1 star for it . They are very arrogant and not good at what they are doing.
Christy Alexander: Great professionalism, excellent price, and their team is the best in Kansas City. I compared prices and checked several tree companies to trim two trees and cut down two (one had storm damage). Complete tree care is the best in terms of price and customer service. Im very impressed and will contact them for any tree service needs.

Daniel Burch: The last 3 years I've bought $40-60 of firewood by the stick from this place at $1/each. For the price, and considering I don't buy 1/2 or full cords I've been very happy with everything. Actually, EXTREMELY happy. This year, 2022, was different. None of the wood that i bought was even close to seasoned. Tons of hissing, popping and it would only smolder unless i already had a roaring fire going from other wood I had. Very different from the previous 2 years. If I only had the wood rom Southside Wood Co I would have been screwed. I've never had any complaints until this year but I'm not sure if I'll buy firewood from this place next year.

Cameron Moore: Closed during business hours. Tried calling and no one answered. Texted the phone number as it states on the website and no response. Wasted 40 minutes each way for a business that should be open.
Scott Lucas: Friendly guy and responsive. Delivery was quick and they stacked the wood. But he must not have the support he needs. I did not get seasoned oak as advertised as the wood was difficult to burn. Cannot use this wood this year. Will burn great next year. I get that they may be out of wood. Ok, say that so I can look for good wood at another place.
Angel Bruce: The guy on the phone was very friendly and having a half cord of seasoned oak delivered and stacked was easy and convenient. The price was a little steep but I thought it was worth it to save me the effort. Unfortunately, the wood was not all seasoned, nor all oak.We found that when we started burning this wood, it was difficult to keep the fire going. So we split some of the pieces and found them to be damp inside. It means we'll have to be careful to split and dry the next batch of wood by the fireplace before using.I say not all oak because the wood is all of different weights and appearance. While convenient, I think I'll go and pick out my own wood next time and pay a little less. I'm disappointed. I gave 3 stars purely for their friendliness.I'm attaching two photos to show the wood after splitting and the difference between the seasoned wood on bottom and the fresh cut on top that they delivered.

WILLIEMILLER22 Miller: On October 7th, 2019, I requested 1/2 cord of seasoned wood from Southside Wood, and was told it was available, and would be delivered and stacked for $250.00.On October 11th, 2019, the Southside Wood driver stopped by my home with a 1/2 cord of wood that looked as if it had just been cut. The wood was not seasoned yet the driver claimed it was wood that sells for them like hot cakes. The driver said he would return on 10/24/19, with another load of wood for me that would be seasoned. Southside Wood, never returned as promised.I suggest that if you’re looking to buy seasoned firewood, don't buy it from Southside Wood, as they attempted to rip me off for $250.00 by selling me what appeared to be freshly cut wood as seasoned firewood when it was not. I’ll never do business with Southside Firewood EVER!!!! , and I suggest that you don't either.

Kelly McKee: Needed some smoking wood, more than I wanted to buy at Eustons and found this place...Wow, what a find, it's a little tucked away off I35, but they have a lot going on there...First off, Southside Wood is also Woodyard Barbecue, so I found that, I ate there, it was really good, they need strawberry soda though. I also found what I went for, smoking wood, apple, cherry, hickory, pecan and even oak. It's all there in many different sizes, it's not expensive, don't remember exactly, but the bags are huge, I bought apple and cherry, have smoked tons of meat since then and still have at least half left. They also have firewood, I went in June, so don't need that but will go back and get some and more of that Woodyard, that was special.
