Manila Bay Express: what do users think?
Joanne Pasimio-Field: We got the $70 Bilao platter as well as bangus belly, tortang talong, & palabok. I, myself, really enjoyed the bihon, kawali, sisig, & palabok. That was probably the best pancit bihon I've ever had. And the Lechon kawali was so delish! Mom liked the tortang talong, palabok (though could've used some crushed chicharron), & the bihon. She wasn't fond of the basmati rice, however. She's a die-hard milagrosa Jasmine rice consumer. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our lunch and will visit again next time we're in the area.
Marilou Valencia Hart: Took so long to get our food. Didn't feel any friendliness inside the place. Food is just okay. Halo-halo doesn't look appetizing as it was advertised. Disappointed.
Phantasma Magician Curtis: Top notch food! Great experience, left full and happy. Really wonderful atmosphere.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

After you order, get your own plates and spoons as instructions state.6. Get your own utensils.7. Expect to wait long for your food.Order Tocilog. See before and after picture. Should speak for itself.
Rachel Bang: Closest thing that I had to home since forever! Best filipino food in the KC area 😁

cody g: Only complaint is it needs more seating but its greatFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jessica Best: Neat spot, super kind service that helped us pick our order and while it's not light fare, it was pretty fantastic. My favorite was the silig: chopped meat and spices. But the fried chicken was excellent too. We also tried the chicken adobo (great sauce), and the fried ham hock (not sure what it was actually called but holy wow, decadent and yummy with the sauces!)Oh and the lumpia! Beef and shrimp were both good, but the shrimp was the best: a whole shrimp inside each roll! The staff didn't mind that we showed up 45 min before they closed, and we enjoyed the decor while we waited (food takes about 20-30 min to come out).It was worth the drive from downtown KC, but we also learned they have a ghost kitchen in the Crossroads now (1600 Campbell)! Carry out and delivery only, but so much closer. Can't wait to try.

Alaina Elorde: I ate here w my Mom and our friend yesterday and let me say this is probably The best filipino restaurant here in the area I've been so far. ❤️ The food was great, the customer service was impeccable, and the vibe just takes you home! Thank you so much guys! ❤️🇵🇭

gladessa de los reyes: 1 hour wait just for us to get room temperature food! my 7year old was starving! The flavor of food was good. Sinigang was cold. The sisig bangus isn't sisig. I'm not sure why, it's called manila bay "express" when it's very slow service like the traffic at Edsa!
Roderick Sherrill: Very cool place to eat. The food was delicious! I'm looking forward to going back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Lumpia …More

Ting's Filipino Bistro: what do users think?
Christopher Conover: From someone who lived in the Philippines for an extended period of time, the Pancit is okay. Tastes good but not traditional rice noodles used in the Philippines. Service was excellentFood: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Paxton Nicholson: BEST FILIPINO RESTAURANT IN TOWN! I'm a second generation filipino and I finally found a place that taste just as good as Mom makes it. Amazing food and amazing vibes. If I could give it 6 stars I would. I'm telling everyone I know about this place!Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More
Breonika Davis: Have to try to chicken Adabo and lumpia! So good I will definitely be back for more
Britney Blakely: The best restaurant inside of Parlour KCby far! The lumpia is so addictive and always served fresh. I have tried every dish and highly recommend!Recommended dishes Pork Lumpia, Pancit, Lumpia and Garlic Fried Rice, Filipino BBQ, Garlic Shrimp …More
Jennifer Hill: Let me start by saying the food was delicious. But the ridiculously small portions are a no go for me. The shrimp appetizer was $11. For four shrimp. I got a side of garlic rice but it didn't even fill the the small bowl it was served in. I don't think I will be back. In fact I'm heading to find something else to eat because I am still quite hungry.Kid-friendliness: Definitely could bring children and they won't even have to sit stillParking: Plenty of parking right in front on weekdays.
Charly Jose: Zero flavor. Expected some flavor but the pancit chicken had no flavor at all. Very disappointing
Kristen Morgan: The food was great, but the service was absolutely terrible.A member of our party is not able to have pork as part of their diet. Their menu is heavily pork based. Upod ordering, I explained to the woman at the register of this to help reduce the possibility of cross contamination. She was incredibly sarcastic, stating "Well, you ordered chicken right? So it's not pork." In hindsight, I should have cancelled there, but we were hungry. The food came out quickly, and upon handing it to me, she states in an apparently sarcastic tone, "Here you go, your pork free chicken."There are many reasons for a pork-free diet and it doesn't matter why the member of our party cannot have pork. That was taken horribly by the register attended and will ensure that we are not repeat customers.Places and people like this make me want to never click a prepaid tip option. We visited 2 other places and the bar during our visit to Parlor and had great experiences with them.
Austin Gates: Chicken Adobo with garlic rice was exceptionally tender, juicy, and full of incredible flavors!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kent Begnaud: The chicken adobo is the best I’ve ever had.
Rachel Bang: I really like this restaurant cause I really do miss Filipino food but I realized since they 1st opened they'd been reducing portion sizes for example lechon used to come with more and more pieces but the last few times I ordered there was about 6 pieces and then about 4 and I think it's ridiculous to be asking $12 for 4 pieces of meat.
Angel Saofaigaalii: I love filipino food i could literally eat it everyday…first time visiting here, first of, customer service is not what I expected, second the amount you pay for the food compared to the portion, fountain drink with no lid especially when you do a takeout. The BBQ pork i had its okay its not the best! I dont think i will come back here
Joelle Swift: I was sitting there eating Tapsilog while wondering the quickest I could get back to eat it again before I was finish. It was FANTASTIC. At first it doesn’t look like much but it’s one of those dishes you keep eating and there is still plenty left. Loved it.
Jesse Goodeyon: Lumpia was decent. Not worth $8 for the price though. But the pork i honestly was near death from chocking on it from being so dry. I had to leave the restaurant from people looking at me to see if i was ok.
Courtney Hunt: I had Ting's Filipino Bistro for lunch today inside Parlor and it was delicious! I ordered the chicken adobo which comes with rice. I substituted the white rice for garlic fried rice which I loved but you really have to LOVE garlic to like it 😋 Also I tried is the Shangai Lumpia appetizer which was fantastic
RA 12: Small portion for the price tast is below average, they left the shrimp tail on and some was cleaned but I had to pick them.Just don't care to go back
David Spears: Delicious! My Filipino wife had the pork adobo, vegetarian pancit and beef tapa, and it was all succulent and amazing. Don’t really understand the negative reviews - everything is clearly made from scratch and with love. Try it! And Parlor KC is awesome - been to many food halls across the US and this is one of my faves.
Patricia Ann Concepcion: The chicken BBQ wasn't marinated so the flavor didn't penetrate the meat, but it was tender and juicy -- tasty but not authentic. The lumpia was tiny, the wrapper was too thick and seemed store-bought. The lemon garlic shrimp was fantastic -- perfectly cooked, buttery goodness. The turon and ube ice cream were good, it would've been better with caramelized sugar instead of the cinnamon-sugar coating they gave it.Parking: Parking along the street and behind the building but with limited spots.
Matt Watson: So I will give it 5 stars compared to all the other Filipino restaurants in town, because there really aren't any. So this is way better than no option at all. But compared to good authentic Filipino food, I'd rate it more like a 3. Pancit was worst Pancit I've ever had.
Cameron: Food was great. Garlic rice super delicious. The one thing I really was disappointed in when ordering food online there it says the staff will bring your food when ready. We'll that did not happen nor did it tell you when it was ready. Not happy at all about the. That needs to be fixed. I would have given 5 stars if they brought the food
Ross Muñoz: Pork lumpias were good, but it was the worst chicken Pancit I have ever had. It had an overly fishy taste. Had to throw my meal away after the 1st bite.
Cheska Ramos: Went to this place and i will make the review from a filipino point of view or at least filipino palate.I and my husband ordered:1. Lumpia2. Tapsilog3. Grilled pork4. Turon w/ ice creamThe lumpia was okay! But it can be better. Very small size. It can be bigger. Not worth the price.Tapsilog- the tapa was okay but i expected it to be better. I think my tapa is way better tasting than this. The sinangag was not hot or at least warm. Its freezin cold.Grilled pork- come on. It is obvious that you did not marinate the pork well. Pinoy pork barbecue is not like this. U need to marinate the meat overnight for the meat to absorb the seasoning well.Turon- i was missing the langka. And turon should be glazed with sugar. Don’t make turon if you can’t give justice to it.Over-all, it is a filipino food but did not meet my expectation. Its like the food was not made out of love. It’s made just to say that you make a filipino food. Filipino food is very underrated in the united states. The more that other people can’t appreciate pinoy foods if made and served like this. So please make it better.

Skye R: So so delicious!! Moist tender meats, full of flavor. Make sure you soak up allll the sauce with that rice.Call or text your order because they make it FRESH! Beyond worth it 🤤Can't wait to order from here again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
logan schutte: Great fresh food! Order ahead!! Will be going back soon!
Ashley Culpepper: Love the fresh food!
James Shaffer: If you like a place that takes 45 minutes to cook your food and then when you get it it is disgusting this the place for you.I ordered 2 orders of the pork kabobs with rice and 2 orders of vegetable lumpia. The pork was so tough I couldn't chew it and it was loaded with fat.I am giving 1 star because I don't have a no star option.
Shane Bonuchi: Joel!!! You are awesome, man! The food is amazing and what a great change of pace compared to other local food options. And I have to say although a drive-thru, the experience just makes everything perfect. Joel gave a personalized experience and I felt like an individual instead of a customer. These folks are doing it right! Highly recommend!!!Please keep in mind this is not a traditional drive-thru! All the food is cooked on the spot per order. You can order ahead by texting their number for the menu!
David Johnni: My first time there. The owers are so sweet. The food was so good. I love the dumplings and the lumpia.
kathy mclean: Very unprofessional business tactics.
Courtland Sampey: Was stopping in Kearny to buy something(live in downtown KC) and decided to try this place out and am I glad that I did! They were incredibly helpful and friendly explaining everything as I had never had Filipino food before. The food blew my mind how incredible it is. I'll definitely have go stop by again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
lia: the chibog platter was sooo good!
Jack Ambraw: We had the Chibog platter with chicken adobo, lumpia, turon, skewered pork, pancit, and rice. All items were masarap! If you're not familiar with Pinoy food, friendly staff are eager to help you select something wonderful.Pro tip: It's not fast food. Everything is cooked when ordered so don't expect to pull up and get served right away. You'll need to call or text ahead of time. Our order took about 25 minutes, which is convenient because it's a 25-minute drive from our house.
Tony Perkins: Great food and the owners take time to help educate people like me that are unfamiliar with Filipino cuisine.
Connie Armstrong: Authentic Filipino food. Delicious Lumpia and Pansit Bihon. Service was excellent-- so friendly! Text them for the menu, order ahead, drive through to pick up. No dine in, just pick up previously ordered food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Dustin Hoyt: We've been through several times and we haven't found anything that we don't like (and we've ordered most of the menu). The owners are very friendly, and I can tell they do this for the joy of sharing their culture with people who otherwise wouldn't ever be exposed to it. The lumpia (spring rolls) are our favorite, but the steam buns are also excellent and the desert options are all delicious. Just be sure to call or text your order ahead so you don't have to wait in the parking lot.
bruce dunlap: Flavor is great and you can taste the care put into the food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sunshine Bee: There are two places you have to visit in Kearney, 1st is the resting place of Jessie James at Mt. Olivet and across the cemetery is a quaint food place called Chibog 2 Go. The food is TERRIFIC. The people who runs this joint were kind and quite patient as my husband and i go thru the menu. Everything will begin cooking when you order and i suggest that you call their number first then pick it up later on. Authentic taste of the Islands, this place is sure to watch out for!
Saadat stan: Wow. That was the bomb. Authentic Filipino food, freshly prepared and served hot
John Davison: Dine in: No Outdoor seating: No Takeout: YesMore
Genevieve Joson: Chibog 2 Go has authentic Filipino food and highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Filipino dishes. I’ve only ordered from there 2x and both were great experiences. Recommend the crispy pork belly (my mouth is watering as I’m typing this), chicken adobo and the pork skewers. Yum! The lumpia is very good too! We have not tried the siomai yet but that is next on the list. Only warning is they make everything from scratch so order ahead! At least 40 mins ahead before picking up. This is not fast food. I wish they were closer so I could order from them more often :-)
Jessica Kay: Dine in: No Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: YesMore
R. Christian: Amazing food!!!!! Just wish the plates were bigger. I couldn't get enough of the deliciousness. Lumpia is my favorite
john winkels: I place my order 24 hours in advance of my 11:00 a.m. pick up today. At 11:15 I received a text message saying that my order was still not ready. At 11:45 I drove through and asked about my order status. I was told it was almost ready. At 12:05 I finally received the food. I was now late for a lunch business meeting with two Filipino friends. They ate the food and said it was average at best, and were even more appalled that my bill turned out to be nearly $100 for what I had ordered, and thought it was very overpriced for what I received. I was so looking forward to an authentic Filipino meal with them. All three of us were disappointed.
