Crystal: I think Michael Smith is everything you would expect a lawyer to be he can transform into whatever is convenient at the time. He will constantly try to relate to your problems even if he doesn’t have real life experience with them. It is all fake and a very good show so he’s perfect for the CourtroomI honestly found it very offensive that he would pretend to be a Christian. But when he talked about the Bible he didn’t even know the first part of the Bible that was written in the 1700s was written in mythological terms so the actual events are not true but the meaning of the story “gods law”is true. it is the ultimate truth.he lacked understanding of that that is what gave him away as a fake Christian if you need someone to put up a show he is your guy he could pretend to be anything

He had done nothing to help me with my custody case as far as No good advice and talks about other cases just to keep you engaged in conversation so he can charge charge charge for his time. I wish I knew better before not having any other option after paying in full. I feel cheated and used. And the rudeness I dealt with was unexceptable. So if you're a single parent in need of custody please please please hire an attorney that actually helps and cares because Michael definitely has his Best interests at heart

Jake Gatlin: 2/9/23 1 star. Called to set up a couneltaion and upon arrival I was required to pay a fee of 125. I get into the meeting and was under the impression I was speaking to who I was hiring to only find out at almost the end of the meeting this was not the lawyer taking my case! Based off of my case and a court date a month a away he required 5000 down by 3pm Friday the meeting was on Wednesday so a two day time period. So I call to find out who would be taking my case because the guy only gave me his business cards not the acctual lawyers card. The lawyer who was going to take my case was William Becker. I was told I need to put a 5000 dollar retainer fee before I could even speak to the attorney I was working with who was going be be charging 350 an hr + 100 something for his paralegal. That being said save the couneltaion fee go else where chances of you speaking to the person before you pay money to establish a relationship w to see if you even want to hire them are slim!!!!

MIAMI COUNTY KANSAS! 18-DM-000315 The judge threw the book at me because I hired the worst attorney in Kansas City! Their ads are NOT true! I had to fire this law firm then hire a different law firm. Then we spent the next 2 years cleaning up the mess that was created by this law firm completely dropping the ball.

I have had 5 or 6 lawyers over the years and never once had someone as professional and down to earth as igers. I paid more than what I had in the past but it was worth it.”you get what you pay for”. Whitely immediately not return emails, phone calls, blew me off before a Mediation and refused to contact me after. She’s grossly unprofessional. Now I haven’t seen my children in 3 years. Don’t walk. Run, from this firm. They DO NOT have your best interest in mind. It’s not about my result, it’s their lack of attentiveness and/or caring. Don’t walk away from this firm. RUN!!! If you know what is best for you and your Family because they do not.

Andrew Davis: Laura is very well versed in family law at least for my case she was. It certainly had a lot of ups and downs and the odds were stacked against me in the beginning. I understand that all cases are different. But what wasn't in question was her confidence in our/her argument. Even when at times I doubted the situation as custody proceedings can be incredibly stressful and back and forth.While I have had some attorneys that clock out at 5 on a Friday her job didn't end there. She was aware Opposing Counsel/Parties can cause problems for you on the weekends as well and was quick to get back to me when needed. If you want someone that will take your case as seriously as you do I would retain Laura. While not everyone will Win like I did. I guarantee you she will certainly push for the best possible outcome and it won't be to lack of effort or incompetence.
