Jeffrey Parrish: We have done the Boy Scout merit badge program at Misty River for Horsemanship a few times. The facilities are quite good. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, good people and easy to talk with. The horses are gentle and mostly tolerant - one was high energy, chomping at the bit.The arena where the riding takes place is good sized and in good order.I am not a horse expert and so I rate Misty River with a different eye than a serious horse person. I look at them with a novice eye. What I see and experienced is more than good enough to satisfy our needs.

Just returned from the East coast, where only Smart Pak had a bigger store but not the service, and Dover wouldn't provide me customer service bc im not a hunter. Very happy to come home to this store.

Shanna Stenson: Nick is a huge help with getting my horse who has kissing spines fitted for saddles. He is very patient in routinely checking the fit and adjusting them to remove pressure points. Highly recommend for your saddle fitting needs!!

He didn't even let me see the hordes, I thought that was weird not like any stable that I've ever been to. This is a very private stables and perhaps it should be advertised on Google to be assumed as public.

jscott20002278: They are not very accommodating and will not help you in anything whatsoever....and they are constantly doing private stuff so don't ever try to get a trail ride or lesson or anything really...go to another place... seriously dissatisfied with this place! To many other well run places in the area to settle for this place

debbie black: We stopped here for overnight boarding, but the facility is not safe for horses. Kent did his best, covering the window with wood that was just one foot off the floor at the back of one stall. I had to duct tape over the open outlets in both stalls. Might be a charming event venue, but do not bring a horse here. It is not safe.
