Leland B: Day 1: Church security planning for leadership personnelDay 2: Intruder awareness and response for church personnelThe good: Good basic information about starting a safety team. All stuff anyone with any background in law enforcement or security will already know. Very basic. Designed for a church that does not have a safety team ministry. Overcoming objections, creating a mission statement, etc.The bad: The PowerPoint had apparently not been updated for at least 5 years. There was no conceptual flow. Lots and lots of repetition. Quite a few times the presenter would bring up a slide then say, "oh we covered that already," and skip. About 4 hours of information in a 7 hour day.Wrote the previous paragraph after the first day. This was sold as a 2 day seminar. On the second day, the presenter explained that it is 2 one day seminars, and a lot of day 2 is repetition of day 1. So we got 6 hours of material in 14 hours of class time. Definitely not worth the money!The ugly: No reason for us to know all the famous people the presenter has been a bodyguard for, came across like bragging. Presenter claimed to have been in "hundreds of gunfights," then quickly glossed over the fact that most of them were simulated. Humility is one of Strategos' values, presenter needs more of it.
Mark Black: Jeremy, was our lead instructor, Awesome Christian man.... He had a passion for " protecting what matters most" I will take the class again.
Nick Léger: Great training, by great instructors. Highly recommended.

Brad Mowen: Do not use this company. I'm working with Brandon now and I couldn't attend a class due to a family emergency. He will not refund any part of the $115.00 fee I paid him.1. I received no service for the money.2. He didn't travel specifically for me. He was already at the venue and the class was not full.3. He's not willing to refund any part the monies. The "disclaimer" is buried, inconspicuously, in his email signature and this deception does not count as an agreement to terms. Knowing the disclaimer existed would have stopped me from going ahead with the transaction.This is a classic, dishonest practice that is just simply stealing from customers. Your local hospital can do your CPR for half the cost and twice the integrity.
Jarod Johnson: Brandon is honest and very responsive. I would trust him given his ethics and commitment to care.
Sarah Maxwell: Highly recommend Jumpstart for BLS certification! Brandon was professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating. I am an RN but my BLS had expired due to me not needing it for my current job. I wanted to get my BLS asap so I could help if needed due to the pandemic. I am so thankful for Brandon setting up a solo session with me that worked with my time frame, all in the same day I called him. I even got my BLS card before I left! Very appreciative of Brandon and his outstanding customer service!
