Nova Center School: what do users think?
Aaliyah Turner: I appreciate them so much 😊
Jessie Smith: Very historical location with a school helping special needs children.
Michelle Wilhite: I am so thankful for Nova! My son has improved in his reading and writing so much. They have a wonderful staff and do so many activities with the students. Discipline is handle in a very good manner and there is no isolation room. I couldn't ask for a better school for my child.
James Rector: They were all very mean to me
IAMDarriyun WEBB ASMR: Very good job and school!
Johnnie Lawson: It Was... and will Remain... North Rock Creek Elementary School! Once Upon a time... That parking lot between the two schools... was a playground with many fond memories!

Independence School District: what do users think?
Gamer_Sick: ISD is very slow and inefficient. I just graduated here, walked on stage 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received any word on my diploma. When I was coming back here for the 2nd time it took them almost 3 months to get me in here, making me miss the entirety of 2nd quarter. Some teachers here though are pretty top tier. So I will give them that.
Melissa Hatfield: Independence school district doesn't help children who have learning disabilities. They neglected my child's need for years, denying her testing and saying she didn't need the help when clearly she did. With no guidance I finally figured out how to go about getting her help, this year she was diagnosed and now they say, they will forward her evaluation on to the school district but can't start anything over the summer. Such a joke of school district and the amount of bullying that goes on in the schools is disturbing.
Jeremiah Smith: Really good school district
Julie Aldrich: Always friendly and helpful staff!!
Yaneth Sagaatume: 👍👍
Jamie Dennis: I love this district. They always got something going on.❤
Charles Kiper: I clearly do not understand. How does a school district that prides itself on character traits. Hire so many discriminating bullies? My daughter who has O.I. only wants to cheer for Truman. Yet the cheer coach Ms Parrish has shunned her. The Athletic director Mr Bieser has also told lies and hid behind his desk. But, what really takes the cake is Ms. Amy Chapelle. The 504 coordinator. She stated in a 504 meeting today. " I don't care what you say or what her doctor says. she is not cheering for basketball." It was the rudest thing I have ever heard. I was beside myself. Here the 504 coordinator for the school district is discriminating. Saying these things in front of my daughter. I was so upset. All I could do was leave. Is the world so bad that the lady whom suppose to be helping my daughter openly say " I can discriminate any time I want". Well I dont believe what this woman said can be the way it is . She needs to be fired as do the cheer coach and activities director Mr. Bieser. You have all discriminated against Lacy for the last time. I will contact all the necessary gov. Agency's, lawyer, advocacy groups as well as news stations. These children have rights. The legal way will prove your wrong. Your not fit for your position.
Bj Walker: Student bathrooms are not clean and barely any toilet paper in them. They should be sanitized especially since we are in a pandemic and they have order all kids back in school. What’s the use of a mask if bathrooms are unclean?
Linda Matthews: Just had to take a friend. She got in and out really quick.
linda hufft: I was really impressed with the professionalism , friendliness, and overall experience. So happy I'm joining the substitute teaching in Independance Mo School system.
Jessie Davis: I enrolled my kids over a month ago. I have left numerous messages, and called the school direstly. They sent emails and no one returns my calls. School started a month ago and they still are not enrolled. Just wow i feel like they care about their education enough to ignore us.
Jessica Mencia: Muy bueno
Kendra Henderson: Easy peasy i was in and out and everyone was super helpful
Janice Seek: Just fine
Maria Parton: Picked up chrome books for summer school today. The guys were professional and quick with what we had to do.
infinty_galatic dragon: Ok so i used to be a student here it is so bad do not enroll ur kids in school there ok 1st of all i got bullied all the time 2nd of all the teachers dont care they say they care but they dont and they do nothing 3rd of all check out iola ks the lincoln colts they are nice were i am now my parents moved bc of these ppl like if agree
StarFighters76: i miss when this was Regional Hospital.
Meridith Moore: Great district to work for. I was classified support staff in Deaf Education. Lots of resources and support for students and staff! Competitive pay and benefits too.
MarLa S.: Horrible district. They will lie and when you point out their lies, they lie even more, then they work hard to cover up their lies and make themselves out to be victims. It is a constant in this district of pure evil. If you are looking for a school district that is fair, trustworthy, genuine, values education, with no racial bias, organized, and has integrity, you will need to look elsewhere. Sorry, but this district has none of the above. For the sake of your children, choose Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, Kansas (Overland Park, Olathe, etc.) or private school. Good luck!
Megan Zirkle: We love Korte!
karen messer: well I gave them 1 star only because it makes you choose at least one star other wise I would of gave -10 because independence school district has went down hill they have police officers in the schools but they do nothing but sit in there office. They don't take care of the bullies they allow them to continue to bullying and threaten the good kids.

Marian Hope: what do users think?
Coco Walker: Marian is a great place for children who has speech disordersI would give them 100 %
Dewey Brantley: Best school for our girl! She gets the learning and care she needs to excel and not fall behind. The staff are the best and treat us like the human beings we are. Much respect for them!
Greg Howard: Wonderful Place
Karen Carson: I have done the research and looked all over the Kansas City metro for the best school to send our son. I feel that this is the place. The staff is caring and helpful when it comes to children with special needs. They know how to adjust to the child’s needs and provide learning through play activities. If we had not found Marian Hope Center back in 2008, I don’t know developmentally where he would be. This school is non profit and they have helpful groups that you can join such as a nutrition group for parents to help your child excel. They also were able to guide us as we searched for the right doctor for our son which had made a huge difference. If there is one wish I have it is that some day soon they are able to have an all day school for kids with special needs. I know that they will be loved and receive the most appropriate education possible if this wish of mine, could come true. It’s just a matter of funding, a bigger building and additional staff.
Stephanie Bolton: Our daughter attends Marian Hope Center and she excitedly looks forward to class each week. She has built relationships with the amazing therapists who believe in her when many others told us as partents that she would never do many things. We have watched the therapists fight alongside us to obtain equipment to help our daughter continue to make progress. Our daughter has heard from many educational and medical professionals all of the things that she can't do or wasn't likely ever do, but Marian Hope Center staff have helped our daughter celebrate each and every success!
heather Phillips: The best decision I've ever made as a parent was bringing my son to Marian Hope. At 18 months, he could not talk let alone make any babbling sounds. Within weeks, he was making vowel sounds and using sign language to communicate with us. He is now almost three years old and the highlight of our day is having conversations with him and hearing his sweet voice tell us stories. The people at Marian Hope are amazing! You can tell they love what they do. They greet you with a smile and go above and beyond to make sure your child feels loved and successful. They provide ideas and education for ways you can help your child at home as well. One of my many favorite things about Marian Hope is that they love my little guy for who he is but still challenge him to be the best version of himself. We will never be able to thank them enough for everything they have done for my son and our family.
kyndal costello: They've been so helpful to my son as he learned to communicate with this world. They came to our home and had classes at the center.
Nipahc Adoroare: They had some cool staff and my child seemed to like them. They were really helpful working with us with the needs we had. They seemed to know what they were doing in part, I felt less like this when my child went to school and the Physical therapist there got really upset on how her wheelchair had her in it with poor manor. Not sure how they missed this. This location is small, but just big enough for local therapy. Their therapists were able to be flexible and visit on site! Which was great and not always easy to find. Unfortunately then a therapist got nosy with personnel information that was incorrect and started talking to my SO about it. Not appropriate.
