BEAU VETTEPILOT: This place is the worst DG in Missouri they close 15 minutes early and even lock the door as your approaching it with a smile no less.

Sara Brown: I don't shop at this location often, and I don't plan to go back.I stopped there this afternoon on my way home to pick up socks for my kids, and a couple other items.The line to the single cashier they had was backed up. The only other option was a self-check out. I was going to use the self-check out, however, it was having technical issues, so I waited. At one point one of the two ladies working there walked by and seemed to fix it, and so some of us waiting in line used it, hoping to A.) Get out of there quicker after waiting awhile in line, and B.) To help make the line go quicker and be easier on the single cashier they had working there, a lady who seemed to be struggling to check people out. She kept having to ask the lady walking around for help on every transaction. I figured she was new. When I checked my items out, I realized there were security tags on the packages of socks I bought. I asked the lady walking around if she could take them off for me, she just shrugged and said that the lady who was already struggling at the register could do it, and she walked off. I waited until the lady at the register was between customers if she could possibly cut them off for me real quick (still wasn't sure why the other lady couldn't help me). Meanwhile, the next customer was grumbling that she had places to be (she had just gotten in line and hadn't waited near as long as I had). This caused the cashier to snap at me that I was "complaining" when I was trying to be as nice as I could about it and after I had waited 20 plus minutes in line.
Just Us: This location had to be far most the worst one I have ever been in the isles are cluttered with merchandise it is overstocked unorganized everywhere as I was leaving I happened to see the dumpster area and there was a dumpster there but it don't look like it was ever used this store was very very trashy
Teri Glor: The website says this store stays open until 11 on and that is a lie. I went there to get some things I needed and you won't believe it but the store was closed. I seriously think you need to update your store hours and your website. Thanks for waisting my time and the cab fairvto your store.
Alanna Riley: When I walked in the cashier here named Seth made me uncomfortable by him continuously staring at my butt and other things, he was doing this to underage girls as well.
Samantha Mueller: I use there prepaid card loading service almost every day my PAYPAL CASH CARD to be exact and today I went in the store my neighborhood store and the employees kindly told me they don't load PayPal cards. THE SAME PERSON WHO TOLD ME THIS LOADED MY CARD LAST WEEK .ITS A SHAME I WILL NEVER GO IN THERE AGAIN. I'm so upset about this because I'm trying to pay a bill before 5 and this inconvenience is TREMENDOUS BECAUSE I know they are wrong.Thank you.

Mary Badalian: My husband and I went into this store on November 26, 2021 at 5:41 pm and there was some very inappropriate music bluetoothed to an employee’s phone so it played loud enough for all to hear. Very foul language. A customer behind us asked one the employees if they thought it was appropriate to be playing in the store and they ignored him. He had kids with him. I don’t think we will be coming back anytime soon.

And the one ringing me up Julia was very weird and hardly any communication. I was waiting for 5 minutes when I asked her again like what the hold up was and then she said she was in the bathroom. Just horrible experience and the girls just seem like they hate their life. Then when the manager refunded my stuff didn’t even ask if I wanted it back on my card or not. Just gave me cash which is not what I wanted. Worst DG location I’ve went to in a while!

Cheyanne Nelson: Came in to do a western union transfer. Gray haired woman was very rude and wouldn't do it even when I signed into the app. She ignored me and started checking out the next customer. I called her a b***** and told her to learn how to do her job. I do not feel bad she earned the name and should look for a different job
Dominique Allen: If I could give zero stars I would. There's hardly every anyone that works there in the store. They're always outside smoking who knows what with the area homeless. I don't know if the white lady with red hair is high on meth every time I go in or what but this store is a hot mess. There's absolutely no management going on. Time to clear house and start over.Skip over this Dollar General at all costs. There's one on every corner in Independence. You'll find a better one elsewhere.

Cassidy Srock: This is my go-to Dollar General because it's super close to my house. They have what I need 99% of the time; if they don't I usually knew it was a long shot going in.They always have something on sale that I decide I need for some reason or other.Example: It's a great place to get planters. Which isn't to say they carry a lot of planters. They do not. 50% off mug? Drill a hole in it: now it's a planter. Plastic basket? Add some holes: now it's a planter! Serving tray? Now it's a repotting tray. You get the point. Their lack of planters doesn't mean it's not a great place to get planters.Also, cheap Gatorade. Summer is coming. Stay hydrated.
