Dragonfly Tea Zone: what do users think?
Itsyourgirl Aj: I went up earlier this week and there was one of your workers that seem like she just didn’t want to make a drink, very irritated and just kinda sunken up the place so I left, I like this place and the tea is always good so I’m disappointed that this occurrence happened for your employee it was a blonde Hispanic I hope this will get fixed.Kid-friendliness: Depressing
Jaime Mccarty: Had my usual milk tea. The boba was inedible, literally too hard to chew up. Not sure what it is about this dragonfly in independence mall that makes it hit or miss. All the others are always great.Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Toca Colo: The employes who served us were some teen girls who were laughing at us the whole time and we were asking about the things they served and they were no help at all. Ive had betted experiences at this place before but these girls did not treat us wellFood: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Revkah Qubana: Man…this place has gone downhill since it first opened at the mall…I haven’t been here in a while, and decided to order some Ube boba and was very disappointed. The boba flavors don’t even take like boba flavors. It taste like cheap boba powder or something. Very upsetting.
Amanda Kennon: Delicious! We ordered the honeydew melon and the taro.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brittany Shaner: Terrible service. Placed an order online. The staff didn’t even look at the order. I waited 30 mins for my order to be completed.
Jacob Cunningham: The place ALWAYS has a long line but it's well worth it!Kid-friendliness: Workers are always will to answer the millions of questions my kids have about what goes inside the drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on low level food court area. All the businesses have wheelchair accessibility.
Eztil: I went to the mall thirsty and dying my bones digging into my body because I haven’t ate in seven hours . as I was walking around I spotted this lovely Boba spot . As I was walking down I almost fell but thankfully I didn’t . yes I started walking came closer to the baba place . it was very lovely and nice I like the decorations even the plushy’s . I went up to the counter and asked what I should get because I never got Boba before , and a lovely woman named Janet (I remember her because she was very nice and helped me out a lot ) she explained to me what Boba was . All I can is Amazing customer service , yummy boba and I will be going there again !!!!
Melissa Luna: I really love the customer service there they are really sweet and over all just amazing with customers
Jenn Groseclose: If I could leave ZERO stars I would. When you pay over $30 dollars for drinks you should expect your order to be correct. Then when it’s not and you let the staff know and ask them to fix it ESPECIALLY when allergies are concerned and they want to argue. I don’t think so. Never again. In the trash they went
Smart Beautiful Black Queen: Love this company but at this location the girl is so rude and short with customers! I won't be coming to this one again!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Justin Lawson: Recommended dishes Lavender Milk TeaMore
Abigail Pinto: Boba is so hard like they needed to cook longer, taro tasted like nothing. Kinda sad cause I love boba but this is not it for sure.
Bradley Boreen: @Tobias Kennedy that didn’t happen he was there for 3-4 minutes just like every other customer and left they didn’t even spark small talk, you need to go to a mirror and ask yourself what am I doing wrong. Why am I wasting time taking pictures of strangers, writing reviews on the internet that nobody reads, makes you no money, and ultimately wastes your time.
Mike Crawford: Workers are rude, they always are out of everything and act like it is an inconvenience to talk to customers would not recommend ever coming to this location because for a mall location that is open to a known time they never have the core products that make up 90% of their menu.
Skylar Mickey-Sell: i absolutely love dragonfly! they do so well everytime & everyone is so nice :))
Grisel Fowler: the drink I got which was a almond milk was not exactly what I have tasted in other bobba places done completely wrong and taste awful this is the second and last time I get a drink from here, first time my drink was done wrong as well. train you staff on how to do these drinks correctly.
jackson trejo: As a Independence resident I love to consistently read through reviews of local shops and restaurants and see other peoples inputs. Today I happened to interest myself in a specific review for dragonfly that was left by a Independence center employee about a young worker at the Dragonfly Teazone. I don’t normally invalidate other peoples experiences at dragonfly however I felt this was necessary. The employee that he was talking about in his review, “young asian girl,” is genuinely the hardest and most precise worker at dragonfly and is the one I prefer to make my drinks. Basically, I wanted to say if you saw that review do not let it determine your opinion on Dragonfly nor the employees which work there because both are amazing. Also if you want to tell the owner to be professional don’t spam a single review on three different accounts to bring a local small businesses reviews down. Can’t wait to come back and get my regular made!
noelle: Love the tea but two girls who where there on July 11th, 2022 where talking smack on the people who ordered behind me and on other employees. I find that unacceptable:)
Britney Rene: Love this place. They have GREAT drinks but my friend I experienced a VERY SNOTTY girl making our drinks today. Seemed to not want to take our order in the first place, had an attitude about taking it. Then once we got our drinks, put the wrong bobas in the drinks. We’re not normally the type of people to say anything, but the drinks weren’t good. So we kindly go up and explain they messed them up. She rudely grabbed them from us, make them new and slammed them in front of us, not saying anything. RUDE RUDE RUDE! If you’re paying $14 for 2 drinks, have a better attitude or don’t work with customers. ✌🏼
Tiffany Hill: Usually love getting a bubble tea when I’m independence. Worker today was very impatient when taking our order. Switched up our drink orders. Very politely let them know and asked for it to be fixed. She very rudely grabbed our drinks and remade them

Kamryn Gezidel: Been here a few times and I love the atmosphere, décor & inviting staff . I ordered the mixed berry crepe with blueberries, strawberry, banana and cream cheese filling , this crepe was light + refreshing . I also ordered the savory Philly cheese steak crepe . Now that crepe was DELICIOUS. Normally I don’t go for savory crepes but I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try this one. I ordered the cappuccino & a bottle of cranberry juice . My cappuccino wasn’t very good , it lacked flavor , tasted like hot milky water so I opted to try a frappe . The mocha frappe was good . The cranberry juice was just a small bottle of ocean spray which they charge too much for ( it was like 4 dollars) , I noticed that a lot of people just get water instead. They have a self serve water station with plastic cups so that’s nice . The location & outside patio is honestly the best part ! You can sit on the patio, enjoy the breeze, and see locals biking/walking around as you enjoy a decadent crepe 🙂 A inviting and romantic atmosphere!
Danielle McCartney: Cute Lil place and food was great! Place to go for something different!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Maddi Worley: Been coming here for years! So many different dishes that are all mouth-watering delicious. Great indoor and outdoor environment with kind staff.Recommended dishes Sweet Crepes …More
Sarah Purcell: Crepes were excellent, even the buckwheat gluten free one I had was smoother and softer than other places I've had. Food arrived quiet fast. It was a nice casual date for us!Dietary restrictions: GF crepes taste quiet good and have a good texture... you can sub GF buckwheat crepes on any menu choice.
Liz Ibarra-Moore: This was our 2nd visit to Chez Elle and I believe will now be tradition anytime we visit KC! Absolutely delicious crepes and quiches!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Quiche of the Day, Savory Crepes, Sweet Crepes …More
Drew Sasse: Lobster Bisque... Maybe the best thing I've ever eatenWent for gf's bday and even though it was busy, the line at the counter went fast and the delivery of the food was also fast. Wasn't a huge fan of my crepe, but that Bisque though! Whole lobster tail in it basicallyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Lobster, Bisque …More
Jillian O'Connell: I had a nice first visit to Chez Elle. This is an order at the window, find a seat, and they will bring your food and drinks out to you. The menu is up on the wall when you walk. In. I recommend taking some time to review the menu online if you get overwhelmed by lots of options! There is air conditioned seating inside with a help-yourself water station. Outside, there are a number of small tables with umbrella. The side street isn’t too busy so you can still chat and hear the person you’re with.We ordered number 2. Tour Eiffel and number 26. Galette (Brie and buckwheat). The Tour Eiffel was delightful! The salmon and artichokes inside the light crepe with capers and herbed crème cheese on top was the perfect balance. So flavorful but not overly heavy. The Galette was OK. Not bad but nothing special. The eggs are placed on top the crepe and could have used a little more seasoning or herbs. The Brie and spinach inside had a nice flavor, although I would have preferred more spinach.Overall a fun first experience and I look forward being back to try more!
Mackenzie Cremeans: Always a wonderful experience at Chez Elle!
Jessica Ortiz: Ordered the breakfast bonjour and the sweet patriote crepe. Both were very good.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Judy Walker: Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Erika Cavnar: Coffee and savory crêpes were amazing! Will definitely go back to try the sweet crêpes.
Shawn: This is a welcoming estaishment with seating both indoor and outside, seating is open seating, where they have these elegant Paris inspired number holders. There are water stations through out that are self serve. They have breakfast, dessert and savory style crepes that range from classica to flavor combinations that will surely give your mouth a new flare for crepes. All the crepes are numbered so all you have to do at the" order here" area is explain your number. The cost is fair ranging from 9-12 per crepes. They have salads, soups and smoothies as well as some fresh baked goods If your in the area for a light snack.I got a couple of drinks the London fog was exquisite. 7.5 out of 10. A tea with a shot of expresso, really sweet. The brave, was absolutely amazing and our of the best expresso's I've had in kansas city. 9.8.I ordered 3 crepes. 1 breakfast crepe and 2 dessert crepes. The breakfast crepe was my fav it was bacon, egg, and maple. A 9 out of 10.The patriots is supposed to be strawberries, bananas and blueberries..topped with crme and both a vanilla and raspberry sauce. There was zero strawberries and you could tell that it was missing. 2 out of 10, I was extreamly disappointed in this error on their part.I asked the server host to recomend another dessert crepe I let her know I was not a huge fan of chocolate..what does she do she suggest the most chocolate item on the menu. Au chocolate. Choclate crepe with chocolate creme topped with raspberry sauce and chocolate sauce a chocolate overhaul again not for me 1 out of 10 my taste buds may differ from yours.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian optionsParking: 15Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate restrictions
Charlie Brown: This place is one of my favorites for breakfast in KC. They have a wide variety of both sweet & safety crepe options & they're all done very well. The staff is always friendly & though they are quite busy on the weekends, they move things along quickly. I've never had a terribly long wait. Highly recommend if your in KC & you like crepes.
Je T'aime Taylor: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Savory CrepesMore
Woodsie Woods: Always amazing. Great crepes and hands down THE BEST lobster bisque in the KC metro. Favorite crepes are the bonjour (scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese) and the citron (lemon curd, fresh strawberries and a strawberry glaze.) Consistently good food, fast & friendly service, and gorgeous atmosphere. LOVE IT.Recommended dishes Bisque, Crêpes, Crepe with Fruit, Sweet Crepes, Lobster, Strawberries Crepes, Soup, Savory Crepes …More
Cesar Gutierrez: 🇫🇷If you are an Eiffel Tower lover - Thai is the place 🇫🇷
David Reynolds-Gier: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Arianna Brewer: The crêpes were delicious but a bit on the pricy side for the portion sizing. Couldn't even afford to buy drinks.Parking: Not very much parking. You have to park a little ways away.

Dragonfly Tea Zone: what do users think?
Larry Hegendeffer: It seems a little pricey but it makes up with the ability of customizing you drink. And they have a large selection of loose leaf teas which I love.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on ground level.
Katherine Eshenroder: Always delicious. Love the taro!
Chris Kane: Kids absolutely love their drinksFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mango Bubble Tea …More
Brant Fillpot: First time trying boba tea. I got the tigers milk tea with boba. Definitely different, but tasty. Staff was friendly and very quick. I was the only person in the store and got my drink in what seemed like less than a minute.
Jamie Ojeda: How hard is it to make a boba tea? I stood there as the girl messed up multiple times. And over overfilled my cup so when I went to put the straw in, you knew it was going to go everywhere. Absolutely will not return. No one offered help either when my smoothie spilled.
NexGen: Worst bubble tea shop I have ever been to. First of all, poor service, very disrespectful staffs, seems like they purposely make your drink bad when you don't leave them a tip. Secondly the place is not clean. It's dusty and my smoothie had a chunk of ice with black mold on it. It doesn't seem like they clean the ice machine often. The horrible burnt smell is also an issue. This place screams health violation. Lastly, this place is overpriced for dirty and nasty drinks. This place cost more than Starbucks.Reading previous review, it seems like the owner tolerates the workers and doesn't train them into providing better service. I wouldn't waste my time supporting this business. This place has a LOT of developing to do.
Eliatne Rojas: Amaizing place !! Me and my daughter Friday spot ! Haha100% Recommended.
Nephi Richardson: Great lose leaf tea selections. Great customer service, definitely recommend giving them a shot.Recommended dishes Crepes, Strawberry Crepe …More
Panda: Fantastic Boba place. The drinks were wonderful, service (while it was a little slow) was great. I love the little spot in the back with the board games. Also, whoever’s playlist was playing, it was bomb. Super relaxing, friendly, and adorable place to be.

Daphne Elizabeth: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mango Bubble Tea, Pearls, CrepesMore
Johnny Brown: Place is dirty and over priced. Rude staff. There are much better and cheaper places to go get tea. Find another shop, this ones not for you. Cant believe the staff...
David bodyspam: Ordered a tea around 630. The two women at that were working completely forgot about me and took another groups order then huddled around a counter. After a while one of them looked at me and asked if I was ready to order. Dang talk about short attention spans. Gave two stars because the drink was great.
Mlynn Duffey: I love this place
