A to Z Comics: what do users think?
Trevor Burns: This place is great. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have it, they will help you find it and/or order it for you. Great prices. 10 out of 10
Elizabeth Herrington: This place has almost everything you are looking for.
Robert Schwartz: Great selection, friendly and welcoming staff 👍
Myers Gaming: Usually always have the comics i need. Very knowledgeable about current or upcoming issues.
Michael Thiemann: For a small location they well stocked and organized. Their staff was great!
Michael Rochon: Amazing Comic book shop with amazing people.
Jason Allen: Thousands of comic books, role playing books and used memorabilia. The prices aren't bad for what they are selling.
susan cronley: awesome family run busines since the 80s!
Brad Kelley: Extremely knowledgeable staff and an absolutely absurd collection of back issues. Toy selection is much more than expected. Truly an awesome local shop, just wish they were open later.
Lea Caylor: Love it!
Emansel Rossiter: Love this store been going since I was 11
Alvin Wynn: Wonderful owner wonderful place to shop if you’re into collecting toys and comics
Jared Van Cleave: Great shop. My buddy and I drove from St. Louis to KC for collect-a -con and hit just about every shop we could find along the way. By far the best. Fair prices on pokemon singles and comics. Will visit again next time I'm in town.Pssst...pro tip...word on the street is they have a potential candidate for a Base Set Unlimited Charizard to grade CGC 1. Fingers crossed :)
Hope Cox: A very nice selection of comics, new and old. The staff was very nice and helpful!
matthew ridgeway: It was a cool comic book store... definitely lots of comics...went to get rid of a few collector comics...took over a hour to find out that they didn't want them...could have saved a good portion of my day if they had just said no...waited and waited for her to pull a box out from behind the counter and say no...I don't need them...I personally think it was the money...I did have several that she didn't have to complete her collection but she still didn't want them...all good totally understand... Plenty of other stores that really want them.. all in all if I was a comic junky I would probably go there to see what they have...just not to sell to them...she was a nice lady and definitely knows her stuff...
Nathan Duvall: This is one of the best comic stores I have been to! I am not from the area and am glad I stopped in. They had plenty of comics to look through. The best part for me was the amount of action figures and toys they had available. From Super Heroes to Star Wars and other unique toys I was able to grab a ton of figures to add to my collection. If you are interested in Magic the Gathering they had singles and sealed products available as well. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely be stopping back in to A to Z Comics!
Marcus Koch: Great place! Great comics!
Nick Wharton: Damon and his grandmother were phenomenal.
j m: I mean, it's a comic book shop. Unfortunately a dying commodity..... at least in America! Glad I got to check it out.
vexha208: Great place gave me a very fair deal on my old pokemon cards.
Brandon Dueren: Best comic book store I have ever been to. They have a section of horror comics separated by themselves so I didn't have to do much searching. Once I got to the counter the nice owner told me they were half off! Will be coming back many more times.

Back in Time Comics and Toys: what do users think?
Chad Barry: Excellent store with a variety of vintage and current collectibles. Highly recommended!
andy robinson: Sean and Lisa are awesome! They have the best vintage toys and comics for anyone to enjoy. I could just spend hours and hours looking through all their inventory. When I'm in town this is a MUST STOP!!! This isn't just your normal toy/comic store....it is clean and easy to look around (most stores like this are cluttered and dirty) and they can point you to exactly what you came in for. I can't wait until I'm back in KC to see what new items. they have. I would suggest their Facebook, they post all new items when they receive them.
Paul Vang: Great selection of retro figures but be ready to spend some money.
Amy Backes: Such a fun store! Sean and Lisa are fantastic and have helped me find the perfect gift on several occasions. This was also my go-to spot for comics as I worked on collecting early Dr. Strange. Great shop, you should definitely check it out!
d3tach4blejesus: Been here a few times and these people are great on their prices and selection of toys and comics. Was looking for a certain gijoe figure 2 years ago and they luckily had one in stock. Owner was super helpful and held it back for me. Great people and will continue to do business with them any chance I get
Adam Cromer: Back In Time is just the best toy vendor I’ve ever dealt with. When I decided to refocus my collection and free up space I knew Sean was the man to contact. He was polite, professional and incredibly transparent with his purchase pricing. If you’re looking for somebody who will respect you, your time and your collection then look no further! It’s so hard to find reputable and honest people to do business with, so I make sure to advocate for the ones that meet the criteria- BiT def meets it and then some ☺️
Charles Morris: Always nice and friendly
Rando Keo: The store is full of fun stuff and nostalgic toys. It's jammed packed with comics and toys. The staff was super friendly. Go check it out!
jorge RODRIGUEZ: Great place and people....reasonable prices....I never leave empty handed from there....lol
Jimmy Rowland: This Shop is AWESOME! This place totally rocks if you need something vintage, Comics, and other great toys. Staff are amazing!
Jason Porter: Great comic store in Liberty. Check them out at Comic-Con!
Adrian H: Great friendly environment and tons of great collectables for any fan base!
Justin Simpson: Great little store serving all your vintage toy and comic book needs. Friendly staff!
Anthony Roach: Great place for all your comic book and vintage type toy needs.
Marco Jimenez: One of my favorite Retro toy shops to spend too much money at and not regret it! Eclectic variety of toys of all decades. I love this store!
Daniel Dunwoodie: Back in Time is a great place to escape. To get back a piece of your childhood. The feeling of nostalgia is awesome, just like the selection. They have a little of anything you might be looking for.
Andrew Baltes: Purchased a Teddy Ruxbin at a very fair price. I had always wanted one. Great selection of vintage toys. Very reasonable prices. Knowledgeable staff. My absolute favorite is the wide selection of Masters of the Universe figures. Will definitely be coming back soon.
Courtney Gilbert: Are you a child from the 70s, 80s, early 90s? They will take you on a walk down memory lane. A must stop for collectors or to recovery that favorite toy from your childhood!
Philip Hilliard: Great merchandise! Awesome staff!
Jake Livgren: Just the most eye-popping, nostalgia tidal wave of a shop. Super nice, down to earth people too. Always have time for a conversation. Highly recommend for the geek in all of us!
Sherri Smith: Love Back in Time Toys! I'm 55 and I feel l2 I'm 6 when I walk into the store! There is something for everyone of all collectors of any age! Check it out!I just wished I lived closer! 😍

Clint’s Comics: what do users think?
Roger Nichols: Been a customer since 1970! That should tell you something.
Real Estate Queen Dena Odom: This place has a huge selection and the staff are very knowledgeable about comics. I found a few collector items of Infinity Wars and the Black Panther
Auggie Doggie: This store has really fallen off. Buckets and towels were draped over the books. I was not allowed to casually browse. It felt like I had to be ushered to the title I wanted. It was a terrible experience.
Brandon Blanco: Horrible experience. Couldn’t get in the Door. Comments don’t do justice to how this shop is ran. The comic community deserves better than this sorry excuse for an LCS.
Jayson King: Store closed during business hours listed on the door.
Jon Rollins: As a long time patron, it was sad to see what has become of the store since Jim died. The woman who runs the store now isn’t taking care of the space or merchandise. On top of that she was incredibly rude to me just for wanting to enter the store and look around . I’ll never go back as long as I know she’s still involved with the store. Such a shame.
M B: My first experience was the worst and last...needed to buy a comic book for a 6yr. old birthday and was given an excuse that the comic books were inaccessible. I will gladly spend my hard earned money elsewhere. Thanks for poor service. I do not recommend this store for comic books nor your wasted time.
TheMidwestWookiee: How this place has not gone out of business just baffles me!Not the way to run things, unless it's into the ground!
Logan Murray: I had a fun time visiting here they have a bunch of comics and action figures. The only downside is that you still have to wear a mask and gloves in the store.
Dale Johnston: I tried to set up an appointment and I was asked many questions, It started with when will I be there and how long would I be there, what I was looking for (comic books, shirts and collectable items), can you be more specific? Will you be making purchases? I finally said, it isn't worth it and have a good day.
Chris Wolfe: The old lady was RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, AWFUL!!! Was in need of quite a few issues from various titles and Clint’s Comics just lost a few hundred $$$ in purchases from us today for not letting us browse and find what we need. Will gladly spend the money at a more welcoming comic store. Don’t waste your time or gas driving here.
jeremy Blunk: The worst now!!! Go to other stores and support other comic store owners!!!, been going to clients since I was little with my father. The new owner, a rude older lady would not let us look around like you would at any comic store to purchase. She said we weren't allowed to look around. We explained we are collector's and she was completely rude saying your not allowed to look only pick up. This place is the worst now..so sad to see a great comic store so unfriendly and ran by a new horrible owner. Stay clear... of this place...
Isaiah: Very local and very nice, helpful staff. I am so happy to be a patron of this establishment.
Zac Gall: I loved coming here and tolerated the owner until she kicked me and my daughters out for browsing… Told her I’d never come back, and I haven’t! There are other shops around the KC area that I’m glad to give my business to.
Gina Lathrom: Appointment only.. Could not get anyone to answer the phone. Always voice-mail. Does not need the business I guess. Drove across town for nothing! Don't bother with this place!
Stephen Taylor: This is the best comic book store I’ve ever bought from. I’ve been collecting since 1977 so I’ve had several regular shops in my time and most always missed pulls which has always been frustrating to me. Im sure other collectors have struggled with this at their LCS as well. But not at Clint’s, Sharon the owner makes sure you get your weekly books . It is super rare she misses a pull . If she does she orders one for you and makes sure you get it . I think She’s only missed one book the entire time I’ve had subscription with Clints. I’ve been going to this store since 2017 . Sharon takes a little time to get to know but once you do she’s the best . If you are a collector or just a reader she has great stuff . Highly recommend this place.
Gerardo Diaz: Very rude unprofessional old lady. “Only for picks ups” so why door reminds open.Worst experience ever!Never going back!
Danna Watson: Wonderful place
fritz kostner: I have gone there a few times in the past years during Covid iy sucked and I wasn’t allowed to go inside but recently I went back and they were so nice and also let me have a free book super fun and nice to look around but sometimes is scary feels like I’m being watched still totally recommend though
Autumn Morales: Amazing shop. The lady running the store(forgot to catch her name) is so kind and helpful. Clint’s is a absolutely invaluable part of Kansas City history. Remember to bring a mask and gloves. . Support your local comic book shop!
Emma Dennison: It was trashy because it said it was opened and then we got there it was closed so yea

Vintage Stock: what do users think?
samantha Mills: Obviously the staff here need to be trained to be aware of children with disabilities and not be rude and disrespect to the parents of them. My son pulled his shoes off in the store, having a tantrum and the clerk rudely said "next time he needs to have shoes on." To which we explained he had his shoes and just took them off. He stated "It doesn't matter, he can't be in here without shoes." So I picked him up and carried him outside to the car with my other son while my boyfriend paid. Needless to say we won't be visiting this store again.
Tom P: Well stocked, well organized. I've been to a lot of vintage stock stores, and the majority of them are good but this location is the best
Anthony Underwood: Most disrespectful employee ever literally does t even acknowledge me won’t stop watching a tv show on his phone and pauses after scanning each game to continue watching his show
John Farrar (J. Stanley): This vintage stock is filled with a variety of amazing things and it's fun to just look through the isles collectables. Though I had a hard time finding Harley Quinn comics
Stephan Coleman: Best selection
Michelle Stilwell: Great service and help from management.
Kevin knox: Nice place a d a good place to get new and old games
Jennifer Gray: I wanna give a big shout out to Brent (Manager) at the Sterling location in Kansas City!!!! My husband and I saved up for awhile to finally b able to get our daughter a Playstation 4 for Christmas. And when we purchased one it didn't work....we were so worried at what to do...Brent made sure to make it right....and my daughter has her Playstation 4. She is so happy and so are we. Thank you Brent for making sure we could make our daughter happy 😀😀😀😀
Kim Sutton: I like this store because they are very nice and good prices plus they allow you to buy , sell, or trade .
brian benz: The best place for collectibles and rare finds! Found a Nintendo 64 last trip.
Kevin Smith: Had the tv show my mom was wanting. If you are looking for out of print dvd or cd give them a look. Nice selection of movies. TV shows CDS and video games!
Ben Moss: Great store for nerds and geeks alike! Great selection of pops, video games, and toys. The crew there were extremely nice and helpful. When I couldn't find a movie I asked the clerk Will if they had one at a different store. He never once made me feel like a burden. Michael was also a major help to me and made sure I was taken care of. All around a great place. Definitely coming back !
James Sanders: I go in there every few weeks thinking they might start doing more with sports and football more than others. But I collect all types. Every time I go in there is less than the last time I was in. Last time I was in there was a few stacks of videos covering that part of the cabinet. This time completely covered with stacks of dvds
Mojo: Terrible customer service, the kid seemed very apathetic, very little acknowledgement and won't even look at "you"...found a game online that said this location had in stock, first i looked myself and couldn't find it, so I asked him to help, after verifying it was in stock on the computer, he didn't even look at the products himself. "Oh you didn't see it, then must not have it, this computer system isn't always accurate." Wow. Decent store to kill time if needed, but I wouldn't suggest spending money there.
Anthony Ellington: Asked a question and the employee rolled her eyes at me and ignored me and walked away
Julian Heishman: The best store
Nick T: A great assortment of movies and games. Also found some nice movie posters.
Kenny Connors: I was stoked that I found a super rare game I had been looking for. The girl at the counter barely looked for it (I watched her skip multiple game packages in the drawer), the other guy at the counter did the same thing when he looked. The manager came up and asked what the issue was. We explained it to him, then he proceeded to tell me that this location wasn't his store and he wasn't going to look for it. The girl then proceeded to say that she wished the store would burn down. The employees are a bunch of knuckle daggers and mouth breathers. Save your time, go to the liberty store.
Tracy Johnson: Always fun to go in there and see/get some great finds. Love going to see if they have new "Cards Against Humanity" expansion packs (along with other versions of that game). Their movie selection is phenomenal, they're reasonably priced, always nice and friendly. Always get greeted as I/we come in. Can always find great birthday and Christmas gifts for my nerdy kids. (Lol). Their music selection is pretty good, too. This is the place to go for Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemòn Cards and used controllers etc. Very huge variety of stuff.
Sulema Gonzales: Big guy said he would check to see if another store had the game we were looking for. Continued to do what he was doing and never checked as we wait for awhile to see if he would.
nichole stewart: Went there 2 times the first time It was a great experience. Friendly walked out with sum money. 2nd time the guy took a hour on looking the cards up and when he was done he said 20 on 400 dollars worth of cards thats crazy. My man loves his cards but has to sell them because sumone stole our car out of the driveway we had the car locked and the keys no help from the police .

Pop Culture Comix: what do users think?
Philip Marinello: Delighted to find that under new management, this shop is great! Always nice to stop in and the new owner has helped me get a number of things that I was looking for. Fully recommended![PREVIOUS REVIEW]I've had some decent experiences here but I'm honestly not sure how this shop stays in business or gets new customers- other than the fact that comics are wonderful. I don't know if the owner is independently wealthy or what but he does not treat most people that come in with kindness or interest. Not every experience here was bad but the bar for a business that is so service-oriented and customer facing should be much higher than that.**I would be overjoyed to alter this review to a 5-star rating if things got demonstrably better.**
EnderHX: Cool comic store and friendly guy working behind the counter. Very helpful :)
Dana: Great selection of comics, figures. Great selection overall. Owner is awesome and friendly
Cody Sun: I came here for the first time for FCBD today. The owner is great and the store has so much variety. Love the selection and organization of the store.
Cat E.: Great comic shop! :)
Jeffrey Gumminger: Great shop and owner is a great guy! Hands down my favorite comic book store.
Brian Pearl: This is a stellar LCS for picking up recent/current issues. Staff is very friendly and helpful and always offers to get you on the wait list for anything they don't currently have in stock.I wanted to add, I've brought my 5 year old son in with me a couple times and the staff has been very friendly about it. Granted, I keep a close eye on him and make sure he's being delicate with what he looks at but the owner specifically was very nice to him.
Logan Heisdorffer: Very nice place lots of comics to choose from. Great employee very helpful.
Melissa Matejicka: Super friendly and helpful. He had an alternate cover my son wanted and he held for me and did overcharge for it.
Eric Johnson: Great service today. Got a nice selection of Conan comics I've been wanting.
Steve Ruschill: This is my go-to Comic Book store in the JoCo area. We are fortunate to have a few good ones and Pop is one of the best. They have a good pull system, are good with special orders and take care of their customers. You cannot go wrong with Pop.
Dominic Romero: Was scared to get back into comic book collecting but had to start somewhere glad I came here, friendly staff and super nice
Marty Brown: Great store. I can't leave without buying something.
Nathan Duvall: Good clean store with a little bit of everything. They had a large amount of new issues and some back issues as well. If you are a fan of Funko Pops and Figures they also have those in stock. If you are looking for a local comic shop to pick up the newer comics this is the store for you.
Dustin Gasper: The new owner is extremely accommodating and always willing to help. Good selection of comics and graphic novels. My wife and I’s favorite store in the area.
Beau McMillan: This is my personal favorite comic book shop! They've got a great selection of new and old comics and a growing selection of action figures and collectibles.David, the store owner, is the nicest guy in the world. He does everything he can to help his customers out and find what they're looking for. He's an active part of the Kansas City comic book scene and always engaged in the conversation.
Iscariom: I absolutely adore this shop so much that I drive an hour and 10 minutes to it every Wednesday. David is really cool and keeps a clean, organized shot. He knows his $#!+. Always playing good music too.
Wyatt Preston: One of the best comic shops in the kc metro. Great selection!
Blake Roberts: I know the owner pretty well so take my review with a grain of salt, however I will say he always has the comics I want when they are available. Great store to get your comics at and support a local business.
Norm Cotton: Friendly staff. Great selection of comics.
Alex Hilliard: Still the best comic shop in kc hands down
