Brenda Gard: Love Stone Church. So many memories there
Heather Smith: Very friendly and greet and get to know every guest that comes! Beautiful glass windows!
Jeffrey Parrish: This historic church is a nice landmark and a functioning church. The architecture was aggressive and grand for it's day. The pipe organ is surprisingly massive and beautiful. The stained glass windows are first rate. There is a balcony all around, integrated with the main floor. There are many avenues for foot traffic.Showing the age of it's design, the flooring is uneven in areas and some overheads under the balcony are tight. But this is just architecture.What makes Stone Church special is the people in it, and the people who have gone before. They are very friendly and social. They are kind and giving. They are Christians with a commitment to God, their families, their friends, and their neighbors.My parents were married here in '52. As a boy, we periodically went to services at Stone Church, especially around conference. Even though it never was my home congregation, going to worship here always has a feeling of homecoming. I don't get to Stone Church often, but it is always special when I do.

Samuel “Sam” Quinn: I lived two houses down from the Stone Church as a child. They owned the building (a 2 story house converted into two apartments) and our rent stayed the same for the entire time we lived there. We attended services every Sunday, and it seemed like a treat every week. It is such a beautiful building inside and out, and the organ music and choir would just carry me away.

Jenna Remack: Very nice congregation and pastor. Wasn't the right place for us to call home but we were warmly welcomed. Women wore mostly dresses and pant suits. Men wore slacks and button down most with ties. Conservative, traditional church service and worship but very friendly people.

Deb Twy: Historic church, Harry and Bess Truman were married here, in the heart of downtown Independence, Missouri. Friendly and welcoming congregation.
Dale Rider: A wonderful congregation of people which needs an incoming of many more people to explore its spiritual and physical treasures.
Condo: One of the most beautiful churches I've attended. Full of history. Small but loving congregation. A real treasure in Independence!
Anna Rudy: Trinity Episcopal hosted a beautiful funeral for my grandfather. They also prepared a lovely spred of refreshments for the reception afterwards. My family and I were so appreciative of their hospitality!

Today was our VERY FIRST day attending here, and ALREADY I can see and feel God’s hand in everything here. Tina Yousef: Lori is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met she screamed in my face and kicked me and my 1 1/2 year old out because I asked about bruises on his back. Employees always on phones and they don’t follow the adult-to-child ratio. They need to be shut down!!!

TBC may be a historic church built in the late 1800s but God has gathered a group of talented musicians whose speak to the hearts of people today. There is no doubt they understand their talent is from GOD, through GOD and they assemble to GLORIFY GOD. The pastor even plays guitar. Michelle's voice is angelic and such a blessing.

That's a violation under the federal law, and will be taking the message to the proper authorities.No wonder why our society is screwed, administrators in a Christian Church even discriminate.

GRITTER SICKSPITTER: I take my clients here and I always get looked up and down and today just did it for me some guy just stood there frowned at me through entire service this morning I was the only black girl in the room and felt so awkward so I got up and ask what what is it he just starred and frowned so I got up sat on the steps near sanctuary I tried to not think its because I'm black but everytime I go its something when I first went I watched as people came out for muffins and coffee they offer for free as snacks but funny thing is when I walked up to the table I was asked to pay🤔 then a white woman and her kids go over and get there snacks and coffee no charge she was looking to have a seat a usher or person from the church pointed near me for her to sit but she looked at me and her and her children sat on the floor because apparently she didn't want to sit next to me what would u think how would u take this he asked her u don't want to sit in a chair with your children and she looks at me again and says no no thanks we will sit here but since my clients love this church I go in deal with it
