Linda Cheung: Parisian quality chocolates in Kansas City. Their fruit bonbons are intensely fruity and moderately sweet not overly sweet. I don’t usually enjoy white chocolate but their seasonal raspberry caramel is one of the best. My other favorites are the rosemary, lavender, fleur de sel, and banana foster bonbons and the dark chocolate fleur de sel pecan caramels. Their KC storefront is nice for fresh chocolates with little to no packaging. I’ve since moved to Los Angeles but still love ordering and trying their new seasonal collections every year.

These chocolates were so beautiful and unique that I couldn't bring myself to destroying one by eating it for the first day. By the second day, I couldn't resist and ate four or five. On the third day, I am ashamed to say that I finished off the entire box. The flavors were so decadent and also unique. I especially loved the raspberry ganache and the aztec spice. If you want to impress someone who loves chocolates, this is the place to buy them. I highly recommend based on appearance and taste.

I’ve given away several of their melt away chocolates as gifts and no one knew where they came from since they were in a plain white bag. Whenever I go in everyone is very friendly and warm making it super easy to have conversations with. They are veterans when it comes to chocolates and make the best chocolates I have tasted. Not only are their chocolates top tier, the drink menu is phenomenal as well. The hot chocolate was excellent for the winter season. Very rarely can I go, but when I do it is easily the highlight of my day!

They just didn’t taste good.

We had a hard time finding the chocolate to look at because the focal point is the “bar” area where you order/check out. When we asked where the chocolate was, they pointed to the shelves behind us. Nothing was labeled with any prices. They were barely labeled with flavors. I asked about if the chocolate was Gluten Free and the person gave me a very round about answer. I couldn’t find ingredient list easily on the products.We ordered a couple of drinks, latte and London fog, and got a candy bar. Spent $25 and really didn’t find anything to be that amazing.We would have loved to buy a couple of truffles to try instead of the un priced box of 6 truffles. But oh well! I’m sure this place is amazing but we won’t be back.

They make everything extremely fresh so a lot of things need to be called in ahead of time. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and clearly take pride in what they do. So excited to try the champagne truffles we also got!

John Wigner: Panache has the best chocolate and chocolate covered confections in the city. The shop has a great vibe for hanging out to enjoy a coffee or drink, and the treats are top notch. They have a wonderful staff that ensures you feel welcome and have the best experience possible. I'm so glad they moved out here from the Plaza as it's so much more convenient to pick up gifts and enjoy a special treat while on the go.

Ashton Bergh: Their website says they Close at 7:00 p.m. I arrive at at 6:00 p.m to find their doors locked. There were 2 additional customers standing outside wanting to purchase as well. One person greeted us at the door, Where he informed us they were closed. He was shown the hours online state otherwise and proceeded to say I'm sorry we will fix it and closed the door. I have been a frequent customer of panache chocolates and have never been treated this way. I typically go to their location on the plaza and receive excellent service. Unfortunately I had to resort to another place to get gifts. What is more frustrating I drove out of my way just for them.
