Madison Folsom: Great place to take your littles for open play or to host a birthday party. I’ve had my daughters 2nd & 3rd birthday here. Perfect place for a party for kids her age. There is something so calming about the toys & colors. There’s a night and day difference between leaving there & other kids/arcade places where you have an overstimulated child the rest of the day. Bianca & Taylor have both been wonderful hosts, truly letting the parents be able to enjoy their kids and party without the stress of setting up and cleaning up.

Megan Midence: I bought a ticket a few weeks in advance during my daughters spring break. Upon arriving the girl who greeted me said I bought my ticket “on promotion” and it was only good the week I bought it. That makes zero sense. I should not have been able to schedule a date for my ticket if I wasn’t able to use it so whatever technology is being used is flawed. She continued to argue with me and I finally asked what I needed to do since I’d driven 35 minutes with my 2 small children. She said “don’t worry about it this time”. Don’t worry, I won’t be back for a next time. This is not the way to greet someone and a little feedback, don’t let people schedule dates a ticket if it obviously can’t be used for the date you choose.

There is plenty of seating which fosters socializing and a sense of community. As a first-time visitor, slightly overwhelmed with entertaining my three little girls, I was perfectly at ease upon entry.Further reassuring was the robust menu of options for snacks, meals, drinks, and treats. The quick grab selection has healthy and wholesome items found in my pantry.We arrived and played for one two-hour session. It was ideal. As our play session ended, the friendly staff cleaned and reset all the toys for a new play session. I would have stayed all day—hopefully, next time, I can.Inspired Play Cafe truly blessed our experience. My children and I loved it.

Erica Rohr: We hosted my daughters first birthday at Inspired Play Cafe. It was perfect!! The staff will help you get everything set up for the party. They are wonderful to work with. I loved that there is a place to eat with tables but that there is also plenty of room to play. We used Play Haus KC, both companies work closely together, and there were so many fun activities for kids of all ages. I highly recommend using Inspired Play for a party. Such a wonderful experience.

We were looking for a space shortly after we moved to the area (fall 2022) and Bianca was so accommodating from the very beginning! The play space kept the kids entertained the entire time and it was so nice to have the place to ourselves for the event. Definitely will be coming back for more free play events!

It's a perfect place to let little ones run wild and play and explore while you're free to get some computer work done. I love that I can do my social media work while my kid plays and socializes. Even better, there are tons of toys for him to play with so I don't have to buy them! 10/10 for parents.

It's a place called Inspired Play Cafe which is owned by Bianca, a really sweet lady.A couple of friends and I took our kids there for a playdate and it's an amazing place.It's a Cafe but also a safe playing and learning place for young children. To avoid over crowding, you pay online or on-site for a block of time you would like to take your kid/s there.They have scheduled activities, board games, Montessori toys for all ages, arts and craft tables, a play area, the list goes on.I recommend it to people with babies, toddlers, preschoolers and early elementary age because it's a good enough area where they can have space to play and explore but at the same time make it easy on parents to keep an eye on their little ones no matter where they are in the room.It's a great in-door place to take the little ones especially when they get restless in these coming cold months when they can't play outside much.Please check it out, you will not regret it!

Melissa Davis: My 3yo twins loved this place! We spent two hours there and they were entertained the whole time and didn't even hit all the stations.I loved that we could eat here. I didn't realize they have a full menu served all day but it was great. I was able to order while my littles played and it was so nice for them to have something to do while waiting. Only complaint about the food is that my kids didn't like that the bread was multi-grain instead of white or wheat like they are used to. It did also take awhile to get my coffee but it was fresh and hot!Most places you can take your kids I think we all end up a little overstimulated due to all the noise, lights, activity, etc. That did not happen here. I was so relaxed and so were my kids!Pro-tip: bring socks as shoes are not allowed in the play area!

Kayonna Trimble: INSPIRED PLAY CAFE! The parking was amazing, the inside was beautiful and spacious, the owner and employees were so helpful, kind and professional. I encourage all to check it out because I highly recommend this place for kids in the toddler stage. They sell Kombucha and it was one of my fav10 stars are needed for this business. Inspired Play Cafe is a good place to check out. Thankful and grateful to God for directing me here.

Gigi Woodman: Pretty much every video game we played was poorly calibrated.Any shooting games, from rifle types, to jurassic park to ,you name it, didn't aim very well at all. A lot of the controllers were broken ,some really badly ,obviously broken. U already put ur money in by time u can tell it's broken or doesn't work properly.To me this equals a rip off.They have a lot of staff hanging around, but not so much walking the floors to see what's going on.We've gone to other arcades and not had this experience of the machines being so ill calibrated that it was hard to aim. Played games we usually play at the other places, but it just felt like a rip off. And none of us could score the type of scores we typically would. Nope won't go back!

John F: Main event Independence is a fun place to go if you are looking for some variety of activities, such as bowling, arcade games, laser tag, billiards, and karaoke. The place is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are decent, but nothing to write home about. The only downside is that the prices are a little high, especially for the arcade games and laser tag. You can save some money by going during the weekday specials or using coupons. I think this place is more suitable for adults or older kids who can enjoy the games and entertainment. I would not recommend it for families with young children, as the area is not very safe or kid-friendly. There are not many attractions or activities for toddlers or preschoolers, and the place can get loud and crowded at night. I would give main event Independence a 4 out of 5 stars for a fun night out with friends or coworkers.

Andrea Allen: Great atmosphere for a good time! The biggest problem was the service in the bowling area specifically. We were never checked on by the staff putting in food orders, additionally the same server requested a tip without providing good service or communication. We basically had to chase him down. We also had to go out of our way to ask for water 3 times!The last problem was the staff busting down the table, he hovered over us RIGHT after our hour was up. I find that very rude cosidering they were hardly present the entire time we were bowling.Train your staff better!

Prices have went up and service has went down.I stood at the bar for 20 minutes being the only customer while a guy I stood behind the glass window leaning his butt on the food surface just staring at me and would not come serve me. finally when the main manager with the keys in the badge came buy he jumped up and ran to help me then.Don't bother trying to call the place the employees refuse to answer the phone. Thomas Carter: My kids love this place. It's a bit expensive though. I think they out priced themselves for prizes at the arcade. I really haven't tried to much of the menu, but the pizza is okay. The food so far is nothing I'd brag about. I will say that the service was friendly and really quick to respond. I found them attentive and it really made the difference for me as far as visiting.

Which isnt an issue at all, for us. Food was really good. 10/10. Service was great. 10/10. Our only issue was the fact that the booths were patched up and not in tact.
