Sandra Park: I was in town for 8 days for research at the Truman Library and I had a fantastic stay at Waldo. The hosts are very warm & welcoming. As soon as I arrived, they showed me around the cottage and made sure I was good to go. The cottage itself is very charming with beautiful furnishings and great amenities- the bathroom suite was larger than I expected and felt luxurious. I explored the town a bit but I actually spent a lot of time in the cottage & in the gazebo/garden area outside. It was a perfect place to relax after long hours at the archives.It ended up thunder storming while I was there, and the hosts placed an umbrella by the door. Very thoughtful!The location is also perfect if you are in town for Truman-affiliated touring- 1 block from Truman's childhood home, 12 minutes from the Truman Library, and 12 mins from the town center- walking.
