Valley Oaks Meats: what do users think?
Melora J: Not customer oriented. Go to pollacks in Raytown.. you can count on them.
Boyd Wilder: Nice cuts and the quality is top.
Moleak Hoskins: I’m new to the blue springs area and was trying to find a good meat market with great prices and then I found Valley Oaks Meat. If you are looking for fresh meat at a reasonable price please visit this place.
connor keating: I was really happy with the quality of cuts I picked up, but the lady working the counter was super unpleasant to say the least. I don’t know if I caught her on a bad day or what.
Joseph San Diego: Amazing Tritip from here, probably the best cut of meat I've had out here in KC. Definitely will be coming back!
Colleen Broussard: Bought an assortment steaks as a gift for parents. Both of them said it was the most tender flavorful steak they have eaten!
Brian Potter: Absolutely fantastic for local high-quality meat. This is my go-to for special occasions. Helpful staff!
Jordan Sutlick: Great quality meat but the lady that answers the phone and works the front counter isn’t very pleasant. Just don’t expect nice customer service if you go here.
Kristin Eschenheimer: I will no longer by beef anywhere else. The flavor and quality is out of this world. This company also has fantastic owners that consistently give back to the local community.
Melinda: Amazing steaks and amazing local cheese and sauces.
Sandra Thompson: They have great cuts of meat and very friendly.
Christian Jauregui: The best cut ever!
lya azz: This local business at blue springs is awesome! They have a real meat and local honey.
Daniel Phariss: Their steaks taste and melt like butter in your mouth if you do a dry brine overnight and cook them up perfectly. The slight increase in price here is worth every penny and your supporting local farms. I don’t go anywhere else for steaks now! Also you can buy really high quality fresh dog bones for CHEAP! And they’ll cut them down to size for your dog!
Cammie Smith: Unfortunately we won't be using them again. We are missing at least 100 to 200 lbs of meat from our cow and they won't do anything to correct the problem! Bad experience, we were specific in what we wanted, which was very little ground beef and that was majority of what we recieved.
Sonny D: Great place to get certain special cuts and deals on quality meat!
Donabed Kopoian: Awesome shop! The meat is all local farm sourced, so it's more fresh than anything you'd get at a grocery store. Picked up 3 Rib Eyes and they came out excellent. Great, flavorful, juicy cuts of meat that melt in your mouth. Will definitely be back.I cooked mine on a propane grill with a meat thermometer. Here's what I did for anyone curious. This yields Medium Rare temp.1. Preheat grill on high to 550°2. Place steaks, close lid, sear for 1 minute.3. Flip steaks to unused part of grill, lower heat to keep grill around 350°.4. Cook until internal at 125°, then flip.5. Cook until internal at 150°, then enjoy.
Ed Lillie II: Nice clean store. Helpful counter person. They vacuum sealed our bacon. Will go back
Fatima Figueroa: Great steaks, fantastic service and the owners are great people! Go check them out
Doug Lang: Great meats. Friendly service. Glad to cut to special request.
Phill Johnson: Great fantastic cuts of meat fresh from the pastor to your table. You must try their iron flat steaks. Theey were the most tender juicy steak I ever had when I cooked it on the grill. The staff is great! You have to try their beef sticks and beef jerky they are amazing. They have pork products as well and they carry a large selection of other local products ranging from barbecue sauces and honey to salsa made and manufactured locally by other independent companies. Shop and spend local!

North Oak Quality Meat Market: what do users think?
Lora Smith: We are a small family owned meat store, located In Gladstone,Missouri and we want to thank all of our customers !
Paul Riley: I want into buybeef suet and when I got home I realized they sold me pork fat trimmings. If I go in to buy a porterhouse don't wrap up a pork chop and send me away with it.
David Bramble: Worst meat I've ever purchased! Bought half a cow a few months back and now it seems like almost everytime I grab a cut of meat out of the freezer and unwrap it I'm extremely disappointed. Most of the meat is poorly wrapped up with clear plastic wrap with some of the meat exposed then covered with butcher paper and taped up to make it appear fine.. some meat that I've opened up has been in ziploc bags that still had air in them so almost everything is freezer burnt. I couldn't even tell you how much meat I've thrown away because of the rotten smell after thawing! Not to mention I never saw my brisket that was supposed to be in the order.. I shoulda known it was a bad place when I paid my deposit and the butcher had me sign a piece of paper that he drew up himself with a pencil so my payment was documented lol then they said I never paid my deposit... ive seen some people on here say they have good meat but when i went into their store it was warm and musty and the meat on display looked rotten.. I'll never be buying from there again!
Jeff Homan: 1st. Wonderful owner. Very knowledgeable and courteous.2. Meat is great. Beautiful marbling3. Pricing is hard to beat.I've bought beef for years from another farmer. Will probably be changing supplier.
Shawnie Thomas: Best meat store ever, and the lady there is super sweet!!
Austin Reese: No shark meat
Dinh Pham: I called ahead and asked for 1/2 side of prime rib.Picked up an hour later. Roughly 10lbs.It didn’t look like prime so I asked if it was prime. The person hesitated but let me know it was prime. I should have backed away at this point. The meat turned out to be frozen too.Meat turned out to be less prime than usual.Probably won’t go back.
Cheri Gaylord: Both Oak Quality Meat Market has always gone above in getting me a great product with friendly service.
Chief: We only buy our meat from here. Beef quality is unreal. You know the meat is prime when it smells amazing even before you cook it. Great customer service.
Jim Patterson: We were in for the first time last Sat after moving back to KC. We miss McGonigle's... tried an extra thick cut ribeye (boneless) and it was excellent. If you are looking for good meat at a fair price, these guys seem to be it for north KC. We will be back!
David Massey: If this is your only experience with a butcher, it’s not normally like this. I suggest going else where. Over priced, no selection, rough looking interior.
David Montez: 1st time visit asked for two ribeye steaks. Paid $40.00 got home and was not happy. Had so much hard fat. Once I trimmed them not even worth the trip. Yeah I won't be back.
Brianna Williams: Everything we got was high quality and at a good price. The jalapeno brats were awesome. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem I had was spotting the sign for the store. I will definitely be shopping there again.
Joe Blalack: pass on this one
Andrea Bohn: My husband and I bought some beef ribs from North Oak Quality Meat Market and they were amazing! Totally inexpensive and great quality. It looks like a family owned and operated business and they were super helpful.
Verlee Gilkerson: Quality meat and friendly service.
Bubba Ho-Tep: Great service good prices on quality meats
Christopher Graves: I've been here several times and have had good experiences but today is different. The guy, I think he said his name was Stu, wearing a red and white Cardinals hat was incredibly rude. My girlfriend asked a simple question about what thickness of cuts were available and he laughed in her face. Bad experiences yield poor reviews.
jesse stephan: Don't waste your money. Ordered a bundle a little while back and when I picked it up the paper on everything was soaked threw with blood, not the correct size (2in ribeyes were half an inch at best) and the order was wrong, Had too drive back and fourth 4 times too get everything in the freaking order. Called too try and get it fixed after opening the disaster and they did nothing. Bad business practices screwing people over. Runs all the meat threw a ban saw so everything is shredded. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Chandler Little Eagle-Shaffer: PLEASE BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS HERE!!! The owner of this establishment tried to physically assault my husband because we wanted our order fixed. Let me just start by saying we have been loyal customers for about 6 months now, and up until the past few months very satisfied with the meat quality and customer service. The past few times we have placed orders for meat bundles, we show up at home either missing meat from our bundle or simply not receiving what we ordered. **Mind you, we live about a 45 minute round trip from this place.** Today, after coming home, I realized my meat bundle order was yet again NOT what I had ordered. I was frustrated, but returned to the store mild mannered simply wanting my order fixed. The woman who was working the counter argued how their policies on the meat bundles changed, instead of telling me upon placing my order, or giving us notice for next time. She further states the decision to fix my order was not up to her, and she needed to get the owner/boss, who's name is Shannon. Shannon greets us and immediately tells us how we will not get our order fixed, because how the policy has changed on how they package the meat (which again we were completely unaware of until we brought our order home). Also, they never updated the menu to reflect these changes either, and instead they pass the blame on the customer. As if this was not bad enough, Shannon proceeds to tell us if we don't like it we can take our money elsewhere, so at this point we took him up on his offer for a refund and thats basically where this situation escalates. Upon taking money out of the drawer he starts an a verbal confrontation with my husband that ends up in him walking around the counter and attempting to swing on my husband while cussing at him. His employee literally had to restrain him from assaulting a customer in the front lobby of his business. To make matters worse, he shorted us in cash for our order and ripped us off before the altercation even took place! This place is a complete joke that claims to be a "quality" meat market yet they are incompetent of filling basic requests of their customers, let alone attempting to ASSAULT a customer for simply wanting what they paid for. All we were asking was to fix what THEY DID NOT DO RIGHT and that is our fault. I am not a review person that goes around writing bad reviews but this was terrifying, you can't make this stuff up people....this place needs to be SHUT DOWN.Needless to say, if you decide to continue business be prepared to protect yourself, ESPECIALLY, if they make a mistake on your order.
Stephanie Coleman: Very good quality meats and reasonably priced, love their spices!

Full Sircle Farms: what do users think?
Jon Holtz: To high of prices the cuts of beef are very little
Justin Hildebrand: I have ordered a 1/2 cow from Full Sircle for 3 straight years. The meat is always been exceptionally tasty and tender. I can not imagine buying beef anywhere else. Guy is a very nice and trustworthy man to do business with.
Dana Polo: When my husband and I committed to buying grass fed beef, we tried buying it at the grocery store and also having it delivered. The delivery service cost a fortune, but it provided a lot of variety. At the grocery store, the only grass fed beef we could get was ground beef, and it was still pretty pricey. We were a little leary of buying an entire side of beef from a company we had never worked with before, but we're glad we did! The beef is great, Guy was easy to work with and we got a nice variety of grass fed beef cheaper than we could any other way.
Dave II (Dave 2): Can't wait to get my next order!
