Ryan Wiedmaier: Updated - I've been here multiple times. It's definitely a great place to rent a pontoon or small fishing boat and have some fun. You can kayak or paddleboard across the entire lake easily without having to worry about high speed traffic. I look forward to returning next time! The Jackson County park reservation system shows times that aren't always accurate so make sure to check with the marina before heading out!---------------------------------------------------I've only been here once but the Marina was well taken care of as well as the pontoon boat we rented. Staff was helpful and courteous. Would certainly return.

Josh Dalton: MARINA EMPLOYEE WAS VERY RUDE TO MY DAUGHTER AND I. WE WENT ON February 20th 2023. All we wanted to do was but fish food regardless of of the fish were out. My daughter just wanted to throw food in the water. The man was extremely ride to us and had one of his friends in there as well. I fish here 60 times a year at least. I will not be coming back to this MARINA ever again.

Shea Dilly: Went out on the lake with one of the pontoon boats with my girlfriend's family and LOVED it. The lake is gorgeous, it was a great day for weather, and the staff was easy to work with. The boat was great, had speakers and was easy to run with plenty of seating. Everyone was comfortable and able to just take in the views of the lake and all the trees on the shoreline. Especially beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing for fall. Also saw a fair amount of wildlife! The usual birds around the water but we also saw a small deer along the shoreline, turtles, and more. Definitely recommend the pontoon boats whether you want to do a full day or even just cruise for a few hours. Lake Jacomo is beautiful and this is a fun way to experience it.

Jennifer Jensen: Let’s just say I live closer to Smithville lake and would drive the distance to kayak at Lake Jacomo.I used to come here as a child with my family and fish. Now my family and I come here to kayak! It’s super cheap- like $120 or so to license your kayak per year. Not over crowded and beautiful scenery! Park rangers do patrol but not heavily. It’s a nice go-to getaway for a day with the family ♥️

Marcus Pratt: The for sale box of ammunition I wanted to purchase was not marked with the price, forcing me to buy a more expensive box that I really could not afford. It was only after I purchased my ammunition that a salesman put the correct price on the ammunition. When I brought this to their attention, they inform me that I would have to go up to the refund counter and go through the whole process of getting a refund and then purchasing the ammunition that was on sale! I felt that they could have easily avoided this by simply advising me of the sales price in the first place. Normally I have very good purchasing experiences with Bass pro, but this time I was a little inconvenienced with the purchase in this particular case.

Michael Woodard: Put a lot of trust in Dons advice. Really steered us down the wrong path for the fishing tournament. Out of hundreds of dollars in possibly the worst bass lures ever recommended. The fish absolutely hated the color schemes that don swore by. Kinda thinking he just made it all up.

Sara Beth Prideaux: If you are a woman who is looking for hiking gear and/or shoes do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The women's clothing section doesn't offer any real attire fit for doing any serious hiking yet the men's section does. I went to try on hiking boots and Bass Pro apparently does not cater to wide sized feet. Bass Pro definitely needs to step up their game.

Tim Smith: Check out was very slow. There was only one person ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get through the line. The cashier seemed very interested in chatting with the lady ahead of me. The customer service area had 2 people standing around doing nothing. I understand customer service representatives are not allowed to take customers money for purchase. The credit card reader is an older slower version that keeps popping up messages to leave your card in the reader. These machines need to be updated.

Jason Gibson: I ordered online for instore pickup. It would have been faster for me to come in myself. While I am always satisfied with the selection, there is always a lot of people around, but onky a few allowed to work customer service.

Sara LaMastres: I have been visiting this Bass Pro since I was a child. I have many memories here and I'm glad I get to make memories with my children here too! My son and I visited the other day and he loves to see the animals. The store is always clean and well organized and the animals are obviously well taken care of! I just wish the restaurant was still open. The food was great and again, great memories there! Hopefully it comes back in the future!

Whether you need bows, guns, ammo, golf, shoes, Sports clothing, bicycles and more. This is a good place to go for a nice quality. It is clean and organized.

T L: If you need it for a sport, this place has it. They've had everything we've needed for wrestling, football, soccer, and 5ks. We were even able to score a trampoline during the pandemic while all other stores were out of stock. It's a bit of a drive for us for but this is the place we know will have what we need when local stores do not.
