Bruce Greene: Took advantage of the lakes section where they got grills put the boat in the water drank a laugh the rangers are on it here you won't have to worry about your cars if you're in the water you won't have to worry about being inconvenience not being on the boat dock they enforce all rules so that everyone's fun can be just that thanks rangers
swamperjmb: People are great but the bait is not so great. Last time I went, I asked for minnows that I could use for crappie fishing and got a bunch of dead one's and most were to big for crappie. Today I decided to give them a second chance because there's nowhere close to me that sells minnows (I live in Belton.) I asked for small minnows again and explained I was crappie fishing. Upon examination, I got maybe four decent smaller minnows and the rest I can use for deep sea fishing, they're friggin HUGE! I suppose I can use them for catfishing...

From worms and minnows to snacks and drinks, the Marina has what you need as well as a staff that is committed to service. Not sure what they did to the worms today, but we slayed them!

Emmy W: Lovely lake with privacy - tried out renting some kayaks from the main Marina for an hour (which were some of the most uncomfortable I've ever had). That said, it was a great motivation for us to go buy our own kayaks and float around the lake.This marina allows you to feed the giant carp by buying some food from the front desk. There's usually Canadian geese and ducklings around asking for a handout as well. This always goes over real well with little kids and curious dogs.There's also a place for you to fill up your boat and a marina for storing boats that you can fish off of in specific places.

Ryan Wiedmaier: Updated - I've been here multiple times. It's definitely a great place to rent a pontoon or small fishing boat and have some fun. You can kayak or paddleboard across the entire lake easily without having to worry about high speed traffic. I look forward to returning next time! The Jackson County park reservation system shows times that aren't always accurate so make sure to check with the marina before heading out!---------------------------------------------------I've only been here once but the Marina was well taken care of as well as the pontoon boat we rented. Staff was helpful and courteous. Would certainly return.

Josh Dalton: MARINA EMPLOYEE WAS VERY RUDE TO MY DAUGHTER AND I. WE WENT ON February 20th 2023. All we wanted to do was but fish food regardless of of the fish were out. My daughter just wanted to throw food in the water. The man was extremely ride to us and had one of his friends in there as well. I fish here 60 times a year at least. I will not be coming back to this MARINA ever again.

Shea Dilly: Went out on the lake with one of the pontoon boats with my girlfriend's family and LOVED it. The lake is gorgeous, it was a great day for weather, and the staff was easy to work with. The boat was great, had speakers and was easy to run with plenty of seating. Everyone was comfortable and able to just take in the views of the lake and all the trees on the shoreline. Especially beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing for fall. Also saw a fair amount of wildlife! The usual birds around the water but we also saw a small deer along the shoreline, turtles, and more. Definitely recommend the pontoon boats whether you want to do a full day or even just cruise for a few hours. Lake Jacomo is beautiful and this is a fun way to experience it.

Jennifer Jensen: Let’s just say I live closer to Smithville lake and would drive the distance to kayak at Lake Jacomo.I used to come here as a child with my family and fish. Now my family and I come here to kayak! It’s super cheap- like $120 or so to license your kayak per year. Not over crowded and beautiful scenery! Park rangers do patrol but not heavily. It’s a nice go-to getaway for a day with the family ♥️

Paul Gassler: $30 boat ramp fee? Sorry Jackson County but I won't be back.Toilet facilities that wouldn't pass a health inspection, stationary docks that make it difficult to launch, and a steep ramp angle make this a one and done for this boater.

Tinka Parker: We took the kids here to feed the carp. We wanted to bring a lot of food so we brought cat food which is acceptable. (Bread isn't allowed). They had a blast feeding of the fish and watching the fish go crazy for food. We enjoyed seeing the ducks also.

Terry Burks: Went on the 4th to spend time on the lake, went inside the store to buy something, immediately was asked to put on a mask, I am OK with this however there were 6-7 kids standing behind the counter they had their mask below their noses. What is the point of wearing a mask if not done correctly. Come on. Also, back to all of the kids, Jackson County worries about their budget but they hire these kids to just hang out in the marina store and do nothing, maybe one or two will help out with the gas purchases. I can't believe they won't pump your gas for you like they do at table rock or other Missouri lakes. So it's just a waste of money having those kids stand around and do nothing.
Regan Bourland: Sometimes it's just downright too busy at this ramp, but today was not bad at all. Against popular opinion, we do like to kayak here. Too much boat traffic for most and not enough coves. But we get along fine as long as it's not too windy.

John Fillmore: I booked a romantic ride for my girlfriend and me we arrived a great early to find parking and be there in time a bit before the appointment they called and said they were canceling all the rides for the evening due to rain and asked if I wanted to reschedule or cancel I live over a hr away and I'm disabled and asked if I could cancel they said they would but after taking 35% off what I paid even though they canceled I'm passed off and not happy and now I'm out all my money thanks for a horrible experience and taking away from me I won't be back

The gondola was so romantic. There was even Italian music playing as we cruised. It is short, but it's a must do experience!

Jake Bakula: Billy Kelly was extremely helpful in arranging multiple video calls, and coordinating delivery for my boat purchase as I am not in the area. Great communication, easy to reach, and highly knowledgeable with any questions that I had!
Brian Clayton: Had a lot of people work on my boat, but these guys were responsive and came out to my dock 2 times after they did multiple repairs at their shop. Old boats are hard to work on and they stood by their work. Got me running good and I’ll always use them.

Cole Oliphant: Great service, great people, the service department diagnosed and repaired our boat motor to perfection. In the past the service department helped me fix a problem over the phone, can't ask for anything better.
Jeremy Masters: Scheduling drop off and pickup was very customer friendly. Turnaround from drop off to troubleshooting was better than anyone else in the area. Technicians were able to diagnose starting issue and informed customer that boat “runs good”. Still needs some fine tuning so will be looking to return to shop when back in town.
Tom McFarlin: The amount charged for labor seems to be extremely high comparatively. My engine has been "diagnosed" and serviced twice and yet I am still having engine troubles.
t myers: Took 2year old Tracker 195tx with motor issue.A couple days later they called and informed me that motor was blown. They called Mercury and was able to get my power head replaced under warranty. Only took a couple weeks and i had my boat back. Will be using Blue Springs Marine on all of my future boat repairs.Also they kept me up to date with text messages. And always responded to my sent texts

John Love: My 30 year old pontoon boat had not been running well for over a year. Last October I brought it to blue springs marine for repair and prep for winter. They guaranteed that in the spring it would start and run properly with no additional maintenance necessary. Today (in May) it started right up and ran better than it has in years. Thank you for excellent service!
Jaden: The repairmen came out to my boat for a follow up after previous repairs. That really impressed me! No fee. Just really good service. Even better, they quickly fixed the problem. Both guys were friendly, professional and obviously, helpful.
Brad Ashley: I slowly drove around the lot looking at boats, pulled in and walked around the showroom wanting information about both new and used pontoon boats. I also had questions about eccessories. Not one person greated me, asked me if I needed assistance or even noticed I was there. I walked around, walked on the boat platform and throughout parts for at least 10 minutes. There seemed to be only one other customer in the lobby and at least 4 employees. I will not return.
