The DugoutKC: what do users think?
michael c: First timers- very impressed and convenient location. Will return !
Jason Harper: Facility looks fantastic!
Hailey Schroeder: They are so nice here and and always so welcoming.
Ali Davis: Birthday party for our 10 year old son went very smoothly. They had lemonade, water and utensils etc so less things for us to bring which was great. We played dodgeball and kickball which was a big hit. We thought we were going to play whiffleball and tug of war so I'm not sure if you need to specifically ask for this or not but kids had a great time just the same. Management is very easy to work with. Overall would recommend
robby portugal: Friendly owners. Great facility
Brian Evans: This was our first time visiting and we had a great experience at the The DugoutKC. We needed to get some machine pitch practice in for my young son and daughter. Aaron, & Christy were eager to help. Aaron even gave a few pointers on batting that we had been missing. It greatly helped my son make contact with the ball and turned the entire experience into a win win for the family...no more frustration. Thanks again and we will be back soon.
Janae Banks: I’m visiting Kansas City from New York and I needed a place to practice my hitting for softball. I went in there just to hit the tee but ended up getting a full on training session from Aaron and Kristy! Kristy saw me struggling trying to hit and watch a YouTube training video at the same time and jumped in to help! Soon enough Aaron came in to help me as well! I went from feeling terrible to confident and I can’t thank them enough! Can’t wait to go back and I highly recommended you check them out as well! ❤️❤️❤️
Katrina McGonigle: Owner is helpful. Help my kid go from no hits to a consistent hitter in our short season.
Sarah W: We had a birthday party at The Dugout and it was an amazing experience. Super friendly and accommodating. We had a mixture of adults and kids playing the whole time and we all had so much fun. 100% recommend.
David McGonigle: Clean building. Great cages. Friendly service. Decently priced. And all indoors.
Fawn Thomas: The DugOut is awesome!!! It let's our boys practice even in the rain!!! And they get to have the much needed batting practice with the machine!!! The people are nice and friendly and are willing to help you with basically anything!!! The guy taught me how to feed the balls into the machine properly!!! My husband usually does that but he worked with other things this time and left me to feed the machine!!! They supplied the baseballs, which was nice, so I didn't have to bring my own!!! They also had batting tees for the boys to warm up on before they got to the pitching machine!!!
Garrett Standley: The best place in KC for indoor baseball. 1 full field with 3 long tunnels. Not to mention a great bullpen. And the turf is what we see on fields now so you can mimic games.
Tanner Royster: Wow. The DugoutKC is one of the cleanest facilities that I have seen in the Midwest. The staff there are very professional and extremely friendly. If I could I would give The DugoutKC more then 5 stars. And their prices are hard to beat, not too expensive at all.
Randy Freeman: Great staff and facility
theresa persinger: They are such great people! They really care about the kids!
Jeff Newton: the two owners are so awesome, they are like family...
Danielle NIETO: This place is amazing.. had lots of fun and can't wait to go again not costly . I just went with my hubby as something to do and we loved it and they provided us with equipment.. worth it
Joseph Simone: Very nice, clean, & large indoor facility. Aaron, & Christy are both awesome!! Plenty of tunnels to hit, or pitch in, + even larger areas to practice fielding. Also pitching machines available if needed. Our teams have practiced here for the past 4+ years. & I’ve also given many private lessons here.Hats off to both owners, & this well kept facility. Thanks again for doing anything you can for my kids, & All the teams that Work in your place.
Rod & Patricia Myers: Christy and Aaron are amazing we have been working with them for our baseball Organization for several years. They have always treated us really well. They treat are all of our teams really well we could not be happier with the decision to be part of their Dugout family
Jockay _: Good for baseball
Huey Sidearm Ext.: Awesome staff! Awesome hitting lanes. Definitely a place to take your slugger.

Cool Crest Family Fun Center: what do users think?
L Diamond: We stuck with just the arcade when we visited Cool Crest due to weather. The games were fun, but we had issues with the machines taking coins and sometimes not receiving tickets after playing. Friendly service. The bathrooms weren't the best, but the rest of the arcade was to be expected.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry Free …More
Tom McDowell: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry FreeMore
Shantra Sisk: Some of the arcade games could have been less tokens or actually worked. I was surprised to see it was still open. I grew up in south KC so it was awesome to still have something from my childhood.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry Free …More
Robert Walding: Arcade was great hit the jackpot on multiple games! Staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a three hour unlimited pass for mini golf and go karts, and for some reason you could only buy it at certain times. Otherwise they have been getting more up to date
Carrie Porter: It was honestly super lame. MostOf the game machines ate your coins or didn’t give you your tickets. Or didn’t work. The mini golf was poorly maintained. The only ok thing was the go karts. Overall I do regret spending my money here. It just sucks and total waste. But the employees are super cool! Just won’t be returning
Joseph D: The mini golf was fun with 3 courses to choose from.
Marcel Jr.: Me and my daughter loves this place...
Jill Kroencke: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $21–30More
Andrew Stuehmer: Great time! Took a second to understand how the holes work. Been around forever. Didn't get to finish all the holes :(Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Timothy Davis: Visited on WeekdayMore
Casey Clements: Course was a little run down, but still was fun. Wish someone would stick alittle money into this place as it's a great piece of history.
Charles Herndon: Great place for family fun
Tammy M: We rode the go carts and went to the arcade this time. It was fun but there were several games that were out of order. This place has been around for over 40 years and I think it's pretty cool!
steffh blackmon: Love it but looking for fun places for kids age 5
Liah Bruckner: I brought my son here today 5/5/2023. It was at 5:30 and they were not busy at all. There was one helpful older gentleman who told me to get tokens from the machine and not the counter because you don’t have to pay tax. Other than that every young person working here was rude and not helpful. They were all standing in a circle talking, not wanting to be interrupted. When I went to the counter originally for tokens the young woman working argued with a young guy on who would help me. They were two feet in front of me arguing about helping me. It was awkward. I finally said “can anyone just get me some tokens.” That’s when the older gentleman told me about the machine. We used the terminator shooting game and only one side worked, the other took my coins. Several of the machines took the tokens but wouldn’t play. With the rude teenagers working there it was pointless to ask for our tokens back. We then went to get food from their snack shack.. the two people working said order from up there and pointed to the front desk and walked away from us.. so we didn’t even bother. We wanted to play mini golf, but couldn’t get anyone to help us get golf clubs. Overall the workers really ruined the experience for us. We won’t be back. Super disappointed because this was a staple of both mine and my partners childhood that we had hoped to share with our son. Hoping they see this review and make the necessary changes in employment to make this place thrive again.
Krista Donovan: I highly suggest buying your tickets from Groupon. If you try to buy them off cool crest's website and head in shortly after the staff will tell you it takes 24 hours for it to register in their system. This was very inconvenient. They had to issue a refund (which can take 5-7 days) and buy then purchase the tickets from them in person at the desk for a higher price. Other than that, the go-karts were really fun! Mini golf could use some nice decor or something to liven it up. Arcade was a little on the run down side. Some of them were out of order and/or displayed low tickets signs. My kids enjoyed it though so that made it worth it.
David & Keri Birk: Great family fun
Michael Copeland: Many machines were broken or did not give out tickets I ordered two sodas cost was $7.13 I handed them a ten+13 cents I confused them they couldn't make change I had to tell them they owed me$3 pretty sad
Chris Bryant: Went for mini golf. Staff was friendly. Place was somewhat clean. Course we played could use some updates, not sure about the rest. It was functional, provided some fun and entrainment.
Christopher Senter: Showed up before 7 when they close at 8 to mini golf. they told me they were closing early cause they were slow and then as I said "okay thank you" and was walking away an employee blurted "go away"Trash service and trash business
Terence LaPoint: A very cool place to go but it is need of renovations.

KC Baseball Academy: what do users think?
Nicole Compton: KCBA has helped develop my son greatly. We love all the coaches and staff at Kansas City Baseball Academy. They have a great facility and we highly recommend them.
Jeff Rajer: Our experience at KCBA has been fantastic. John and the coaches care about more than just baseball with our son. They stress academics and explain the importance of incorporating that with sports. Our son had a serious injury last year and he still received an offer for which they pro-rated until he was healthy, that's hard to find. The instruction, coaching and facility have been great for our son and it has led to him being a better player and student. They promised outstanding showcases and that's all we have done this summer. I was particularly impressed with the off season conditioning and preparation for High School ball.
Timothy Brodrick: We found KCBA after leaving one of the ‘big’ club teams which was a horrible experience. John Hayes has worked with my son and in less than a year my son is a vastly different/better player.I see John attending almost ever game my sons team plays and you will see him coaching the kids up in the dugout. This is something you won’t see with the other clubs in the area. The individual team coaches are very experienced and challenge the kids on the team to be accountable and to grow on and off the field. If your kid isn’t going to put in the work save your money and go play rec baseball. This isn’t the place for your kid if they are lazy and don’t put in the time. A player needs to be working on improving daily or the improvement won’t come. The fees charged here a less than at most other clubs we have played for and they are very considerate of providing these young men the best experience possible while not emptying the parents bank account. We are extremely happy to have found KCBA!
Zach Poland: We started here when they opened 3-4 years ago at 11U. If you have been in THIS system and you don't become a better person and player........that's on your player and or parents and you don't belong here anyway. The experience growthwise as a person and holding players to a higher standard was what we were looking for as should be for any parent. The travel distance was an issue for us so we left for 2 years and went to 2 different major academies in the KC area. They were big names and big talk with little to offer in player and personal development. We have been back a year now and wish we wouldn't have left. Many life skills and character building is instilled here that cannot/will not be duplicated elsewhere. This organization is not about just winning ball games every time out although staying with the process will almost guarantee that at a high level. Can't say enough about how glad we are to have found this place!!P.S. your kids talent won't bail you out if you're an asshat parent
Kori Hoback: I'd give them zero stars but unfortunately it won't let me....don't waste your money
Tony Myers: Total money grab. John doesn’t care about kids development, just about getting paid. Payed over 2K and don’t even have a full team. Lack of Communication. 13U coach is clueless and out of his league.
Kent Alexander: Had a good experience with 16u coaches, however did not play all tournaments promised and did not get a refund. This year was miserable with 18u. Again, did not get all tournaments promised with no refund but were also not able to use facility for at least 3 months, no refund. But when it came time to start playing they held the players jerseys, which were horrible, until all payments were made, even though we had paid $2700 already. Head coach played his favorites no matter how many errors made. Also brought up players from other team even though we had enough of our own players to play. Make sure you get chummy with the coach so your kid can play. Worst season we've ever had in baseball with any of our 4 boys
Matt Smith: Great place to practice baseball. Really good organization. Happy to be part of the team.
Eric Reinitz: That staff is super cool they always go out of their way to accommodate my baseball team been going there every winter for several years and will continue
Kenneth Smith: Great indoor facility with a professional and friendly staff.
Mommy Williams: This is an awesome facility with awesome owners/ staff! I found KCBA while searching for an affordable indoor baseball facility to hold practice for my 10U Rec BB Team! Keep up the good work and thanks for all y’all do!
Mike Jenkins: Awesome facility and great place to train.
Bridget Sawmiller: Great facility will definitely be back
Brad Coleman: KCBA moved buildings this year and had to build a facility from scratch. They've done a great job turning this into a top notch baseball training facility. In addition to the field and tunnels shown in pics, they have a physical training facility room, an office, a store, and TV and ping pong table with couches in the lobby. The owner and all coaches I've met and worked with have been gracious and knowledgeable.
Rebecca Mackesty: I left a review on their Facebook page which has been removed and I have since been blocked. Initially we had a great experience with KCBA, that is until they decided to not honor the contracts with the 8U team. We all had contracts with KCBA through the end of June, yet when the regular baseball season ended in May, they informed our team that we were no longer welcome to use the facility or practice fields unless we were willing to pay more money (despite having a month left on our contracts). The entire team was ready to come back for the next season until they decided to be dishonest. Why they would cheat kids out of an entire month is beyond me. Terrible business practices especially considering they deleted my review on Facebook and blocked me for telling the truth about the business.
Ja'cinta Thornton: The directions took me to the back of establishment where there's no entrance.
Garrett Honeycutt: Nice and friendly place to prep for summer ball. I think prices are high but they are perfectly inline with others. I have a hard time spending 40 bucks for an hour in a batting cage. But for teams it is perfect indoor practice
Steel Dog 20: Nice flat screen tv and great services
Chris & Lacey Anderson: Indoor facilities
