Teresa Thomas: It's Sunday and was out celebrating Moma Faye's 81st birthday, her restaurant of choice because baby the manager, round rude gentleman I would have left! The chef & our waiter was the bomb. We even got the drums. If he's this rude on the Lord's day to customers, no wonder he can't open tomorrow because of staffing. He's rude! 4-9 isn't long enough for you to have no customer service with your tone, actions or facial expressions. I will not return.

Frances Meeks: We had reservations for a Birthday celebration at 6:30pm. We were there on time as reflected in a bar bill receipt that read 6:19. We did not leave until 8:45pm. We were sitted at 6:50. We waited 40 minutes before we got our salad. We were serviced our meat before our rice. The food order contained errors. When we complained to the management, they said our party was not there on time. The customer service went down hill from there.

ALSO, don't forget the amazing robot that brings you your meal.Parking: There's not a lot of parking spots near the restaurant, you do have to find a place and walk if you go at dinner time. Don't park at the Price Chopper, they watch the lot for people parking there to go other places.

Jill Arnold: We scheduled reservations for Saturday 2/25/23 for 6pm for 15 people, to celebrate my sons birthday. We were advised later that day, that the restaurant would not be able to accommodate that many people at that time, so they changed it to 8pm. My son and his family arrived at 7:50 pm. No one never acknowledged them, so they just went and found them a seat in the corner. I arrived at 8pm, found them in the corner sitting, still waiting to get acknowledged. By 9pm, the waitress finally came over to us, asking how many people were in our party. She finally got us seated, shortly after 9pm. She took our drink orders, and never came back. The cook came over to our table and lit the fire, then he went out the front door of the restaurant to smoke 2 cigarettes, while we were still at the table waiting to get served.Around 9:30 pm, we gathered our belongings and left out of the restaurant.I will never recommend this place to anyone! I don’t know what the food taste like, because we were never served!

This I will say; it's always consistent as far as not being very good. So I always knew what I was getting. It's not like it was ever good and then disappointing.

Danielle Johansen: My family had to find a new hibachi grill after Samurai Chef and Gojos closed. We have tried several and like Toro the best. The food is good (though on occasion the steaks do get over cooked), and the service and good as well. We like to get the steak combos and sub for the filet, which is very tender. The scallops and shrimp are always well done too. We love the soup and salad that comes before the meal- a nice little appetizer kind of thing. Speaking of appetizers, the edamame and takoyaki are worth trying if you don't want any sushi. The wait can be a bit long sometimes, especially on the weekend but it's shorter if you call ahead and make a reservation. Sometimes you can feel a bit squished in when there's a lot of people at the table but the ambiance is nice- feels cozy with the dim lights and the dining area being slightly broken up. It looks neat inside too, especially the drink and sushi bar area. If you just want to pop in and not do hibachi there is also a small area of seating for that. Uwaeke Uwaeke: Booked a reservation and was seated immediately. That's not why I'm giving the 2 stars. Placed our order at the hibachi, made sure to ask for double rice and have a person allergic to seafood. The cook went through everybody orders overlooking the seafood allergy. He began to cook only to give my double rice of the grill to someone else and bring me rice from the back that was cold. Smh. Then cooked all the meat together and still try to give the seafood to the person with seafood allergy. Instructions and allergies are important as what if she wasn't paying attention and received seafood. It would've fell on the restuarant. Being mindful of the customer definitely wasn't considered. The cook even screamed for help more than received, nobody came to assist him. Lady dropped glasses of water while a staff watched her instead of helping her. Staff was selfless as well for that.

Melissa D: I chose to have my birthday here and I did NOT like the food. The scallops were not seasoned, were raw and cold in center and no butter taste or anything. The rice didn’t seem to be cooked how I’ve had it in other hibachi grills, no egg or the fried rice full of flavor it just was so bland. For my bday, they brought a sparkler in a cucumber. I guess I didn’t need any option or chance to order a dessert for my bday. When we got there they were rude about the two others that weren’t there yet and didn’t seat us yet and then decided to when they saw they were on the way. It was completely dead at that time, just zero generosity for a birthday guest. Ginger sauce was mushy annd weird. Everything felt so rushed and wasn’t a fan at all. Overall, it wasn’t great I won’t be back.

Ashley: Went for hibachi and paid for it but they ran out of rice at our table after giving others their servings. We had to then wait for what looked and tasted like brown rice to be brought out after our food got cold and everyone else had been served. Over priced experience and half our meal wasn't cooked hibachi style like we paid for.

Jasmine Jones: Owner needs to get their delivery systems in check. They constantly create unrealistic prep times which leads to customer dissatisfaction and disappointment. As well as wasting delivery drivers' time, causing them to avoid accepting orders from this restaurant, which in turn causes more dissatisfaction and long wait time for customers, when no one picks up their order. Staff are dismissive, rude, and unwelcoming to guests.

Frank T: Gotta call the management out on this one. The day my sons mother was laid to rest, we decided to go out to eat to try and ease our minds and get a bite to eat. I called in a reservation for a party of 6 and told them we were a rather large party of 6. The management said they would reserve us an entire table. Well I guess they decided money was worth more than our comfort, as they squeezed in a party of four more and 1 was a not so happy child. I had to sit on the corner and just held my breath through the entire meal. It's a shame they felt they had to squeeze in more people as I'm sure my $350 bill was way more than the bill they other people had. I won't be coming back as I hate to be put in a spot of being the bad guy and telling people they should move.
